So, all you need to do is enable the profile from the BIOS setting, and the memory will be running at 3600 MHz. By DDR4 standards, a transfer rate of 3600 MT/s is actually quite good.

So, what exactly is timing latency? Simply put, it is the amount of time the RAM will wait during different operations, and it is measured in clocks. This means that the higher the waiting time, the worse the RAM will perform. That’s why we talked about the timing latency of every RAM we selected in detail.
Timing latency is described with four numbers with dashes to separate them, like CL34-40-40-105, which is the timing latency of the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB. These four numbers describe the latency of different things, with the first one being the CAS or Column Address Strobe Latency.
The CAS latency describes the number of clocks the RAM will wait for before delivering the requested data. In our example, the Trident Z5 will wait for 34 clocks, which is actually quite good.
