I’ve Been Using The DeepCool Macube 110 For A While Now: Here’s What I Think

Story Highlight
  • The DeepCool Macube 110 offers a refreshing, minimalist design with a strong focus on airflow and practicality, making it a great value option.
  • Its spacious interior and tool-less tempered glass side panel simplify building and showcasing your components, even without integrated RGB lighting.
  • While it has minor drawbacks like a slightly louder included fan, the Macube 110’s overall performance and price point make it a compelling choice for any builder.

Have you ever felt like the PC case market is a vast, echoing chamber filled with the same tired tropes?

Black boxes, tempered glass, RGB… it’s all starting to feel a bit déjà vu, isn’t it?

Well, fear not, fellow gamers, because DeepCool has thrown a stylish curveball our way with the Macube 110.

It’s a case that dares to stand out, offering a refreshing blend of aesthetics, airflow, and practicality, all without putting a dent in your wallet.

After spending a good few weeks wrestling components inside its surprisingly spacious enclosure, I’m here to share my hands-on experience with you.

Understated Elegance: A Design That Doesn’t Shout

The Macube 110 isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel.

It’s more like DeepCool took the wheel, gave it a fresh coat of paint, and added some seriously cool spinners.

To begin with, the first thing that grabs your attention is the clean, minimalist design.

It’s not overly flashy, but it exudes a quiet confidence.

The front panel is a lesson in understated grace, with a subtle textured finish that manages to be both eye-catching and fingerprint-resistant much to my relief.

Airflow Is King: Keeping Your Components Cool

Don’t let the subtle exterior fool you. The DeepCool Macube 110 is all about the airflow, and it makes no apologies for it.

The front panel, while seemingly solid, is actually ingeniously ventilated, allowing air to flow freely to the included 120mm fan.

The 120mm spinner that DeepCool ships the Macube 110 with. (Image Credits – Tech4Gamers)

However, if one fan isn’t enough for your fire-breathing CPU, you can easily mount another pair of 120mm fans or even a 240mm AIO.

DeepCool clearly understands the importance of thermal efficiency, and the Macube 110 provides a solid foundation for a well-ventilated system.

This focus on airflow is something I’ve consistently witnessed and praised in other DeepCool products, like their impressive CPU Coolers.

Room To Breathe: A Surprisingly Spacious Interior

Inside, the Macube 110 is surprisingly roomy for a mid-tower PC case.

There’s enough space to fit high-end GPUs like the RTX 4080 along with one of the best 240mm AIOs, and still have enough clearance to throw in at least a pair of the best high-capacity gaming SSDs to meet your storage and performance demands.

Cable management is also a breeze, thanks to well-placed grommets and tie-down points.

Of course, it’s always satisfying to build a gaming PC that looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside, and the Macube 110 makes that achievable even for novice builders.

Show Off Your Build: The Tempered Glass Window

One of the standout features of the Macube 110 is the tempered glass side panel (at least at this price point). It’s not just a slab of glass; it’s a showcase for your meticulously crafted PC build.

DeepCool has cleverly used a tool-less mounting system for the side panel, making it incredibly easy to remove and reinstall.

This is a godsend for enthusiasts like me who are constantly tinkering with their systems.

No more fumbling around with screws and risking scratches – just a quick release and you’re in.

A Refreshing Lack Of RGB: Embracing The Understated

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room – or rather, the lack thereof.

The DeepCool Macube 110 doesn’t come with any RGB lighting, which is to be expected because of its price bracket.

However, in a world saturated with RGB, I find it refreshing to see a case that focuses on the fundamental aspects, even if it is a by-product of cost-cutting measures.

But if the lack of RGB is a dealbreaker for you, you’re always welcome to add your own strips and fans.

However, for those of you who are like me and prefer a more subdued, yet timeless aesthetic, the Macube 110 represents a pleasant change of pace.

Minor Quibbles: Not Quite Perfect, But Close Enough

Of course, no product is perfect. Similarly, the DeepCool Macube 110 admittedly does have a few minor shortcomings.

For starters, the included 120mm fan is decent, but it’s certainly not the quietest fan on the market.

If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, you might want to consider upgrading it for a quieter alternative like the be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4, i.e., a high-performance 120mm PWM fan that received an award from us for being the Best Silent 120mm fan.

On top of that, while the case sports a decent number of drive bays (2x 3.5” + 2x 2.5” if you don’t use the extra space for a 240mm radiator), it might not be ideal for power-users and enthusiasts alike.

Then again, for the price that the DeepCool Macube 110 retails at, I might as well just be nitpicking.

DeepCool Macube 110: My Verdict

To conclude, I think the Macube 110 represents a desperately needed breath of fresh air for the PC Case market.

It offers a compelling combination of style, airflow, and practicality at a price that won’t break the bank.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the world of PC customisation, the DeepCool Macube 110 is definitely worth considering.

Wonder Woman Writer Says Cancelled Game Was “Dream Come True”

Story Highlight
  • Wonder Woman was reportedly shaping up to be a truly special title.
  • Famous comic book author Gail Simone has appreciated everyone involved in the development team.
  • She states that the developers were dedicated to making the best possible adaptation for the superhero.

DC’s Wonder Woman was expected to be one of the biggest additions to the ongoing superhero game renaissance, but Monolith Productions’ recent closure has shattered these dreams.

Wonder Woman’s promises of Batman Arkham-style combat and the Nemesis system will now remain unfulfilled. As the developers and everyone involved in the project come to terms with this news, a prominent writer has also shared her thoughts on the situation, stating that the game was a dream come true.

Why it matters: The comments have upset fans even further, with many lamenting the fact that Monolith Productions was potentially on the cusp of something groundbreaking.

Fable Delayed So It Can Launch Day One on PlayStation 5, Claims Insider

Story Highlight
  • An insider claims that Fable was delayed until next year so it can launch for PS5 on day one.
  • The game will also be polished and come out simultaneously on all platforms, further confirming it’s not an exclusive.
  • However, other rumors have clarified that the game was delayed because of major reworks and overhauls.

Fable was one of the most anticipated games set to launch later this year, so fans were quite upset to learn that the RPG was delayed to 2026. While Xbox did not specify why the reboot needs more time, rumors have painted quite an interesting picture.

A highly regarded industry insider, NateTheHate, has clarified that Fable might have been delayed so it can launch for PS5 on day one. The game is expected to come out simultaneously on all platforms now.

Why it matters: Ever since Fable’s delay to 2026 was officially announced, multiple insiders have come forward with convincing claims regarding the reason. Regardless, Xbox is quite impressed with the game’s progress.

Popular industry insider NateTheHate says that Fable was delayed to launch day one on PS5.

The insider on the ResetEra forum says that Xbox wants to release it on PS5 alongside Series X|S and PC, as well as polish it in the meantime. And since the PS5 launch was always meant for 2026, Xbox might have delayed it to satisfy its multiplatform strategy.

This similar stance has also been previously touted by a relatively unknown insider, @SmtihAlex15630, who claimed Fable was delayed to align its release date with the PS5. However, there have been other reports that have suggested Fable is in a much dire situation.

Another credible insider recently said that many technical aspects of the RPG are being overhauled, including the progression system.

Fable
Another string of rumors already confirmed that Fable is headed for day one PS5 launch.

Since there are conflicting but equally interesting reports from multiple insiders, it is best to view the delay with cautious optimism. Regardless, Fable will become a much better RPG with the 2026 launch.

Do you think the game was merely delayed for some touch-ups and day one release on PS5, or are there more problems hidden behind it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Tech4Gamers forum.

Insider Reveals Fable Delay To 2026 Due To Unexciting Gameplay And Technical Issues

Story Highlight
  • Insider clarifies that Fable’s delay to 2026 wasn’t due to its PS5 or Switch 2 release.
  • The game faces technical issues due to the Forza Tech engine.
  • Additionally, the gameplay felt unexciting, and the developers are reworking many features, including the progression system.

The reboot of one of the oldest Xbox RPGs is facing quite some difficulties. Initially slated for a 2025 release, Fable was pushed back to 2026 to give the developers more time with the game.

An insider has provided further insight into the situation, clarifying that the game’s delay had nothing to do with avoiding GTA 6’s release or its launch on PS5 or Switch 2.

Instead, the insider suggests that Fable’s development process might be troubled.

Why It Matters: Being one of the most anticipated titles for Xbox’s first-party studios, Fable has some serious expectations to look forward to. The troubled development implies that Fable might launch in a rough state.

According to Extas1s, studio Playground Games is facing technical issues with the game’s development. While previously, they’ve only worked on racing games, Fable is the first game outside of their expertise.

As such, the transition of the Forza Tech engine from racing games to an RPG title is seemingly rough. There’s no doubt that Fable looks absolutely gorgeous visually but it’s the gameplay part that lacks.

The early version of the game “was not very exciting,” and the developers are reworking many of the features. Moreover, the entire progression system is also being revised, which will take additional time.

According to the insider, the game is already entertaining, but they want to take it to the “next level,” seeing how studio Playground Games is ambitious about the project.

Corsair RX120 Max RGB Fans Review: More Than Just Flashy

I tested the QX120 and RX120 fans from Corsair earlier. This time, I am looking at high-performance fans named iCUE Link RX120 Max RGB. The salient feature of these fans is their 30mm height or thickness compared to standard 25mm fans.

The very reason for this 5mm extra height is to provide enough air pressure to sustain high airflow despite high resistance to flow like on radiator. Corsair seems to be enriching its product line to compete against the 30mm fans from the competition.

Why Trust Tech4Gamers
  • Nauman Siddique is our hardware expert who has been testing graphics cards, motherboards, processors, and AIOs for more than a decade.
  • 80+ cooling solutions tested and reviewed by our team of hardware experts (Tech4Gamers Team).
  • 900+ hours spent testing different coolers and fans for our reviews.
  • Objective testing criteria (See how we test CPU coolers).

At Tech4Gamers, ensuring you get reliable information is our priority. That’s why every hardware round-up undergoes a meticulous review process by our team of experts and editors. Each review is carefully examined against our strict editorial guidelines, guaranteeing you trustworthy insights you can depend on.

The building block of these Max fans is the same as that of RX120mm fans. They use basic blade geometry, though, with larger fins and tail sections to generate more airflow. They also come with the same Magnetic Dome Bearings.

In this review, I will be testing the triple fan pack, which carries a USD 129.99 MSRP.

Key Takeaways

  • The Corsair iCUE Link RX120 Max RGB fans are high-performance, 30mm-thick cooling fans designed for powerful airflow, reduced cable clutter, and seamless integration within the Corsair iCUE ecosystem.
  • You should buy the Corsair iCUE Link RX120 Max RGB fans if you want an excellent, easy-to-cable-manage set of fans that tick all the right boxes.
  • You should not buy the Corsair iCUE Link RX120 Max RGB fans if you are on a budget or if you are not specifically interested in the iCUE Link ecosystem.

Fans

Main Design
Main Design (Image By Tech4Gamers)

Each fan has 7x enlarged blades. The purpose is to generate and sustain high air volume. These blades are made of fiberglass-reinforced LCP material. This construction prevents the bending of the blades during varying static pressure under operation, particularly on the radiator. The design feature includes:

  • Optimized angle
  • Airfoil Shape
  • Edge Curvature

The center on the back has Corsair branding. The frame has 9x fins, which Corsair mentions as air guides (Hello Noctua!). The fins’ curvature design helps to provide a focused airflow through the fans.

The mounting corners have ring-designed anti-vibration pads. The main frame has insets on the left and right sides of these corners, which is a structural design.

The arrow markers provide visual aid to the novice users. They provide the direction of airflow through the fan and the direction in which blades spin.

Two sides of the fan have two ports. One is active, and the other is passive. There is a magnetic connection between any two fans using these ports.

A total of 4x connectors are provided. Two are to be used on active connection ports, and two on passive connection ports.

The left side connector has active connection and it bridges two fans on active side. The right side connector has no active connection and it only connects two fans for rigidity.

In the second picture, I am showing how two fans interconnect using these connectors.

iCUE Link System

It is time to discuss the iCUE Link system.

Corsair has provided an iCUE Link system hub with a 3 fan kit. This hub is not included in a single fan kit. This hub has two active iCUE Link Ports to which you can connect multiple fans and supported coolers. This hub is powered by a 6-pin PCIe connector to deliver up to 150W power.

The reason for the 6-pin PCIe connector is the high power requirement per hub to power multiple components. The hub is connected to the motherboard using a USB 2.0 connector. This hub is magnetic for easy installation in the case.

The kit comes with two iCUE Link cables, a 6-pin PCIe connector cable, and a standard 9-pn USB 2.0 connector cable. The hub is connected to the PSU, motherboard and other Corsair components. Complete control of the attached components is done via this hub using iCUE software.

The second picture illustrates the integration of the iCUE Link system using both iCUE Link cables.

Quick-Turn Screws (Image By Tech4Gamers)
Quick-Turn Screws (Image By Tech4Gamers)

Corsair has provided quick-turn screws. They are easy to use and can install the fans in a few rotations compared to standard screws.

iCUE Software

These fans are regulated by iCUE Link software, which you can download from the Corsair website. You can use this software to update the firmware on the iCUE Link Hub.

You can use the wizard to let iCUE identify all connected system hubs and the fans on each hub. You can arrange these fans in the order you need. The pre-defined fan profiles don’t work for speed control. You would need to create a custom fan curve for this purpose.

RGB Lighting

Lighting was controlled using iCUE Link software. Here are a few pictures:

Thermal Testing

I have used below mentioned configuration to test the performance of these fans: –

Here is the settings table for testing:

All Cores Auto, Stock
VCore (V) Auto
PBO Enabled
Power 243W
Thermal Paste Noctua NT-H2
Test Run Time 30 minutes CINEBENCH R23.2
Idle Time 10 minutes
Fan/Pump Speed 100% PWM Duty Cycle
Monitoring Software HWInfo64

Here is the final test build for the RX120 Max fans:

The following fans are used for the comparison:

Thermal Test Results
Thermal Test Results With 50% PWM (Image By Tech4Gamers)

The first test was done with the PWM duty cycle at 50%. You can see that RX120 Max RGB and NF-A12x25 PWM fans are competitive. However, Noctua fans have the advantage of low noise output.

Thermal Test Results With 100% PWM
Thermal Test Results With 100% PWM (Image By Tech4Gamers)

All four fans were in the same range. Yet again, Noctua fans have upper hand being the lowest noise producer.

Thermal Test Results With Normalized Noise @ 38 dBA

The real test of steel is noise normalized. Fans were set to operate at 38 dB(A). RX120 Max fans have a better performance compared to RX120 fans. However, Noctua fans are unrivaled.

PWM Range

The following is the PWM range along with the RPM:

PWM (%age) Speed (RPM)
20 390
30 597
40 804
50 1009
60 1199
70 1408
80 1595
90 1803
100 2013

Should You Buy It?

Buy It If

✅You plan to get the iCUE Link System: These fans should be on the list if you aim for the Corsair iCUE Link system.

✅You want the bestperforming fans within the Corsair Ecosystem: The iCUE Link RX120 Max RGB fans are high-performance fans in the Corsair lineup.

✅You want to reduce the cable clutter: The Corsair iCUE Link system provides a single cable connection for the internally daisy-chained fans.

Don’t Buy It If

❌You don’t have an iCUE Link System: If you are not interested in using an iCUE Link system, then drop these fans.

❌You want direct control: These fans are digitally regulated via software. You do not have direct control over the speed and lighting.

Final Words

Corsair has set a building block in the form of QX120 fans, and the latest iterations in different categories have seen iCUE Link system integration with all these fans. However, RX120 Max series fans are the epitome of Corsair craftsmanship. These are 120x30mm size fans.

Given their size and price, they might not be mainstream fans, but they aim at the performance segment with no compromise. These fans feature 8 RGB LEDs for vivid backlighting controllable via iCUE Link software. As is the case with other RX and QX series fans, these fans also utilize the iCUE Link system hub and iCUE Link cables for digital connectivity.

You can’t use these fans as a standard replacement for any other 120mm fan since these don’t have standard 4-pin PWM or 3-pin DC connectors. These fans are available in a 3-fan kit and a single fan kit. The 3-fan kit comes with a system hub and related cables.

These fans use Magnetic Dome Bearings and are rated for a maximum speed of 2000 RPM, generating 71.3 CFM airflow at 4.16mmH₂O static pressure and producing 29.5 dBA sound level. The enlarged blades are made of glass fiber-reinforced LCP material for added strength and maximum airflow, particularly when installed on the radiator.

The frame of these fans is designed to accommodate maximum blade radius. Corsair has also used new Quick Turn Screws that may take more power, but in only 2-3 turns, the fans are installed. These fans are daisy-chained using magnetic interconnects with internally placed cables.

One cable is needed to control all three fans in a kit via the system hub. This is as simple as it could get from Corsair. The fans come with a 5-year warranty.

Steam Deck Hit Major Milestone; Sold Nearly 4 Million Units

Story Highlight
  • Valve’s Steam Deck is estimated to have sold 4 million units since its release in 2022.
  • PC handhelds have sold nearly 6 million units in total over the past three years.
  • Combined sales of 2 million units across the market are expected again this year, which may push Valve’s hardware sales to 5 million.

The Steam Deck has often earned the title of the best modern handheld due to its balanced hardware and Valve’s software support. Now sporting an OLED screen, Valve’s handheld is better than ever and continues to impress.

Sales estimates also show impressive results, putting the hardware at nearly 4 million units sold.

Why it matters: The portable hardware launched three years ago, introducing a brand new concept to the industry. Needless to say, Valve has succeeded with its debut portable gaming machine.

Steam Deck
The Steam Deck Offers A Taste of PC Gaming In A Console-Like Package

While these figures might seem inconsequential compared to Nintendo’s nearly 150 million Switch sales, PC handhelds have never been in a better position.

Data from analysts suggests that around 6 million handhelds will be sold across the market between 2022 and 2024. These 6 million units were spread across the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, MSI Claw, and Lenovo Legion Go.

To nobody’s surprise, the Steam Deck accounted for the lion’s share of the 6 million figure. Moreover, analysts believe all four handhelds will sell another 2 million units by the end of 2025.

It should be noted that other hardware, including Chinese handhelds, were not included in these figures. In the grand scheme of things, however, Valve’s sales figures remain impressive, especially considering the company’s focus on software.

MSI Claw Gaming Handheld
Alternatives Like The MSI Claw Would Not Exist Without Valve’s Success

The Steam Deck ultimately brings more people into the Steam ecosystem, so the 4 million number is by no means small.

Valve has also discussed the Steam Deck 2 on multiple occasions. The company intends to deliver a major leap next generation, so the original hardware will likely stay on the market for an additional year or two.

DC’s Wonder Woman Game Cancelled After 4 Years; Studio Also Shut Down

Story Highlight
  • Warner Bros has scrapped Wonder Woman.
  • The game was originally announced in 2021 and was said to be rebooted last year.
  • The publisher has also shut down Monolith Productions, the team behind Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.

DC’s Wonder Woman game was announced four years ago at The Game Awards, promising the iconic character’s first major solo game. Led by the team behind Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, Wonder Woman promised a single-player experience incorporating the Nemesis system and Batman Arkham-like combat.

However, the team failed to share anything substantial about the project to date. It was recently said that the game was stuck in development hell, and the latest scoop states that Warner Bros has now axed the project completely.

Why it matters: Warner Bros’ superhero titles are currently struggling to impress audiences. Both Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad have been unable to meet expectations, but Wonder Woman could have changed things for the better.

As Jason Schreier reports, the game has just been cancelled. The worst part about this report is the fact that Warner Bros is shutting down Monolith Productions.

For context, the team celebrated its 30th anniversary recently. It was also famous for incredible gameplay mechanics like the patented Nemesis system, which has yet to be replicated to this day.

James Gunn recently confirmed that he met NetherRealm and Rocksteady to discuss future games. Because Warner Bros still owns the Nemesis system patent, this mechanic could show up in future titles, albeit without the leadership of Monolith Productions.

Wonder Woman Game Cancelled
Jason Schreier Shares Update On Wonder Woman | Image via Twitter

Since Jason Schreir’s track record is practically flawless, the cancellation is all but confirmed. The report also states Player First Games and WB San Diego have been shut down.

More details on this cancellation are expected in the coming days. Perhaps Warner Bros. made the decision because Monolith Productions was unable to reach a satisfactory vision for the title.

While this would make the cancellation somewhat easier to accept, Monolith Productions’ closure will be a major loss for the industry. What are your thoughts on this decision? Let’s discuss this in the comments and on the Tech4Gamers Forums.

Ghost Of Yotei Creator Says The Game Will Continue To Push Both Creatively And Technically

Story Highlight
  • In a new interview, the Ghost of Yotei creator talks about how they intend to push creatively and technically with the sequel.
  • They also intend on innovating rather than chasing industry trends.
  • The creator added that before Ghost of Tsushima, there weren’t many games set in Japan during that specific era.

Ghost of Yotei has become one of the most anticipated games of 2025. In a year where PlayStation first-party games are already scarce, Ghost of Yotei has some high expectations to look forward to.

This is especially true considering how well players received the first title in the series. The game’s creator talked about how they’ll continue to push in every department with the sequel and would innovate rather than chase trends.

Why It Matters: Building upon an already perfect piece of work artistically is often challenging, especially because of the risk of innovation.

In a new creator-to-creator interview, Brian Fleming talked with Nicolas Doucet, the creator of Astrobot, about certain game development procedures and problems. He discussed how they intend to improve with the sequel in every department.

you want to continue to really push creatively, technically as storytellers, as artists.

Moreover, the two creators also talked about how they’d want to progress further on their previous work and still progress rather than chasing trends, which is what most studios do nowadays.

Sucker Punch Intends To Expand Ghost Franchise Further

Brian also mentioned that at the time they made Ghost of Tsushima, there weren’t many games set during that era in Japan. The game’s success inclined other studios to follow the same path and chase the ‘success bandwagon’, just the thing they don’t want to do.

Fable Delayed To 2026; Xbox Studio Head Says They’ll Be Giving The Game More Time

Story Highlight
  • Fable has now been delayed to 2026.
  • Xbox Studio Head Craig Duncan says they’ll be giving Fable more time but are happy with the progress.
  • Meanwhile, brand new gameplay footage was released showcasing combat and breathtaking visuals.

Since taking the publisher route and undergoing multiple acquisitions, Xbox has tons of first-party releases planned for 2025. However, Fable is arguably their biggest release, an IP that hasn’t received a new mainline entry in over a decade.

Developed by Playground Games, Fable was initially scheduled for a 2025 release. However, the game has now been delayed to 2026.

Why It Matters: 2025 was looking like a huge year for Xbox, and Fable was considered its biggest release. The game delay might be disappointing for Xbox fans.

In an official Xbox podcast, Craig Duncan, head of the gaming giant studio, announced the delay.

We are actually going to give Fable more time. It’s going to ship in 2026 now

The studio head also added that they’re excited about Playground Game’s progress with the title, and even if the news isn’t what people want to hear, the delay will be worth the wait.

So far, there hasn’t been a single miss in Playground Games’ catalog. Since this will be their first venture into the RPG genre, Fable’s delay makes sense. With high expectations and such a long hiatus, the developers are taking their time to perfect their craft.
