Final Verdict—What We Recommend?
RTX 4070 Ti Super: This is a great card on its own and it stood the test of time perfectly. Even with its older specifications, it showcased great performance. However, the most main issue for us is its high price. If all of which is being offered came with a reasonable price, this would’ve been an excellent card.
RTX 5070 Ti: This new release is still somewhat of a disappointment. Previously, newer cards offered significant improvements over their predecessors, but in this case, it only showed a slight edge from the RTX 4070 Ti Super. It would’ve been a great release had it shown higher performance in this same price tag.
Despite our general resentment towards the RTX 5070 Ti, we recommend it over the RTX 4070 Ti Super as it offers more. Even when its price will match the RTX 4070 Ti Super’s price, it’ll still be a more reasonable choice. However, if you already own an RTX 4070 Ti Super, upgrading to the RTX 5070 Ti may not be worth it.
RTX 5070 Ti handles faster data transfers as it has 896.0 GB/s bandwidth with 28 Gbps of memory speed, compared to RTX 4070 Ti Super’s 672.3 GB/s bandwidth & 21 Gbps speed. With upgraded RT cores, the RTX 5070 Ti performs better in ray tracing when compared to the RTX 4070 Ti Super, but the difference isn’t sky high. The RTX 5070 Ti is more suited for AI workloads because its tensor cores comprise 1,406 AI TOPS, which are higher than RTX 4070 Ti Super’s 641 AI TOPS. Surely, the RTX 5070 Ti is more future-proof when compared to the RTX 4070 Ti Super due to its newer Blackwell architecture, PCIe 5 support, DLSS 4, and AI-based technology. The RTX 5070 Ti’s DLSS 4 relies on AI for image upscaling and has multi-frame generation that outputs better framerates than the older DLSS 3 that RTX 4070 Ti Super uses.FAQs
