How Robux Define The Roblox Experience For All Players

Story Highlight
  • Robux serve as the in-game currency of Roblox.
  • They allow players to buy customization, bonus content, and a lot more.
  • Because of their advantages, Robux enhance the overall experience for players.

Roblox, similar to other games like Minecraft, offers a gateway into a world of endless possibilities. Between obstacle courses, exploration, and building, there is no end to the things possible in the Roblox universe.

At the center of this experience lies the game’s signature currency, Robux, which gives players access to all types of items, including game passes, avatar upgrades, private servers, and even early access to exclusive content.

Simply put, Robux unlock the true potential of Roblox, making it important to find a secure and convenient way to buy a Roblox Robux gift card through a trusted digital marketplace.

Why it matters: Microtransactions are common across nearly all games today, and Roblox’s implementation is one of the industry’s most popular.

Why Roblox Players Need Robux

Roblox
Roblox Has Millions of Active Players

By nature, Roblox is free to play, but having access to Robux unlocks a new level of fun in the game.

Perks like access to limited-edition outfits, VIP areas in games, and additional animations are just a few of the things that make buying Robux so worth it. Whatever you decide to do in Roblox, having Robux on hand is never a bad idea.

Unlock Game Passes And Go Premium

Some of the best games on Roblox offer Game Passes. These serve as special upgrades that allow players to unlock bonus content, faster progress, or exclusive perks. Essentially, Game Passes can totally change the gameplay experience.

Of course, most of these upgrades require the use of Robux, making this currency a must-have for those hoping to get ahead of the competition.

Customizing Roblox Like A Pro

Customization is a major part of all games today, and Roblox is no different. Between different clothes, accessories, faces, hats, emotes, and animations, the game has plenty of variety to offer.

Many of these cosmetic upgrades are also community-created, so purchasing them through Robux helps the community directly. Whether it be a slick ninja outfit or a glowing sword, practically everything in the game becomes easy to access with this currency.

For regular Roblox players, Robux are an unavoidable part of the experience. Fortunately, digital marketplaces like Eneba offer incredible deals and make it easy to stock up on Roblox Robux without breaking the bank.

Discord Nitro: Do Gamers Actually Need The Subscription?

Story Highlight
  • Discord is bigger than ever today, and even offers an optional subscription.
  • Discord Nitro brings perks like animated avatars, larger file sizes, and more.
  • However, not everyone needs to buy this subscription, and basic users are better off without it.

Discord has grown tremendously over the last few years, becoming the platform of choice for millions looking to chat, play games, or hang out with like-minded people online.

As part of its services, the platform also offers the Discord Nitro subscription, one that has left users divided. While many see it as a natural expansion of the platform, others believe it serves no real purpose.

Why it matters: Discord Nitro makes millions of dollars for the platform each month, prompting interest from users.

What You Get

Discord Nitro
Discord Nitro Has Made A lot of Money For The Platform

Like any enticing subscription, Discord Nitro offers a lot. Between custom and animated emojis, HD streaming, bigger file upload sizes, and animated avatars, Discord Nitro gives its users exactly what they want in many ways.

These perks are particularly handy for creators or streamers running large servers since they can streamline file sharing, make streaming smoother, and make server branding more appealing.

However, everyday users may not have as much to gain. Sure, uploading large files is great, and everyone wants a custom avatar, but these perks are non-essential at the end of the day.

Fortunately, for those still looking to subscribe, making an Eneba – Discord Nitro gift card purchase can make the process a lot easier. Instead of committing to auto-renewing payments, grabbing a gift card lets users sample the aforementioned perks without worrying about unexpected charges.

Status Symbol or Utility?

To get the obvious out of the way, the Discord Nitro badge definitely makes a difference. Among heavy users of the platform, it stands as a premium symbol, and people certainly notice it.

Similarly, using custom emojis outside home servers can be seen as a status symbol of sorts. Discord Nitro users can spam their favorite memes wherever they go, giving many all the reason they need to buy a subscription.

However, for more casual Discord users, the novelty of these features will hardly matter and serve as a luxury rather than a necessity.

Who Benefits Most

Discord
Discord Has Become a Fan-Favorite Over The Years

Clearly, Discord Nitro isn’t for everyone. More enthusiastic users of the platform are likely to find the subscription more useful, with the file-sharing and additional features being a major incentive in this case.

On the other hand, those who use the platform occasionally will likely find that it works just fine without Discord Nitro.

This means that Discord Nitro can be both a status symbol and a useful tool, depending on the user.

Those looking to try the service for the first time to see what the hype is all about can also check out a Discord Nitro gift card from a platform like Eneba for a commitment-free experience.

How Gamers Can Save As Much Money As Possible

Story Highlight
  • Gaming has become considerably more expensive in recent years.
  • Utilizing subscriptions can be a great way to save money for those on a strict budget.
  • Monitoring discounts, using gift cards, and buying games a few months after release can also help save gamers a lot of money.

With games becoming more expensive, consoles seeing price increases several years into their lifespans, and the current economic outlook of the world, gaming is no longer an extremely affordable hobby. In fact, buying games has become more challenging than ever, and it doesn’t help that there is an abundance of platforms and content to choose from right now.

Fortunately, gamers can always count on Steam sales for some savings, and one way to complement this strategy is to buy Steam gift card. However, there are several other ways gamers can save money.

Why it matters: Gaming can be as expensive as a person wants, so knowing when and where to spend money is important.

Subscriptions Bring The Value

game-pass-feat
Game Pass Offers Instant Access To Hundreds of Games

Gaming subscriptions easily offer the most value for those on a budget. Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and EA Play offer access to hundreds of games, with Xbox’s subscription even coming with big hitters like Doom: The Dark Ages on day one.

Elsewhere, these subscriptions offer extra discounts, cross-platform syncing, and more for user convenience. When combined with a prepaid gift card, the savings are practically endless.

Why Gift Cards Are Important

Gift cards are essential today for any gamer. A Steam gift card, for instance, allows gamers to load funds into their wallets and prevent overspending. Similarly, these gift cards can be used to gift a fellow gamer without worrying about region locks or payment compatibility.

Platforms like Eneba make the process of purchasing these cards incredibly smooth, resulting in a win-win for gamers. Moreover, these cards can be used at any time, giving users complete control over their spending.

Must-Haves For Even More Savings

Smart Spending Comes In Handy On All Platforms

Tools can also come in handy when trying to make smart decisions. A price tracker monitoring game discounts, for example, can be perfect when you want to buy a game but can’t quite pay full price.

Similarly, game library managers can prevent duplicate purchases, and frame-rate monitoring tools can help adjust performance to stop needless hardware upgrades. Once these strategies are paired with a wallet card, the toolset is ready to be optimized further.

Ultimately, gamers should aim to spend as carefully as possible, and this is why prepaid cards are so important. Digital marketplaces offer incredible deals on such options, making them quite useful for all gamers on a budget.

Are Zelda Games Becoming Too Open-World For Their Own Good?

Story Highlight
  • The latest Zelda games have taken the series to an open world format.
  • Although this shift has done wonders for the IP, it still leads to a sense of unfocused design compared to past titles.
  • Both classic and new Zelda games appeal to different audiences.

For decades, The Legend of Zelda has been Nintendo’s flagship franchise, blending tight dungeon puzzles, epic boss fights, and exploration to keep players hooked. However, Nintendo changed everything with Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, pushing the series into full-blown open-world territory.

Although both games have been largely successful, the open-world formula has not been everyone’s cup of tea. Many have even raised concerns over the series becoming too open-world for its own good.

Why it matters: Open-world games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Witcher 3 defined a full generation of games. However, open-world fatigue has also set in after the slew of games looking to recapture their success.

The Big Shift

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Nintendo Switch
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Sold Millions of Copies In 2023

Classic Zelda games followed a set formula and did so well. Players explored regions in an intended order, tackled themed dungeons, and acquired key items that unlocked new areas.

This changed with Breath of the Wild, which practically let players do anything at any time. The world was theirs to do with as they wished, portraying a sense of freshness and liberation rarely seen in other titles.

Unfortunately, some fans thought this gave the game a feeling of aimlessness. In a way, Zelda traded its carefully-crafted nature for freedom. This bold move worked for some, but for others, it was a departure from a formula that did not need changing.

For those yet to jump into Hyrule’s massive world, Nintendo eShop Gift Cards US are the perfect buy to grab the game or its downloadable content without needing a traditional payment card.

Too Much Freedom?

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Nintendo Switch
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Almost Won GOTY Two Years Ago

One of the core issues with open-world Zelda is the lack of guided progression. For instance, many players skipped major mechanics or abilities in Tears of Kingdom because they didn’t explore certain parts of the game.

Such instances can lead to the experience feeling disappointing and alienate fans who grew up with classic Zelda titles. Games like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess guided players through memorable moments like the first encounter with a Staifos or unlocking Epona.

On the other hand, such moments in modern Zelda games can sometimes feel random and forgettable. Open-world fatigue also sets in rather quickly, with the core experience becoming repetitive sooner than one would want.

Is Bigger Always Better?

There’s no denying that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are technical marvels. Few games make exploration as seamless or vertical as these games, but there is something to be said about the sacrifices made to achieve said exploration.

It’s clear that open worlds don’t need to be pushed into every game. In fact, many are now starting to favor smaller worlds that are more densely packed. Zelda’s case, however, is a bit more complicated.

The preference between traditional and open-world experiences varies from person to person. Fans are clearly split, so it will be interesting to see where Nintendo goes from here.

Anyhow, whichever style of Zelda game you prefer, platforms like Eneba make it easy to recharge Nintendo gift cards for game or extra content purchases without the hassle of traditional payments.

Battlefield 6 Beta Hits 473K Players on Steam; Gamers Stuck In Long Queues Again

Story Highlight
  • The beta of Battlefield 6 has reached a new all-time high of 473K players.
  • This has caused thousands of players to wait in queues again.
  • The primary cause of the sudden increase in the player count is the weekend and the fact that early access has ended.

Battlefield 6 Beta launched to around 300K players on launch. As it was a beta, EA perhaps didn’t expect this many players to test the game. That is why thousands of players were stuck in queues and had to wait for hours before getting a chance to experience the goodness of Battlefield.

The developer took notice instantly and tried to strengthen the servers, making the queue shorter and shorter. However, the game has just crossed 473K players on Steam, causing many to be stuck in a long queue again.

Why it matters: Companies don’t expect hundreds of thousands of players to test a game’s beta, as such an occurrence is infrequent.

Battlefield 6 Beta Players

Recently, the game reached a new all-time high of 473,508 players on Steam. This is mainly due to the weekend, as many players were unable to play the beta. Another thing worth noting is that many fans were unable to get the early access code to play the game on August 7th and 8th.

With early access over and it not being a weekday, the new peak makes total sense. Also, given how the player count has been increasing, it won’t be surprising to see it rise again shortly.

However, this may frustrate players as they have to wait for a while again. EA may have already taken notice of the situation and could be increasing the capacity of servers at the time of writing, but the company has yet to confirm it.

The beta has received a lot of positive reception, but there are some concerns. Many have reported that the game is struggling to run on older Ryzen CPUs despite meeting official system requirements. Another primary concern is the necessity of secure boot, as even with it, the game was filled with cheaters on day one.

What are your thoughts on it? Have you tried the beta yet? Share what you think with us in the comments section below or join the official Tech4Gamers forums for discussion.

A Modder Has Upgraded a Steam Deck OLED With 32GB of RAM

Story Highlight
  • Youtuber SlickBuys Mods and Repairs was able to double the Steam Deck OLED’s RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB.
  • This is the first reported case of a successful RAM increase for this handheld console.
  • The total cost for the service is estimated to be around $200.

Isaac, the owner of the SlickBuys Mods and Repairs channel, demonstrated on YouTube how he increased the RAM on the Steam Deck OLED to 32 GB. This is a significant milestone because the capability of increasing the amount of RAM in Valve’s console has not been reported until now. For the most demanding users, 16 GB of RAM may prove insufficient. Isaac is a qualified technician who provides an upgrade service to his users or anyone else who discovers that additional RAM is now possible.

Isaac describes in the YouTube video how he makes a living by performing various types of repairs and modifications. Yes, the most common and requested are those pertaining to portable consoles. That’s why he’s spent years listening to his customers’ pleas to increase the RAM capacity of the Steam Deck OLED, which was previously impossible.

steam deck
Steam Deck.

He now has access to appropriate memory modules with a 32 GB density, making this possible. It’s crucial to note that the Steam Deck OLED employs RAM chips soldered directly to the motherboard, which necessitates additional effort.

The console must be disassembled in its entirety in order to be modified. The board must then be heated to 130 to 150°C using hot air at 350°C. This helps in the desoldering of the original modules, which have a combined capacity of 16 GB. The new chips, which give the Steam Deck OLED a total capacity of 32 GB, are then soldered to it once it has been cleaned.

Isaac has confirmed that he accepts foreign orders and demonstrates how the system works with the 32 GB detected. The greatest issue is the pricing. He estimates that the 32 GB of memory costs approximately $110. As a result, the ultimate price of this service will be determined by his desired rate of pay for the work.

That’s why he asked users for feedback on how much he should charge for the service. Ordering this type of service will cost around $200. That’s a lot of money, but it’s less than other companies would demand to duplicate it, which is a relief.

Ubisoft Announced Far Cry TV Show in the Works at FX in a Now Taken Down Article

Story Highlight
  • Ubisoft announced a Far Cry TV Show at FX, as reported in an article that is now down.
  • The show is an anthology drama co-created by Rob Mac and Noah Hawley.
  • Far Cry TV Show will last multiple seasons, featuring an original story and cast.

Update: Ubisoft has officially announced that a Far Cry anthology series is indeed in the works by FX and will debut on Hulu and Disney+, featuring a brand-new setting and cast, confirming these details below.

The original story follows…

Following in the steps of other publishers, Ubisoft is also exploring entertainment mediums outside of gaming. Just recently, a live-action Assassin’s Creed series was greenlit at Netflix.

Now, it seems another franchise is getting the same treatment. A Far Cry TV show is officially underway at FX, revealed via a Ubisoft article, which was taken down just moments later.

Why it matters: With cinema adaptations of video games becoming increasingly popular in the industry, it was only a matter of time before Ubisoft followed suit. That said, Far Cry is an interesting candidate for this treatment.

Ubisoft’s Article Announcing Far Cry TV Show Still Showing Up In Search Results

The article still appears in search results despite being inaccessible. According to the brief description from the preview, the TV adaptation will be an anthology drama.

Fortunately, some readers were able to extract the information from the article in the short moments it was up.

Far Cry Series Adaptation In the Works at FX
byu/Ghost_LeaderBG inGamingLeaksAndRumours

The show is co-created by Rob Mac, known best for Mythic Quest, and Noah Hawley, the writer for Alien: Earth. Noah Hawley will serve as the showrunner, while Rob Mac is set to take the acting role.

Margaret Boykin, head of film & TV at Ubisoft, said:

Far Cry a psychological tailspin that doesn’t shy away from the darkest and most absurd parts of humanity, which aligns perfectly with FX’s bold and fearless storytelling style

The anthology will not be adapting any of the stories from the Far Cry games, but instead will adapt an original story filled with a brand-new cast, location, etc. The show will be renewed for multiple seasons, following the games’ format to present a new story with each iteration.

Splinter Cell Deathwatch Animated Show Releasing Soon On Netflix

This move raises a few questions, as the franchise lacks a unique trait beyond its survival themes. It is unclear how the showrunners will translate the Far Cry essence into the show with a new cast and story without making it seem like a typical action-survival show.

AMD Ryzen 9 9990X3D Becomes The Fastest Gaming CPU Outperforming 9800X3D

Story Highlight
  • AMD Ryzen 9 9990X3D is expected to deliver the best gaming performance on the market, narrowly outperforming the 9800X3D.
  • It is designed for enthusiasts who prioritize maximum performance over cost and power efficiency.
  • The processor is anticipated to be expensive, have high power consumption, and be available in limited quantities.

AMD is taking action behind the scenes, and some journalists and leakers are taking notice. The fastest CPU ever conceived for gaming must be in the works, even if FSR RedStone appears to be nearing completion.

According to 3DCenter, the 9990X3D will outperform the 9950X3D in terms of gaming performance, putting it around +2.4% ahead of the formidable 9800X3D.

No one should have high expectations regarding the FPS gains. In truth, the vast majority will not choose this model, which is destined to destroy everything. However, those looking for the best in all areas are in luck.

And that’s where AMD aims to hit: the best performance in all categories, without sacrificing a balance of power consumption and pricing.

AMD Ryzen 9 9990X3D

Let’s take a quick look at the specific percentages:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D -> 101.6%
  • AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D -> 100.0%
  • AMD Ryzen 9 9950X -> 81.0%
  • AMD Ryzen 7 9700X -> 79.2%

As we can see, the base, or 100%, is located in the 9950X3D, which makes sense because the 9990X3D has the same vertical cache in both CCDs, and logically, each chiplet will be gold type in AMD’s binning, so it will not be cheap, nor will there be many units available.

The problem is that it will fall far behind in terms of FPS ratio per euro invested and watts per FPS ratio. It’s only for those unwilling to compromise, able to cool over 200W under load, and ready to spend big.

It must be determined whether the presumed +4% is outweighed by an increase in latency between the separate CCDs, given the significant amount of L3 due to the extra vertical cache, which, regardless of our preferences, should be penalized according to architectural principles. It will be, although to a lesser extent than its twin, the 9950X3D.

The recently released Mafia: The Old Country is the first mainline entry in the series after nearly a decade. Frankly, the new title has been living up to its franchise’s name, except for a few nitpicks.

Borderlands 4 is releasing next month, and early previews have suggested a fresh reboot the series needed

Moving onto 2026, GTA 6 has finally been given a set release date of 26 May. GTA 6’s hype needs no description, but the game will do wonders for its publisher, too, as expected, considering the development budget of $1+ billion.

2026 May Be One Of The Biggest Years For Gaming

Lastly, Judas from Bioshock’s creator has also been confirmed to release next year. While the Bioshock franchise is stuck in turmoil itself, fans can expect to play its spiritual successor to release next year, which has been in development for over a decade now.

That is, Take-Two will be catering to a younger audience this time, and despite their continued success, the publisher has admitted that they’re ‘running scared’. Nevertheless, Strauss Zelnick is confident that they will deliver as usual.

“What’s The Point of Secure Boot” – Battlefield 6 Players Upset As Cheaters Spotted In Open Beta

Story Highlight
  • Cheaters were found in the Battlefield 6 beta on day one.
  • Fans were unhappy about this incident, despite the use of Secure Boot for Javelin anti-cheat.
  • Dice says the anti-cheat has already banned 300K cheaters.

Battlefield 6 has been in beta for over two days now, and things have been going well. After a few initial troubles with the servers, players have had a lot of fun with the game, but the cracks in Battlefield 6 are also beginning to show.

Ahead of the beta’s release, the game boasted the all-new Javelin anti-cheat to prevent all types of problems. However, the latest reports confirm that cheaters have made their way into the beta, leading to questions about the game’s anti-cheat.

Why it matters: Cheating has become a major problem in modern online games, and developers are trying their best to overcome the issue.

Cheaters In Battlefield 6
Battlefield 6 Fans Are Not Too Impressed By Javelin | Image via Twitter

Over on Twitter, ItsHapa shared footage of a cheater running rampant in Battlefield 6 on day one of the beta. This footage was shocking since many believed Dice’s efforts would lead to a very fair gaming experience.

The video also led to many gamers questioning the new ‘Secure Boot’ requirement for the Javelin anti-cheat. For the unaware, Battlefield 6 does not work without this setting enabled, and turning on ‘Secure Boot’ is tricky in itself.

Some have even bricked their motherboards due to being uninformed on the matter. Because the Javelin anti-cheat’s results have been seemingly underwhelming, the community does not seem too happy.

Secure Boot was for what then?

-BigFryTv

Fortunately, Dice producer Alexia Christofi confirmed that this particular cheater had been banned soon after the footage was shared.

In a follow-up post on the EA Forums, Dice also confirmed that Javelin has already banned over 300K cheating attempts. Moreover, over 100K cheating attempts have been reported by the players themselves.

In the same post, Dice explained that Secure Boot does not guarantee a cheat-free experience, but it acts as yet another layer to stop malicious players. Using Secure Boot, the developers can trust specific signals that wouldn’t usually be indicative of hacks or cheats.

Battlefield 6
Battlefield 6 Is Already Huge

Overall, the Battlefield 6 beta has been going well. Many players are appreciating the series’ return to form, but others have also critiqued specific choices, including the lack of huge maps in the current rotation. Additionally, the game’s optimization has raised a few eyebrows.

What do you think about the game so far? Have you run into any cheaters? Let’s discuss in the comments and on the Tech4Gamers Forums.

Faulty 2013 GPU Only Required A Hair Dryer To Fix All Problems

Story Highlight
  • A Redditor bought a GTX 780 for £10 to see if he could get it working.
  • He attempted to resolve the GPU issue by downloading various drivers and a custom BIOS.
  • He then blasted the GPU die with a hair dryer, which fixed all the problems.

Graphics card issues can be complicated to fix and, in many cases, could lead to the complete death. However, they can be relatively simple at times as well, just as a person on Reddit was able to fix a faulty GPU with a straightforward hack.

A Redditor picked up a GTX 780 for £10 as a fun gamble. It booted fine, but crashed the moment Nvidia drivers were installed on it. He tried multiple fixes, but later ended up putting the GPU die in front of a hair dryer, which worked.

Why it matters: The prolonged heat from the dryer could’ve melted the solder, allowing the card to return to normal. While this might not work in all cases, it can be a convenient fix in specific scenarios.

A person was able to fix their GTX 780 by blowing hot air through a hair dryer.

AlbatrossAlarmed485 took to Reddit to reveal how he fixed the faulty GTX 780. He first tried DDU, flashed custom BIOS, and more, but nothing worked. Then he saw videos of people fixing cracked BGA solder using hair dryers.

He then removed the heatsink, applied heat to the GPU die using a hair dryer for 20 minutes, let it cool, and then repasted it. This time, upon turning it on, it was able to install drivers and work fine, at least for now.

Gaming PC
Sometimes, GPU fixes can be pretty challenging.

This might be a temporary fix, but it can at least get you through for a little while. Also, the GTX 780 isn’t the strongest card as it is over 12 years old, but for £10, it could be a great deal for someone who wants a display card.

What are your thoughts on this GPU fix? Do you think the card will last for a little while? Let us know your opinions in the comments or join the discussion at the Tech4Gamers forum.

Former Blizzard Boss Says Battlefield 6 Will ‘Boot Stomp’ Call of Duty This Year

Story Highlight
  • Battlefield 6’s early access has surprised everyone in a good way.
  • Now, former Blizzard boss believes that the title wil boot-stomp CoD this year.
  • He further says that COD has gone downhill over the past years, and the BF6 release will force them to change.

Battlefield 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the year. The game’s early access began just two days ago, and within two hours, the servers were filled with over 300K players waiting in the queue to play.

While Activision has recently claimed that Call of Duty is too big to die and they don’t take Battlefield 6 as a threat, a former Blizzard boss has tweeted that Battlefield 6 will boot-stomp COD this year.

Why it matters: DICE has also admitted that the previous entry was disappointing in the franchise, and the developers have done their best to meet fans’ expectations with the latest release.

Recently, former Blizzard boss Mike Ybarra tweeted that he believes Battlefield 6 will outperform COD this year.

However, he further states that the real win here is that it will force Call of Duty to finally work harder and not be lazy anymore, which will ultimately get better FPS games for the genre franchise.

Ybarra talked about how the Call of Duty franchise has gone downhill for years, and finally, the release of Battlefield 6 will force them to change.

CoD has gone downhill for years since then. It’s a mess. Cheating, heavy UI/install, rainbow colors. People are sick of it. Luckily BF will force them to change it.

battlefield-6-destruction
Battlefield 6 Will Prioritize Fun Over Realism.

It remains to be seen how both titles will perform later this year, but Battlefield 6 is undoubtedly looking strong, as the game has already become the best-selling game on Steam months before its launch.

Bringing back the realistic destruction from the old games of the franchise appears to be working out for the developers. Still, it’s hard to predict how both titles will perform at the launch.

Nonetheless, which title do you think is going to have a better year? Share your thoughts with us in the comments or join the Tech4Gamers forums.
