This time around, they have released the Corsair Vengeance RGB, which incorporates a white coating to the already well-received looks of the Corsair Vengeance.

As mentioned previously, the Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB boasts a sleek white design, sharing the same characteristics as last year’s iteration of this variant. The RAM sticks do have RGB capabilities in place, which can be controlled using Corsair’s iCue software.

It is rated at a frequency of 6000MHz, which is more than enough for any practical use, such as gaming, and even for high-end productivity workloads. Adding on to that, The RAM uses a CL36 timing system, which is fundamentally superior to its predecessors.

At default, the RAM’s frequency is set to 4800MHz; however, this can quickly be changed however by turning on the AMD EXO profile in your computer’s BIOS settings.

Doing this nets you a working frequency of 6000MHz with 36-36-36-76 timings. These timings are pretty decent for RAM that functions at a base voltage of 1.35V. The RAM size is 32GB, which is enough for most consumers. This will provide you with consistent speeds throughout your gaming and work sessions.

To put it into perspective, the Corsair Vengeance RGB comes with a latency of 12ns, which is slightly higher than other RAMs on this list. Having said that, the RAM kit is by no means lacking when it comes to latency or performance, as seen in our benchmarks.

The minimum voltage that the RAM can use is 1.1V, with increases to 1.4V. The frequency varies depending on the power being pulled by the RAM itself. As for the overclocking part, Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB can definitely achieve it.

In our full review, we managed to overclock it to a frequency of 6800MHz, a substantial increase from its base frequency. During this, the timings do have to be tweaked, though, with the new timings being 36-36-36-76. These timings aren’t bad by any means, but they are lower than the base timings.

We also ran the same test with the overclocked settings, which did result in a slight performance increase. The input voltage has to be tweaked to 1.45V. Overclocking any piece of equipment does come with some instabilities, though. As for the Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB, it performed pretty well consistency-wise on these new speeds.

The Corsair Vengeance RGB comes with an incredible feature set, including an integrated temperature sensor, a frequency of 6000MHz as well as a well-equipped cooling solution. 

What We Disliked

If it was not already obvious, Corsair has not left us with a lot to complain about with the Vengeance RGB; however, one thing worth pointing out is its slightly higher price tag.

The latency on the RAM is 11ns, which is excellent for gaming and production purposes alike. Furthermore, G.Skill has used a CL32 clock for its internal timings.

The G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32GB (2x16GB) RAM features the Intel XMP 3.0 memory profile when using a 6000MHz effective frequency with 32-38-38-96 timings. The RAM itself runs at a lower all-around clock rate right out of the box.
