During our performance testing, the CPU cooler did not bottleneck the Ryzen 7 5700X3D processor, even under max load. Rather, the temperatures hovered around 64ยฐC, showing slight overclocking headroom.

Build Quality: Outside of its performance, the air cooler has sturdy build quality despite its lower price. For example, showcasing six 6mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes, 50 fins on the dual heatsink array, and a copper baseplate provide a longer lifespan and also help decrease the temperatures. We also liked the cooler’s high-pressure fans.

Aesthetics: Although the DeepCool AK620 CPU cooler has no RGB and is simple and minimalistic, it’s perfect for darker, silent PC builds. Moreover, the cooler is an outstanding choice for workstation PC builds due to its build and looks. While we would have loved slight illumination, the absence is to be expected with its lower price.

Although it doesn’t have the most acceptable looks, Nauman Siddique loved its sleek design and stated the following while reviewing the cooler:

โ€œThe DeepCool AK620 is a sleek and visually appealing 120mm air cooler, part of the DeepCool ecosystem, with a dual-tower design and high-quality build.”

Cooling Performance: The Thermalright Frozen Magic 360 Scenic V2 AIO cooler, while a budget cooler, provides outstanding cooling performance thanks to its 3x TL-B12W 120mm white fans running at 2,150RPM speeds. During our devoted performance testing, the cooler displayed slight overclocking headroom even under max load.

Awais Khan was astonished by the AIO cooler’s phenomenal cooling performance and lower price, making him state the following in his cooler review:

“This underdog has a high-performance capability, particularly on the latest platforms, and it does so without breaking the bank.โ€

Build Quality: With high-density aluminum fins, an aluminum radiator, and a copper baseplate, the AIO cooler has a sturdy build quality, not compromising its materials even under a smaller budget. We also loved the S-FDB V2 bearing fans that keep the noise levels minimum and promote a longer lifespan without causing issues.

Aesthetics: Aside from its thermals, the cooler has a gorgeous white design with slight RGB lighting around the pump. Moreover, the pump has an LED display, showcasing CPU temperatures and increasing the cooler’s value. So, if you’re building a white PC with the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, this cooler will be a perfect fit.

PRO TIP: The best way to install 360mm AIO radiators is to place them at the top with exhaust fans to create a chimney-like effect. However, depending on your PC case’s airflow, you can install the radiator at the front, too.

Buy It If

We took a few images of the AIO cooler during our dedicated review:

โœ… You’re building a white PC: Given its beautiful white block, radiator, and LCD display, the Thermalright Frozen Magic 360 Scenic V2 is the perfect choice for a white PC build incorporating the Ryzen 7 5700X3D processor.

โœ… You want the best bang for buck: If you care more about the price and performance value a CPU cooler provides, the Thermalright Frozen Magic 360 Scenic V2 AIO cooler should be your go-to choice because of its super-low price yet unbelievable cooling performance.

Don’t Buy It If

โŒ You need a darker variant for your PC build: If you’re building a darker PC on a strict budget and require an AIO cooler that keeps your CPU’s temperatures under control, then I don’t recommend buying this AIO cooler because it doesn’t have a darker variant to fit your PC build.

What Makes It The Best Value CPU Cooler For Ryzen 7 5700X3D?

The Thermalright Frozen Magic 360 Scenic V2 AIO cooler provides impeccable cooling performance with slight overclocking headroom. Moreover, it has a beautiful white design with slight RGB lighting and an LED display on the pump, increasing its value. Additionally, having a sturdier build quality, it’s the best value CPU cooler for the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU.

Benchmarks Of Our Picks

Here’s a list of the benchmarks we conducted to provide a listicle for the best CPU coolers for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU. These benchmarks show comparisons with other CPU coolers within the same price range.

CPU Cooling Terms To Look Out For

Given how important a CPU cooler is, it carries a lot of technical jargon that can seem a bit like gibberish at first glance. Here are their basic definitions:

  • Airflow: Refers to how air circulates inside the computer case to remove excess heat, with its efficiency measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM).
  • Heatsink: This is an inactive heat dissipation device featuring fins. It works by absorbing the CPU’s heat and transferring it elsewhere to keep the CPU cool.
  • Heat Pipes: These are thermally conductive cylinders containing a fluid, which moves heat from the CPU to the cooler’s fins where it can be dispersed.
  • Fins Per Inch (FPI): This metric denotes the density of fins within an inch of a heatsink or radiator in a cooling system, where a higher FPI suggests more efficient heat dispersion but might necessitate stronger fans for maintaining adequate airflow.
  • Overclocking: Involves enhancing the CPUโ€™s operating speed and voltage above the manufacturerโ€™s specifications, which typically requires advanced cooling solutions due to increased heat output.
  • Thermal Design Power (TDP): Indicates the maximum heat level that a CPU cooler needs to manage to maintain the CPU at safe operational temperatures.

My Strategy For Choosing The Top Coolers For Ryzen 7 5700X3D

When it came to finding the right CPU coolers for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, I stripped away the bells and whistles and focused on what really mattered. Here are the four main points I considered:

  • Cooling Power: The first thing I did was look at our thermal benchmarks. I needed coolers that could keep the Ryzen 7 5700X3D cool, not just on paper, but in real, demanding situations. My team and I tested all of these coolers to check their performance.
  • Noise: I didn’t want a cooler that sounded like a jet engine. It was important to find something that kept things quiet without compromising on cooling. We made sure to test the acoustic performance along with their thermals in our individual product tests.
  • Looks: Yes, performance is king, but I also know that the right cooler needs to look good in your setup. I kept an eye out for coolers that had a bit of personalityโ€”whether that’s through RGB lighting, unique design elements, or just a sleek look that complements your system.
  • Price vs. Performance: Lastly, I balanced the scales between cost and effectiveness. Throwing money at the most expensive cooler isn’t the way to go. Instead, I looked for coolers that offered the best performance for their price, ensuring you wouldn’t pay extra for negligible gains.
