The cooler comes with plenty of RGB on both the fans and the pump, which are always nice to see. In addition to all of that, it also has a separate VRM fan on the block, a surprising addition to such a budget-friendly package. The VRM fan can spin at a speed of up to 3000 RPM; however, its speed cannot be controlled separately, which means it’ll depend on the pump.

I’ve always been surprised by how well the original NH-D15 was able to keep up with current-gen air-coolers and I’m happy to report that their G2 LBC variant is even better. The cooler comes with two of Noctua’s NF-A14x25r fans with renowned SSO2 bearings. These fans offer a maximum speed of 1500 RPM, and an airflow of 155.6 mยณ/h while also keeping noise levels in check at just 22.4 dBA.
Combine that with its eight-heat-pipe design, and you get an air cooler that’s essentially unrivaled in terms of performance. Furthermore, Noctua has gone out of their way to ensure that installation doesn’t take more than a few steps, which I appreciate. The cooler also comes bundled with a 6-year warranty, but it’s safe to assume you probably won’t need that given the cooler’s already exceptional build quality.
