However, what’s surprisingly higher is its timing latency, that is, 40-40-40-77, it is undoubtedly the highest timing latency we have seen, but you cannot expect anything better than from DDR5 RAM that costs around $130.
Since the RAM is running at the standard DDR5 frequency, its input voltage is also at default, that is, 1.1V, which is really good because it not only ensures efficiency and low thermals but also gives you room to overclock the RAM if you want it to perform better than just 4800 MHz.
On the topic of overclocking, it should be kept in mind that the RAM does not come with a heat spreader. So, yes, its input voltage gives you plenty of room for overclocking, but the lack of a heat spreader means you cannot go too high, or else the RAM will begin to thermal throttle. However, you can still take it to somewhere around 5200-5600 MHz safely with the input voltage bumped up to about 1.25V, and you are unlikely to face any stability hiccups.
Since the RAM does not feature a heat spreader, it is obvious that it also features no RGB. In fact, it looks like those old-school black/blue/green PCB RAM that we used to have. AMD EXPO Vs. Intel XMP: What’s The Difference?
Changing memory profiles enables users to automatically overclock their RAM without manually changing the frequency, input voltage, and timing latency. Manually overclocking RAM is quite a difficult process, and one wrong configuration can lead to a plethora of issues. That’s why pre-configured memory profiles are such a useful feature, and that’s why basically every manufacturer incorporates them in their RAM.
For the longest time, Intel boasted about its XMP feature, which stands for Extreme Memory Profile. XMP works simply: users need to head over to the BIOS settings of their motherboard and enable the XMP profile, and that’s it; their XMP-enabled RAM will be overclocked to perform better than ever.
Well, at last, AMD has finally introduced a direct competitor to Intel XMP called AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking). In a nutshell, AMD EXPO works exactly like Intel XMP; both profiles swap out the default memory profiles that the RAM comes with and swaps in a much better-configured profile aimed toward higher performance, allowing users to overclock their RAM with just a single click.
Without these profiles, the RAM will be running at its default clock speed, which is 4800 MHz for DDR5. So, to achieve the higher clock speeds which are written on the box, you need to activate the XMP/EXPO profile from the BIOS.

Unlike the transfer rate, the lower the timing latency, the better the RAM is in terms of sheer performance. Power Consumption and Thermal Efficiency
