Valve is now offering SteamOS support for the Asus ROG Ally.
This move will further expand Valve’s market in terms of handheld consoles.
This update also improves Windows 11 support on the Steam Deck OLED.
Good news about the Asus ROG Ally has just surfaced. Valve will now offer complete compatibility with ROG Allyvia SteamOS. For content, this is the same operating system that the Steam Deck uses.
Why it matters: The Asus ROG Ally is often considered the best and most popular Windows-based handheld. Therefore, this is a smart decision from Valve.
The Asus Rog Ally Offers A Solid Gaming Experience On The Go
This may not come as a surprise since Valve’s original plan was to make its own operating system as widespread as possible. Indeed, you may know that the Steam Machine was made ten years earlier, but it was an unsuccessful project.
As Valve is offering its full support to the Asus ROG Ally, you will soon be able to utilize every extra button available that is similar to the Steam Deck’s layout. In this manner, following the release of the SteamOS update, every button on the ASUS ROG Ally will become programmable.
Valve also fulfills its own goal in this way. According to the company, the Steam Deck should not be the best-selling console globally. Instead, it serves as the ideal example for the rest of the industry to adopt SteamOS. Ultimately, this would grow the platform’s user base and revenue.
Apart from the additions for the Asus ROG Ally, SteamOS 3.6.8 improves Windows 11 support for the Steam Deck. The OLED model has finally received functional Bluetooth connectivity on Windows 11.
Valve is improving SteamOS compatibility across multiple portable consoles for further growth. Therefore, other popular handhelds, like the Lenovo Legion GO and MSI Claw, might be next in line to receive similar support.

Embracer Group has significantly reduced its workforce by approximately 40% in the past year, laying off thousands of employees.
The company closed down 36 studios, cancelled 30 game projects, and laid off 7,761 employees to streamline operations.
A failed $2 billion deal triggered a company-wide cost-cutting effort.
Embracer Group has laid off approximately 40% of its workforce over the past year. The Swedish gaming giant, which had been rapidly growing by acquiring many studios and IPs, has cut its workforce from 18,605 to just 10,844—a reduction of 7,761 employees.
Why it matters: Embracer’s headcount reduction showcases a broader trend in the gaming industry, as several studios are forced to lay off significant workforces. Just two weeks into 2024, more than 2,700 employees lost their jobs in the industry.
The gaming giant’s fast growth led to an overly large and hard-to-manage structure. Consequently, the company has closed 36 of its internal studios, dropping the total from 139 to 103 and cutting the number of game projects from 215 to 127.
The restructuring follows the collapse of a $2 billiondeal in mid-2023 that was meant to give the company a financial boost. This setback forced Embracer to rethink its plans and start a major cost-cutting effort.
This effort included layoffs, cancelling almost 30 game projects, and closing several development studios. The company appears to be simplifying operations and concentrating on more profitable projects.
The layoffs and closures have raised concerns in the gaming community and among industry analysts. Experts argue that the fast-paced strategy of buying up studios and intellectual properties was not sustainable and led to this situation.
Managing so many studios, each with its own culture and operations, perhaps turned out to be a difficult and ultimately unmanageable task. The company appears to have learned its lesson, as they announced they won’t be acquiring studios anymore.
Restructuring led to the closure of many studios.
The layoffs have been very tough on the affected employees. Many have turned to social media to share their frustration and sadness, showing the personal impact of the company’s restructuring.
Although the company says it will support those who lost their jobs, finding new work in an industry that’s also undergoing major changes may be challenging for some.
Looking ahead, the future is still unclear. The company’s plan to focus on fewer projects might help it regain financial stability and rebuild trust. However, losing talent and affecting the creativity of its remaining studios could have long-term impacts on the company’s ability to stay competitive in a fast-changing industry.

Stellar Blade developer Shift Up believes that most gamers prefer single-player titles over multiplayer releases.
Many Korean studios are following this trend and shifting towards more traditional games.
The free-to-play genre is no longer good for economic growth; therefore, single-player titles are preferable.
South Korean developers have been at the top of their game over the last two years. Releasing hits like Stellar Blade, Lies of P, and more, they’ve shown why single-player games are so good.
Now, Shift Up, the team behind Stellar Blade, has stated that they believe gamers prefer single-player titles over those belonging to the multiplayer and free-to-play genres.
Why it matters: Many South Korean studios previously focused on multiplayer experiences. They believe the global market for single-player games is expected to grow, so a shift is needed.
Shift Up will focus purely on single-player games in the future.
In the last issue of Game Informer, developers at various South Korean companies stated that they believe gamers at home are more attracted to single-player titles. Shift Up, Round8 Studio, and Pearl Abyss are notable ones now shifting their focus to traditional gaming experiences.
Each company made the point that players now want fresh, new experiences. These sorts of releases are not only economically viable for the South Korean market but also open up these games to the rest of the world.
Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-Tae revealed that only 5% of their overall game sales came from Korea. He argued that free-to-play and multiplayer titles have a limited audience because they require you to grind; hence, they are for seasonal players.
Korean Developers Will Continue To Produce More AAA Releases.
This offsets new, younger audiences from those games, leading to fewer players. Therefore, single-player titles are the way to go, and that is why most Korean studios are shifting their strategies.
Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-Tae also revealed that console growth in South Korea has ceased, which has affected sales. That led them to consider a Stellar Blade PC port, which could also help them reach a wider player base in their country.

Ubisoft previously revealed it allocated the biggest marketing funds for Star Wars Outlaws.
However, the marketing has been underwhelming so far, and the game is due to be released in just two weeks.
The gaming giant’s past marketing efforts have also led to various criticisms.
Star Wars Outlaws has been highly criticized for being unpolished and sluggish in recent footage. So far, only the visuals have pleased the fandom, but Ubisoft’s marketing has not been too great in other areas.
What’s interesting is the fact that the publisher promised an extensive campaign with the biggest marketing budget for Star Wars Outlaws. However, the marketing has been suspiciously quiet despite the game arriving in two weeks.
Why it matters: As big as the Star Wars IP is, everyone expected Ubisoft to push its upcoming AAA blockbuster at every turn possible.
Star Wars Outlaws Still Needs To Convince Fans It Can Deliver On All Promises
Ubisoft has done various previews to promote Star Wars Outlaws. However, this is nothing out of the ordinary since nearly every studio goes for this approach. These previews also became controversial when it was discovered that some content creators received VIP Disneyland trips for more positive impressions.
One would expect marketing efforts to be dialed up after these previews since the release is just weeks away. According to a report, Ubisoft even hired bots to increase excitement for this release.
However, these attempts at creating buzz do not sound like they belong in the biggest marketing campaign. As a publisher, Ubisoft is one of the biggest in the world. Despite its stature, it seems the studio isn’t even using basic YouTube ads to market Star Wars Outlaws.
We have been unable to find anything related to Star Wars Outlaws after going through several YouTube videos. The last official trailer also came out a while ago.
For massive releases, we’ve seen AAA studios relying on billboards, trains, and various other attractions to advertise their games. This is something one would expect for an IP like Star Wars, but we don’t see much effort from Ubisoft’s end.
While marketing efforts could ramp up closer to launch, Ubisoft’s biggest marketing campaign has been a bit of a letdown.
Star Wars Outlaws is coming from a major studio like Massive Entertainment, so it could certainly use a bit of positivity ahead of its release. After all, this is the same team that has made famous IPs like The Division for Ubisoft.

Removable batteries of gaming laptops allow for seamless battery swaps during intense gaming sessions and are away from interruptions.
A spare battery adds some extra years to the life of gaming laptops, which increases their longevity.
The laptops with removable batteries also provide a bit of freedom from the power outlet in the wall. This is very crucial in case of power blackouts and emergencies.
Gaming laptops are beasts, and it’s not always about the fancy slim design and specs; it’s about practicality. I have always been a hardcore advocate for laptops with removable batteries. You may call me “old-school,” but there are real and practical reasons that this feature is really a game changer.
Hot-Swapping Is A Secret Weapon
Imagine being in the middle of a game, and your battery starts to dip. With removable batteries, you don’t have to rush to find a power outlet. A quick battery swap will bring you back into the game with no downtime. This is life-saving, isn’t it?
Swapping isn’t just a theory. I routinely swap batteries to keep myself in the game without any delay. I swapped my 64Wh battery for a 90Wh one, giving me ~40% more game time. It’s a huge advantage, especially if you’re in the middle of a tournament.
Removeable Batteries Ensure Longevity
Gaming laptops are famous for battery degradation. The average lifespan of a gaming laptop is about five years, but after a year or two of heavy use, you might notice a significant decrease in battery life. Typically, a lithium-ion battery loses 20% of its power storage capacity after 500 charge cycles. However, there is a simple fix with a spare battery.
A Laptop’s Removable Battery (Image By Tech4Gamers)
The extra battery not only brings convenience to my life but is also sustainable. Instead of discarding a perfect running gaming laptop because of a tired battery, you can keep it up for a couple of more years.
Ditch The Traditional Overheating
If you get the most out of your gaming laptop, you’ll experience a lot of heat, which can reach 95 degrees Celcius, which is enormous. Overheating can shorten the lifespan of your machine and cause thermal throttling over time. In intense gaming sessions, you can simply change the battery, which reduces the heat exposure.
In my experience, this simple trick can make a noticeable difference in maintaining peak performance. After 3-hours of gaming, I compared internal temperature with and without battery. The difference was 10 degrees Celcius.
Investment Should Be Future-Proof
New technologies emerge every day when the technology is a buzzword now and might be obsolete tomorrow. Removable batteries give you a degree of future-proofing. The flexibility of finding a compatible battery is invaluable in this fast-paced industry.
The rise of modular laptops with swappable components further increases the importance of removable batteries without breaking the bank. Plus, in case of a power blackout or emergencies, these laptops are a life savior.
The Freedom Factor
Lock Mechanism For Removing Laptop Battery (Image By Tech4Gamers)
High performance and frame rate come at a cost, such as low power backup. Despite gaming laptops’ very low power backups, there’s a certain freedom not to tie to a wall outlet. The laptop with removable batteries allows a limit of freedom to game wherever you want to game at the time of your convenience.
I Love It
In the era of sleek design and slim laptops with fixed components, I prefer the indispensable feature of a gaming laptop: removable batteries. Although many manufacturers are shifting to non-removable batteries, I absolutely love that I can remove my laptops. Plus, this is something that I will always look for whenever I’m switching to a different laptop – it has become a must-have for me.
At Tech4Gamers I test and write about different hardware configurations to show other PC users what they can expect from their build. My end goal is to educate the masses to make the right decision when they are looking for new PC parts to buy
Story Highlight
If you want to save some money, it’s generally safe to get these four components used: PC case, CPU cooler, CPU, and graphics card.
As with any used purchase, you should be able to recognize scams and should always inspect and fully test these components before purchasing them.
Unless you have a ton of money to spend on your PC, you would probably be happy to learn that you can buy many components second-hand without needing to worry about their reliability. This can save you money, which you can put into your piggy bank, or spend more on an all-important part, like the graphics card. Sounds good? Well then, here are the components to buy used for cheaper.
Note that I’ve listed these in descending order of how much I recommend getting each part second-hand.
PC Case
This is the most no-nonsense option if you’re looking to save some bucks. Depending on your needs, a PC case can set you back anywhere from $30 to $200 (or more!). So, if you’re looking to get a case that costs $100, you could probably get it for half the cost or less, depending on the condition and how long it has been used.
In most cases, all you need to ensure is that you’re happy with the chassis’ condition in terms of scratches. A used case could also have broken I/O (for example, one of the USB ports may not be working) and case fans (for example, the RGB on one of the fans may not be working).
CPU Cooler
The next, also a fairly no-nonsense option, is a used CPU cooler. Air coolers, especially, have a virtually endless lifespan, and as long as there is no significant physical damage, they should work as well as rain. The only thing that can “die out” in an air cooler is the fan(s), which can easily be replaced.
As for AIOs, I would generally say they are also a safe option, but not as much as air coolers. They also have a pretty long lifespan, and typically are rendered useless only when the liquid coolant runs out. However, in serviceable AIOs, the coolant can be replaced. In general, though, I recommend getting an AIO only if it hasn’t been used much, and just like for air coolers, you check for physical damage.
CPU
You’d think that, with the CPU being one of the most important components, you shouldn’t compromise on it. But in reality, it’s improbable that you end up with a faulty CPU, and you’re hearing this from someone who has bought a handful of used CPUs since he’s gotten into PC gaming.
Any CPU you buy is likely either working perfectly fine or not working at all (dead). The only common exception to this is if the CPU has significant scratches on the integrated heat spreader (surface), which could affect its cooling and cause it to run hot. CPUs are so safe to buy as a used option because both Intel and AMD CPUs are programmed to shut your PC down as soon as they heat up to a dangerous level.
Graphics Card
While it’s my least recommended option, there’s little chance of you running into a misused GPU (any GPU used for gaming or video editing is probably okay!). Also, while getting a non-mined GPU is certainly better than a mined one, it’s not the worst option if you buy it from someone who has taken good care of it (and you’re getting it for a good price), as you can see in this video from LinusTechTips.
Of course, you can only really take the seller’s word for that, so I recommend a hand-to-hand deal where you can test the GPU’s performance before purchasing it. This goes for the non-mined GPUs, too, of course! If the clock speeds are the same or close to those specified by the manufacturer, and the test finishes normally, you’re good to go.
The Used Market Can Be A Goldmine If You’re Careful
While buying used components always involves some (usually minimal) risk, it can also be very rewarding if you practice caution. I’ve bought all sorts of used components over the years and haven’t run into trouble with any of them. The key is to be able to recognize scams (if it seems too good to be true, it probably is), perform face-to-face deals, and fully inspect and test whatever you’re buying before you finalize the deal.
If you’re buying from popular resellers, ensure they have a good rating and no scams have been reported. Additionally, you can purchase from websites like eBay that provide buyers protection.
At Tech4gamers, I cover all sorts of gaming news. Whether it’s a leak of any upcoming game or an update, an announcement, or a rumour, I like to write about it all. Over the weekend, I sit and write features where I talk about games that I miss or want to see return.

Final Fantasy 16 was released as a PlayStation exclusive last year.
In addition to the PC version, a port for Xbox is reportedly being worked on.
This is not the first time an Xbox release for Final Fantasy 16 has been discussed.
Final Fantasy 16 was released as a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive last year. Since its exclusivity contract is about to end, the PC port is already in the works. Following the game’s first anniversary, it seems the developers are also looking forward to an Xbox version.
While the game director has previously teased Final Fantasy 16 for Xbox, a new leak has provided more evidence that an announcement is coming soon.
Why it matters: Exclusivity hasn’t worked too well for Square Enix, as the publisher’s stock hit its lowest in over a decade following the disappointing release of its recent AAA titles. Therefore, launching its games for a bigger audience might be the right approach.
Final Fantasy 16 Has Long Been Requested For Xbox
Recently, one of the fans commented that Xbox is leaving exclusivity behind and releasing its game on PS5, so it would only be fair if third-party titles like Final Fantasy 16 were released for Xbox fans.
One of the most reliable leakers, NateDrake, has replied to this statement and stated that the title will be released on Xbox soon and that an official announcement is imminent.
FF16 on Xbox is going to happen. Just waiting for Square Enix To Announce it.
-Nate Drake
Although this is still a rumor, considering the credibility of the leaker and a previous statement from the franchise director, it appears that Xbox fans are indeed going to get their hands on Final Fantasy 16. When that is going to happen, however, remains to be seen.
Final Fantasy 16 Sold 3 Million Units On PS5
Not too long ago, Square Enix confirmed that it would leave exclusivity behind and focus more on releasing its titles on multiple platforms to reach a much bigger audience. Therefore, we can expect to see multiple titles from the franchise released on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC in the near future.
With Gamescom coming up, an announcement could be made as early as this month. Xbox has a major presence at this event, and Square Enix would benefit from all the attention this event typically draws.
If nothing else, the gaming giant should be gearing up to share more information about the PC port.
At Tech4Gamers, I contribute as a Senior News Reporter, combining my skills and gaming enthusiasm to keep our audience updated on the latest developments.

Multiple sources are pointing to Forza Horizon 5 as the next PS5 port from Xbox.
An announcement is reportedly coming very soon.
Following this release, more third-party releases are expected from the gaming giant.
Xbox’s third-party strategy is no longer a secret anymore. Following PS5 ports of Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and more, the gaming giant has plans to publish even more first-party titles on rival platforms.
Fans are also curious to learn what games will make the cut and move to the PS5. According to the latest reports, Xbox is set to announce Forza Horizon 5 for the PS5 soon.
Why it matters: Forza Horizon 5 is one of Xbox’s best-rated and most-played first-party titles. If it heads over to the PS5, practically nothing can be ruled out for a multi-platform release.
Forza Horizon 5 Will Celebrate Its Third Anniversary Soon
As reported by eXtas1s, Xbox has plans to release Forza Horizon 5 on rival hardware in the near future. The insider says an announcement may not be coming soon, but this racing game will soon head to the PS5.
Various other sources, including Insider Gaming, seem to be corroborating the report. Perhaps an announcement could be coming later this month at Gamescom since Xbox has confirmed intentions to have a major presence at the event.
Earlier rumors have even suggested that Indiana Jones, Gears of War E-Day, and Starfield are being considered for the PS5. If Forza Horizon 5 makes the jump, these would certainly become more believable.
This racing game launched in 2021 and remains one of Playground Games’ best releases. Porting the title to PlayStation could give it a huge boost in terms of player counts, giving PS5 owners the option to play Forza Horizon for the very first time.
Playground Games is currently busy with Fable. Perhaps Xbox plans to create more anticipation for this title through this move since Fable is shaping up to be one of next year’s biggest releases.

Today, I have another memory kit from Corsair that I will be testing. The Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 AMD EXPO has been rolled out for AMD PC builders. My team and I have already tested two other variants of the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB, but neither of them were specifically AMD EXPO optimized:
At Tech4Gamers, ensuring you get reliable information is our priority. That’s why every hardware round-up undergoes a meticulous review process by our team of experts and editors. Each review is carefully examined against our strict editorial guidelines, guaranteeing you trustworthy insights you can depend on.
Key Takeaways
The CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO is a premium Memory kit that is designed for enthusiast-grade PC users and fans of the Corsair brand.
You should buy it if you have the cash to splash and will not settle for a RAM that doesn’t come packing performance under its hood.
You should avoid it if your budget is on the lower side of things and you don’t need RAM that comes with a premium price tag.
You can use our RAM Latency Calculator to get the latency in nanoseconds. For this kit running @ 6000MHz CL30, it is 110ns.
How Is It Different?
The Dominator Titanium is one of Corsair’s premium product lines, and the kits released under this line usually are high performers, come with that premium outlook, and cost a lot since they’re designed for enthusiasts.
Initially, the Dominator Titanium launch was exclusive. Corsair’s intention with the launch was to target a handful of the top 5-8% of high-end PC gamers who are Corsair fans and want a premium experience. However, the product line is here to stay due to its positive endorsement.
While the kit comes packed with performance, its most striking feature is its aesthetic quality.
Packing Box
The kit I am testing the silver-gray color of this kit today. Unlike Corsair’s usual yellow packaging, this kit comes in grey box packaging just to stand out from the rest of Corsair’s memory line-up.

Design
The design of this memory kit has also been switched around. Corsair ships this RAM with a grey heatsink and a black RGB diffuser on top.

They are available in capacities as follows:
2x16GB
2x32GB
The kit has black aluminum covers and an RGB diffuser on top. These kits seem to be heavier than the other DDR5 kits I have tested. Under the hood, it has a 288-pin layout and a black PCB.
Label (Image By Tech4Gamers)
You can also see the back label, which shows the part number, serial number, tested speeds, and version 5.43.13 identifying Hynix ICs. The front and back sides contain the CORSAIR Logo, which seems to be the standard with all the Dominator Titanium Lineup kits.
Test Build
CORSAIR iCUE software was installed to control the lighting of this kit. I am not going into the details of iCUE since we have already given extensive coverage in our previous reviews. Here are a few pictures:

Should You Buy It?
Buy It If
✅ You are a CORSAIR lover and enthusiast: This pretty much explains it. The performance that the RAM is capable of dishing out has impressed us.
✅ You need premium high-performing RAM: If you’re one of those guys who just want the best hardware for your PC and have the cash to splash on it, make sure you buy this RAM as it will push your PC to the limit.
Don’t Buy It If
❌ You are on the lower side of your budget: If you’re running low on budget and can’t spare the bucks, this RAM kit isn’t for you as cheaper options are available in the market.
My Thoughts
I have already reviewed and tested the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5-6000 32GB CL30, which comes in white. I was pretty impressed with its performance.
The same is true with this one! While the color is silver grey, the performance is identical, and it looks great when running with the RGB. You will be glad once you buy it.

Cooler Type: 360mm AIO Liquid Cooler | Dimensions: 400 x 124 x 53 mm | Fans: 3 x EK Loop FPT Fans | Fan Speed: 2300 RPM | Noise Level: 36 dBA | Socket Support: Intel: LGA 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155, 1156, 2011, 2011-3, 2066+ AMD: AM4, AM5 | RGB: Yes
EK’s cooling solutions never fail to impress me and the EK AIO Nucleus CR360 LUX D-RGB is no different. It utilizes three of EK’s FPT fans, which provide a maximum fan speed of 2300 RPM while also offering 72 CFM of airflow. EK has also paid a lot of attention to the build quality of the cooler, which is evident thanks to the addition of brushed aluminum side panels on the radiator, daisy-chained fans, and sleeved rubber tubings.
Apart from that, the radiator isn’t too different from what I’m used to seeing on most other AIOs, featuring an FPI count of 20. That said, there is another compartment near the end to hide the tube connections, giving the cooler a cleaner overall look. The pump also delivers on the performance side of things, with a max speed of 3100 RPM. I like that EK has made the pump cap rotatable, allowing you to install it to your liking.
Our hardware reviewer, Awais Khan, was also surprised by how well the cooler managed to perform in our tests:
EK Water Blocks is back in business with its new generation of liquid coolers in the AIO category. Meet the EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 LUX D-RGB cooler, which is quite innovative from its design. It packs a solid performance punch that the competition has to manage. The digital RGB lighting is quite brilliant. We have everything to love about this cooler, albeit a bit high price tag.
PRO TIP: Using custom fan curves is the best way to deal with higher noise levels.
Buy It If

While Arctic has introduced several upgrades with the Liquid Freezer III A-RGB, it certainly hasn’t been at the expense of its value. If anything, the value proposition might just have improved thanks to the addition of a newer in-house pump design. The P12 fans have mostly remained the same, offering a speed of 2000 RPM as well as an airflow of 48.8 CFM.
I am a fan of the changes made to the pump. Arctic has made the cover magnetic, making it easier to remove. RGB is also well-integrated into the pump, and I found the ring design to be a lot more aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the VRM fan has also received a slight upgrade, now measuring 60mm, while also reaching speeds of up to 2500 RPM. Unlike its predecessor, you’re now able to control the VRM fan separately as well.
I was also impressed by how much Arctic was able to pack into the Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB. Here’s what I said in my review:
The Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Black A-RGB efficiently cools and offers great value for Intel LGA1700 and AMD AM4/AM5 sockets at an attractive price with a 6-year warranty. It features a large aluminum radiator, a copper cold plate, and three A-RGB fans, ensuring top performance and minimal noise.
WARNING: Unfortunately, you won’t be able to control the lighting effects of the pump and the fans separately.

Important CPU Cooling Terms To Know About
Radiator: A part of a liquid cooler that removes heat from the coolant using fans.
TDP(Thermal Design Power): This represents the maximum amount of heat a CPU is expected to produce, helping you choose the right cooler to handle the heat.
Heatsink: A passive cooling device made of metal with fins that helps disperse the heat generated by the CPU into the surrounding air.
FPI(Fins Per Inch): This measures how many fins are packed into one inch of a radiator. More fins can help cool your PC better by increasing the surface area that air flows through, but it also means you might need stronger fans to push air through the fins effectively.
CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute): CFM tells you how much air a fan can move in a minute. A higher CFM means the fan can cool things down quicker by moving more air over your components. However, you’ll want to consider how loud the fan might get.
Static Pressure: Static pressure is the power of a fan to push air through tight spaces like radiators, heatsinks, or dust filters.
Heat Pipes: Pipes filled with a liquid coolant that transfers heat from the CPU to the heatsink, boosting the cooler’s effectiveness.
How I Tested And Rounded Up The Best Coolers For Ryzen 7 9700X
My team and I have tested tens of different air coolers and AIOs to shortlist the top options for the Ryzen 7 9700X. These are the key aspects that I focused the most on:
Performance: I tested each cooler to see how well it managed the heat from the Ryzen 7 9700X. By analyzing different benchmark results, I could identify which coolers kept temperatures in check and supported overclocking without overheating. Of course, keeping in mind their pricing so their value aligns well with a 9700X build.
Aesthetics: I also considered the coolers’ visual appeal, especially those with customizable RGB lighting.
Compatibility: I checked whether the air coolers would fit inside a standard PC case without getting in the way of other components like RAM.
Noise Levels: I paid close attention to how loud each cooler got during heavy use. Coolers with adjustable fan speeds or PWM controls were especially useful in managing sound levels.

Square Enix has already remade various Final Fantasy entries.
The studio now seems to be teasing a remake of Final Fantasy 13.
Previous evidence has already pointed to a Final Fantasy 13 re-release, making this teaser quite exciting.
Final Fantasy is one of the biggest franchises in the gaming industry, but the series has not been the most successful lately. While the last two entries have been extremely well received in terms of critical reception, the commercial reception has left a lot to be desired.
However, Final Fantasy still has plenty of potential. As Square Enix continues to plan the third remake in the Final Fantasy 7 trilogy, the publisher seems to be teasing a similar treatment for Final Fantasy 13.
Why it matters:Final Fantasy 13 was released nearly 15 years ago and has developed quite a fan following since then. Therefore, a remake of this entry could do wonders in the modern era.
Square Enix Teasing The Final Fantasy 13 Remake via Twitter
Square Enix recently posted a tweet asking fans about their hottest and most unpopular opinions on the series. The developer said its Moogle stance was a hot take, and it still stands by it.
To this, alex_moukala said that before any other Final Fantasy title gets a remake, Final Fantasy 13 needs a remaster. Square Enix replied with an interesting statement that immediately piqued fan interest.
Any reason for a remaster instead of remake?
-Square Enix
Square Enix has already worked on various Final Fantasy remakes, so this teaser has some weight behind it. Also, it is important to note that Final Fantasy 13 re-releases were previously reported to be in the works.
Therefore, the studio could now be aiming for a complete remake. Fans are convinced that there’s more than meets the eye to Square Enix’s statement since this particular entry is still missing from PlayStation’s consoles.
Final Fantasy 13 sold over 7 million copies, making it quite the success story for such a divisive release.
Remaking the entry would also give Square Enix an opportunity to iron out many of the controversial elements. Since the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is practically rebuilt from the ground up, similar treatment could redeem Final Fantasy 13 in the public’s eye.
Currently, the team behind Final Fantasy 16 is working on two unannounced projects. A sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is also in the works, but not much else is officially known about future plans.
However, fans are now excited to hear more on this recently teased remake. Perhaps the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy will be up next to receive the full remake treatment.
