Xbox boss says the company will continue making single-player games.
Live service has become a business model, but not every game can benefit from it.
Microsoft has a great lineup of single-player games planned for this year and 2026.
Live service games have become a huge part of the gaming industry. While most audiences don’t prefer them as the market is already very saturated, companies are continuing when them, which even leads their focus away from single-player games.
However, the Xbox boss says that the company will continue making single-player games, as he doesn’t want every other title to be converted into a service game.
Why it matters: Despite many recent launches, live service has seen a huge dip in popularity, especially considering titles like Concord, Suicide Squad, Skull and Bones, and many others failed miserably.
Talking to the XboxEra podcast, Phil Spencer talked about how Xbox is continuing its focus on single-player games. He said that all of the games they showcased in their recent Developer Direct were single-player, and they’ll continue making them.
All of those (Dev Direct Announcements) were single-player games, they all have a beginning, middle, and end, as I didn’t want to see every game turned into service based
– Phil Spencer
Spencer further stated that they didn’t want to turn every game into live service because that is what the business model is nowadays. However, not all games can follow that model because all stories can’t be told in that way.
Xbox has a great roster of upcoming games
He then praised smaller, low-risk games that just take off and become hits like Grounded. He also discussed how long games take up so much time, and titles like Hellblade are perfect for people who prefer games that are quicker to beat.
Of course, Microsoft’s intention is clear as it has already announced some great single-player games. The company just released Avowed; Doom: The Dark Ages, Fable, and more games are on their way.

Neil Druckmann, the creator of The Last of Us franchise, revealed that he has no confidence in making sequels.
He doesn’t like to focus on what comes next in a game’s sequel.
Perhaps this is why The Last of Us Part 3 is still not out.
Neil Druckmann is behind games like The Last of Us. Some have claimed him to be the video game god, but he seems unsure of himself. While he is pretty confident in making a certain game, Neil doesn’t seem to have the confidence to make a sequel.
Why it matters: Neil Druckmann has received a lot of hate from the fandom due to The Last of Us Part 2, which divides the fans. Some liked the story, some didn’t, but the majority loved the first part.
TLOU 2 Received Negative Reception From Some Fans
During the recent DICE summit, Neil Druckmann was asked, “How do you and your teams approach character development over multiple games?” Neil said that he never thinks about multiple games and explained his approach.
The game in front of us is so all consuming. I think you’re jinxing yourself if you’re starting to think about the sequel when you’re working on the first game.
He further explained:
I just approach it as, what if I never get to do another one?
Moreover, Neil says that he doesn’t save any ideas for the future; if he has a cool idea, he will implement it into the game he is already working on. When working on a sequel, he gets confused about what to do with the story and often thinks of just killing all of the characters (RIP Joel).
Neil further explains that when the team was making Uncharted 1, they had no idea what to do with the sequel. They just figured it out when it was time to develop Uncharted 2 and it was the same with its sequel, as well.
Barlog, a fellow developer, was also sharing his experience, and to him, Neil responded that he doesn’t have the confidence for sequels.
I think for me that requires a level of confidence I just don’t have. Like this is going to be so successful, I know where this is going next. I’m like, I just want to focus on the next five days in front of me, let alone 10 years down the line.
What do you think about Neil Druckmann being less confident about making sequels? Share your thoughts in the comments section below or join the official Tech4Gamers forums.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released during the first week of the month.
It sold over a million copies in less than 24 hours of its launch.
Now, the studio has confirmed that the game has crossed over 2 million sales.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released earlier this month, and the game has seen massive success already.
The game sold over 1 million copies in less than 24 hours of its launch, 14 times faster than its predecessor. However, the game continues to shine, as it has been confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has sold over 2 million copies.
Why it matters: This is a massive success for the Warhouse Studio and everyone who has worked on the development of the title.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Sold Over 2 Milllion Copies – Source: Twitter
Just recently, the official Twitter account of Warhouse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has sold over 2 million copies in less than two weeks.
Two million copies in under two weeks! A toast to you all for making KCD2 a triumph!
-Warhouse Studios
This is indeed a massive milestone for the title as the first game in the franchise sold 1 million copies in around two weeks, while its sequel sold double the number of copies in less time.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Devs Feared Competing Against Assassin’s Creed Shadows
However, it remains to be seen if the game will continue to sell like this in the coming time, as March will be full of massive releases like Assassin’s Creed Shadows and others.
Still, the game’s success has been massive so far, and it has also given a great reminder to Embracer to continue working on great titles for fans.

I earlier tested Biwin NV7400 2TB NVMe SSD. It is among the fastest PCIe Gen4x4 storage drives on the market. This time around, I am looking at the DDR5 kit from Biwin. It is a Black Opal DW100 RGB DDR5 kit. These kits are available in white and black colors.
This is a flagship kit from Biwin and our sample comes with a tested speed of 8000MHz operating at tested 1.45V using tested timing of CL36. This would be an interesting comparison with the Teamgroup Xtreem 32GB DDR5 kit that I tested earlier. That kit has the same frequency, albeit loose timing, compared to the DW100.
The Biwin kit has vivid RGB lighting with 8 zones on the diffuser, which looks beautiful. This kit comes with 2 XMP profiles and 1 EXPO profile. It is good to see this kit supporting AMD EXPO at this speed.

How Is The Biwin Black Opal DW100 Different?
The Biwin Black Opal DW100 kit operates at 8000MT/s at CAS36 using 1.450V compared to 8000MT/s CAS38 on the Teamgroup Xtreem kit. It uses A-Die from SK Hynix, plus its PMIC is unlocked. Its performance is too good to ignore, and with stunning looks, solid build quality, and RGB backlighting, it is a complete package at your disposal.
Packing Box
Packaging Box (Image By Tech4Gamers)
This kit comes inside a rather bulkier box, unlike the majority of the kits. The packing box is finished in black. This is an RGB kit that is compatible with RGB sync technologies from motherboard manufacturers. The memory modules are nicely tucked inside the transparent container. This is a white color kit.
Design
Let’s start by stating the salient features of the kit:
This kit has two XMP 3.0 profiles
This kit has one AMD EXPO profile
The kit is a Non-ECC design
The kit has a stylish aluminium Heat spreader in white
It has an RGB Diffuser over the top with 8 zones
PCB is a 10-layer design
Kit uses SK-Hynix A-Die
The kit has a Limited Lifetime Warranty
Main Design (Image By Tech4Gamers)
Biwin is relatively new in launching their own RAM kits last year. This is why you will see only DDR5 kits listed. They provide SODIMM, UDIMM, and UDIMM with a heatsink. The Black Opal DW100 is their flagship offer at the moment, with a maximum speed of 8400 MT/s.
This series has 6000MT/s, 6400MT/s, 6800MT/s, 7200MT/s, 8000MT/s, 8200MT/s, and 8400MT/s. The kit we have got is tested for 8000MT/s.
Front View
Back View
Looking at the front side of the module, you can spot a white color aluminum alloy heat spreader. It has an electrophoresis coating. There is a Biwin branding in gray. The DDR5 text is also in gray. This kit has a dimension of 136.19×50.24×8.40mm. The height of 50.24 makes it a high profile.
The CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM DDR5 kits have a slightly longer height than this kit. You need to be careful in your homework with such high-profile kits from a clearance perspective. I like the idea of using a diffuser on one side over the PCB.
The backside of the module has a similar layout. You can see a label on the lower right that will void the warranty.
The serial number of this kit is BGBD3242A020198. What I am interested in is the part number. It shows BXL53280DW1-D36GW. Each module has 1Rx8 meaning a single rank design using 8 packages. This kit is made in China and has an unbuffered DIMM with a 288-pin layout.
RGB Diffuser (Image By Tech4Gamers)
Take a look at the RGB diffuser over the top of these modules. There is DW100 text printed in large font size in the center. I prefer no logo or text over the top for a clean look. The diffuser runs to the full length of the kit.
Closer look at the side (Image By Tech4Gamers)
You can spot the following:
Blue thermal pads
Black PCB
Diffuser extending over to the PCB top
PCB Layer (Image By Tech4Gamers)
I don’t open the kits for review. This kit has a 10-layer PCB design. The PCB is black. One side of the PCB is populated with the ICs and active circuitry, whereas the opposite end is blank and has a thick pad.
There are 4x memory chips on the left of the integrated PMIC chip and 4x memory chips on the right side of this controller. This gives a 16GB capacity overall in 1Rx8 using a 2G x 64-bit design.
A Word On Hardware
Biwin is a manufacturer of this kit. The memory chips are from SK Hynix using A-Dies. These are not M-dies which we usually see on CU-DIMMs now. The PMIC controller is from Richtek Power and is a device called PMIC5100.
The SPD hub is from Montage Technology Group using device SPD5118. Biwin has an integrated temperature sensor on the PCB.
This kit has two Intel XMP Revision 3.0 profiles and two AMD EXPO profiles programmed on it. These are:
XMP1: 8000MHz 36-48-48-126-174-120 at 1.450V
XMP2: 8000MHz 38-48-48-126-174-120 at 1.450V
EXPO1: 8000MHz 38-48-48-126-174-120 at 1.450V
HWInfo64 (Image By Tech4Gamers)
You can see HWInfo64 reading the temperature from both modules.

AIDA64 Memory Copy Benchmark
AIDA64 Memory Latency Benchmark
AIDA64 Memory Read Benchmark
AIDA64 Memory Write Benchmark
The Biwin DW100 has a remarkable performance across the board in this test suite. This is the first kit with the lowest latency. In my testing experience of over 15 kits on the Z790 platform, I was surprised to see high latencies on the Z890 platform, which should have been reduced.
Other Benchmark Software Results
More Benchmarks

Performance Test Memory Benchmark
SiSfot Sandra Overall Memory Score Benchmark
Super PI 2.0 Benchmark
Time Spy Extreme Benchmark - CPU Score
Now, I am showing results from the other 4 memory benchmarks, starting with the SiSoft Sandra Software. The Biwin DW100 kit is rocking on the top slot in SiSoft Sandra’s Overall Memory Score. It has shown competitive performance in the other tests.
Overclocking Test Results
The overclocking experience on MSI MEG Z890 Unify-X was going superbly when I pushed this kit to 8800MT/s at CL38 from the start. However, that motherboard died and took the CPU along. I ended up setting another test bench with ASRock Z890 NOVA WiFi and a new Core Ultra 265k. But it was my bad luck.
Despite maxed-out voltages and repeated attempts, I was able to push this kit to 8600MT/s at CL36. I know Unify-X, like Apex and Tachyon, is built for RAM overclocking, but I was hoping this ASRock board would allow me somewhat near result, if not better.
OC Benchmarks

❌You are on a budget: This kit, with its impressive speeds and timings, would cost you bucks as well.
Final Words
Biwin DW100 is a flagship DDR5 kit with a classy outlook, subtle RGB backlighting, and a solid tank build. The kit I have tested is 32GB capacity with a tested speed of a whopping 8000MHz using impressive 36-48-48-126-174-120 at 1.450V. These kits are available in 8200MT/s and 8400MT/s. These are not CU-DIMM.
These kits are available in black and white. This kit comes with two Intel XMP profiles operating at 8000MHz and 8000MHz, respectively. The difference is the CAS timing of 36 and 38, respectively. This kit also packs a single AMD EXPO profile at 8000MT/s and 38-48-48-126-174-120 timings with 1.450V.
One thing that could be considered is the overall height of 50.24, making it a high-profile kit. The overall dimensions are 136.19×50.24×8.40mm (LxHxW). This kit uses 2mm aluminum alloy material which has electrophoresis coating. Biwin has implemented a temperature sensor as well.
This kit has a 10-layered black PCB and uses SK Hynix A-Die chips. The PMIC is unlocked, and it is from Richtek Power. The SPD Hub is from Montage Technology Group. Biwin has used blue color thermal pads.
Biwin has implemented a three-fin cooling design providing more surface area for to ensure proper cooling. The RGB lighting has 8 zones with 10 modes providing 16.8M RGB colors.
This kit offers a top notch performance with good overclocking headroom. Just one click on XMP Profile1, and you are enjoying blazing-fast speeds with tight timings. I was able to run this kit at 8600MHz on the same XMP Profile 1 timing. This kit retails at £179.99 and is my top recommendation.

Tides of Annihilation is going to feature over 30 bosses and can take over 30 hours to finish.
The game is built in Unreal Engine 5 and has several weapons for its DMC-inspired combat.
With difficulty options and an Arthurian Legend basis, the game is targeting to captivate Western audiences in 2026.
Arguably, the most well-received announcement from the recent State of Play was the action-adventure title Tides of Annihilation.
The upcoming PlayStation 5 game developed by Eclipse Glow Studio is set in a mystical London and is inspired by Arthurian legends. And, if that doesn’t excite you, the latest information dump from the game developers will certainly pique your interest in the magical title.
Why it matters: PlayStation needs more acclaimed single-player titles, and Tides of Annihilation seems to be steering it in the right direction.
All the information from the developer Q&A.
According to a developer Q&A, Tides of Annihilation is going to be over 30 hours long and will feature more than 30 bosses in the storyline. In addition, the combat will be akin to Devil May Cry, allowing players to use their own creativity to deal with bosses with many weapons at their disposal.
The developers also revealed that players can use up to four weapons in Tides of Annihilation, ranging from fists to swords. The boss fights will be challenging especially if you choose to play on the hardest difficulty.
The action-adventure title also features some light RPG elements including but not limited to a skill tree that players can level up. Moreover, Tides of Annihilation will let you collect armor and cosmetic outfits to brighten up the experience.
Tides of Annihilation stars Gwendolyn in a magical London.
With Eclipse Glow targeting the Western audience, the game will be based on Arthurian legends and the Knights of the Round Table. But we’ll have to wait a little bit to see the single-player co-op adventure title in action, as the expected release is in 2026.
Tides of Annihilation showcased new gameplay recently that gave players a look at the Devil May Cry-inspired combat. Do you think the game will live up to its expectations? Tell us in the comments below or head to the Tech4Gamers forum for discussion.

Elden Ring Nightreign runs at native 4K resolution on the PS5 Pro.
This resolution requires trade-offs in terms of the frame rate, which typically stays at around 50FPS on the PS5 Pro.
Performance mode offers a more stable 60FPS, but it uses a dynamic resolution.
Last year, FromSoftware officially confirmed the return of Elden Ring after immense success with the IP. Dubbed Elden Ring Nightreign, this standalone title puts co-op-focused gameplay at the forefront, offering a fresh experience.
FromSoftware has also released a Network Test on consoles ahead of the release. The game has now been tested on consoles like the PS5 Pro, showing a native 4K resolution that struggles to maintain 60FPS.
Why it matters: The PS5 Pro was sold on the promise of 4K 60FPS gaming. To achieve these results, consumers paid a hefty $700 price for the hardware, but the results haven’t been as impressive as many expected.
Testing from ElAnalistaDeBits reveals that Elden Ring Nightreign runs at a typical resolution of 2160p in Quality mode on the PS5 Pro.
This resolution certainly offers an impressive level of visual clarity, but the trade-offs don’t take long to become apparent. As the frame rate analysis shows, the PS5 Pro usually runs the Network Test at around 50FPS.
The frame rate can even fall below 50, though this only happens during more intense scenes with plenty of dense foliage. This is where Performance mode comes in, offering a more stable frame rate while sacrificing image quality and resolution.
In general, the performance is not too different from that of Elden Ring on the PS5 Pro. Although the 4K native resolution is certainly impressive, it should be noted that FromSoftware’s latest RPG was a cross-generation title that supported hardware as old as the Xbox One and PS4.
Elden Ring Nightreign Is Very Different From The Traditional FromSoftware Offering
This is perhaps the major reason it can target native 4K resolution on the much more impressive PS5 Pro, but the unstable frame rate certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
The good news is that Elden Ring Nightreign is still a few months away, giving FromSoftware time for further optimizations. Whether this time will be enough to bring substantial improvements, however, remains to be seen.

Skyrim looks like a completely different game with 3,500 mods.
These mods improve every element of the RPG, including the lighting, textures, foliage, and more.
The Elder Scrolls 6 may be able to achieve similar visuals if Bethesda pushes its engine to its limits.
Very few games can rival Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in terms of modding. With over 2 billion mods downloaded across its 13-year lifespan, Skyrim truly stands in a league of its own.
These mods enhance various elements of the RPG, with one particular mod enhancing the visuals with path tracing. Improving the visuals further, a new video shows just how incredible Skyrim can look with a whopping 3,000 mods installed.
Why it matters: Modding continues to be one of PC gaming’s biggest strengths and videos like these highlight exactly why the PC community appreciates mods so much.
A recent video from Digital Dreams puts Nvidia’s flagship RTX 5090 to good use in Skyrim. Pushing this GPU to its limits, the YouTube channel demonstrates Skyrim’s next-gen visuals when combined with 3,500 mods.
These mods enhance the game’s textures, lighting, cloth surfaces, and more. The foliage also appears to be a far cry from anything possible on the officially released versions of Skyrim across all platforms.
Digital Dreams showcases various environments and terrains to drive the point home. Whether it be a sense of serenity conveyed by clear skies or the dullness exuded by deciduous trees, these mods bring the RPG’s open-world atmosphere to life like never before.
Smoke effects and reflective water surfaces are also impressive, making a blissful experience, particulalry for those who have a history with Skyrim. It goes without saying, but these visual upgrades come at a cost.
Only those with the best PC hardware can add this many bells and whistles to Skyrim, but there are still plenty of other alternatives for those hoping to achieve similar overhauls on more modest hardware.
The Elder Scrolls 6 Is At Least 2-3 Years Away
With The Elder Scrolls 6 currently in development, it will be interesting to see whether Bethesda can achieve similar visuals with its next official release.
The team has certainly set its sights on an ambitious RPG, but it will likely have no option but to push the Creation Engine to its limits if it hopes to rival the best of modern gaming. Meanwhile, those interested in this specific mod can check the YouTube video’s description for additional details.

MachineGames is ‘working on pretty cool things’, suggesting we might learn more about the studio’s next project soon.
The studio has multiple positions open to work on its next game, whether Quake 6 or the next Wolfenstein title.
Other rumors also point towards multiple Indiana Jones games and even a highly anticipated Quake reboot.
Now, the studio is already ‘working on pretty cool things’ after the game’s huge release. This declaration has already resulted in many rumors about MachineGames’ next endeavors.
Why it matters: As per past reports, MachineGames appears to have its hands full with multiple in-development projects. However, it might reveal details for its next big game soon, which is expected to be the next Wolfenstein or Quake 6.
MachineGames is seemingly already working on its next big project.
MachineGames’ Nicole Akerlid’s post on LinkedIn confirms that the studio is developing at least one game. The company has several open roles like artists, programmers, animators, and the like, suggesting the game might be far away from launch.
MachineGames has been developing a plethora of games even before Indiana Jones and the Great Circle dropped. So, the rumor mill for the next Wolfenstein has been active over the years.
Wolfenstein 3 is expected to continue the story of B.J. Blazkowicz and his family in the alternate grim history of the 1980s. We might even see online multiplayer if the past job listings are to be believed.
There have also been speculations for a Quake reboot in the past; the studio is also developing Quake 6 as well. Others argue that MachineGames might already be working on the next Indiana Jones title. Regardless, we might get more clues in the coming months.
What do you think MachineGames is cooking next after Indiana Jones’ successful launch? Is it a new Wolfenstein title? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Tech4Gamers forum.

The card outperforms the 4070 Ti Super by an average of 16.6%, making it a decent but unnecessary upgrade option. In Fire Strike Ultra test, it is 17% faster than the 4070 Ti Super and only 15% slower than the newly launched RTX 5080.
The RTX 5070 Ti is set to launch on February 20th, 2025, while the 5080 already launched last month. The specs for RTX 5070 Ti include 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, a 256-bit memory interface, 8,960 CUDA cores, and a bandwidth of 896 GB/s.
It is worth noting that these comparisons are based on synthetic benchmarks, which cannot wholly represent real-world performance. So, we might have to wait for gaming benchmarks to get concrete results.
Do you think the RTX 5070 Ti is a much better deal than the RTX 4070 Ti Super from the last generation regarding synthetic performance? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Tech4Gamers forum.

Days Gone Remastered has already drawn controversy from fans who wanted a sequel instead of a remaster.
Graphical comparisons show that Days Gone Remastered looks almost the same as the original game.
A remaster implies that Bend Studios is looking for a quick profit for the development of their next game.
Bend Studios can’t catch a break as the latest Days Gone Remaster has already caused enough controversy from fans. Players aren’t exactly pleased with another unwanted remaster and expected a sequel instead.
The early gameplay footage from the reveal at the PlayStation State of Play doesn’t help with the argument either. Days Gone Remasteredlooks nearly identical to the original game.
Why it matters: PlayStation’s first-party studios have repeatedly released useless remasters for games that aren’t even old enough to need one. Once again, fans are in disarray over the lack of visual changes for the remaster.
While the early footage is too less of material to give a proper verdict, the similarity is uncanny. There’s no lighting or texture change at all. PlayStation is quite notorious for altering the face models of protagonists in a remaster, but this time around, not even that change occurred.
The proper detailed analysis will be conducted once the game is released in April 2025. Still, according to fans, the $50 price tag for the standalone remastered isn’t deserving of these changes.
The only notable aspect of the remaster is the additional content, including Permadeath Mode, Horde Assault, and new accessibility features.
Days Gone Remaster Shows No Visuals Changes At All.
However, if there’s one thing to note, these remasters are usually a means to fund the relevant studio’s next game. This implies that Bend Studio is possibly working on a new title, which can potentially be a Days Gone sequel.
Insomniac Games did something quite similar to this in the past, and it’s no surprise that Bend Studios is following in their footsteps. Still, it’s mere speculation at this point, and there is no denying that this remaster was still unnecessary.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s writer, Daniel Vavra, stated that video games are more developed as products than movies.
He also implies that stories in most video games are bad.
He praised Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s plot and questioned why more games don’t have great narratives like Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been on a roll, and it hasn’t even been a month since the game’s launch. The title’s success has the gaming community talking, and the game’s writer has brought up some pretty interesting topics and remarks.
In his latest post, Daniel Vavra, the writer and director of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, discussed plots in video games. According to him, video games are more developed products than movies, yet the stories in most video games are bad.
Why it matters: As video games become more mainstream, their budgets and development scales are rising. However, with the increased budgets, studios now avoid creative risks and don’t innovate much with either the plot or gameplay.

Additionally, Daniel Vavra also said that one of the primary reasons why people like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is its story, apart from other factors. The game’s plot is found believable and entertaining due to its historical accuracy.
In the same thread, he also questioned why the industry lacks games with great plots like Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, or Metal Gear Solid.
The Witcher 3’s Storytelling Mostly Remains Unmatched To This Day.
The answer lies in the shift towards live-service titles since single-player games hardly make any money in this era. Moreover, most are still reluctant to focus on visual fidelity which has become a concern within the industry.
However, still in this era, video games have well-structured plots and well-written characters. Cyberpunk 2077 is a standout title and features some of the best narrative and story-building out of any medium.

A new rumor claims that Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 stocks will improve next month.
Currently, the GPU is being sold at scalped prices as the stocks are ridiculously low.
RTX 5080 is also feeling a similar issue although it’s not as bad as the flagship.
Ever since its release, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series has been hardly available for the general audience. Low stocks have led to scalpers selling the GPUs for insanely high prices, which has been highly disappointing for potential buyers.
However, a new rumor claims that within the next month, the RTX 5090 stocks are expected to boom, leading to the end of scalpers selling it at inflated prices.
Why it matters: Despite recent claims that stocks could take up to four months to normalize, most people will be glad to hear this new claim.
RTX 5090 stocks are rumored to be stupidly high from next month
MEGAsizeGPU is quite credible when it comes to leaking GPU information, so the speculation really holds weight. If the rumors are accurate, we may see better availability for the RTX 5090 starting next month.
The situation was so bad that the RTX 5090 was being sold at a scalped rate of over $9000 on eBay. Still, the stock availability is suffering big time although the prices have come down a bit.
On the paper launch of these GPUs, many Micro Centers reportedly got less than 5 RTX 5090 units. The case was also similar for the RTX 5080 as well. Nonetheless, if this new rumor is to be believed, it is better to wait for another month before investing in Nvidia’s latest high-end offering.
The RTX 5000 series is facing serious stock shortages.
For now, the GPUs are even facing driver issues that can lead to them getting bricked. The RTX 5090 has also become notorious for the melting connector issue. There have been a couple of reports of the RTX 5080 facing the same issue as well.
So, it is better to wait until Nvidia sorts these issues out. The best time to purchase the GPUs would be when the stocks are normal, and the technical issues are sorted out, especially now that the RTX 5000 Series costs a fortune already.
