Shift Up Reports Record Q2 Profit Thanks To Stellar Blade PC Port Success

Story Highlight
  • Stellar Blade’s PC release has been a major success.
  • The game helped Shift Up make one record after another.
  • Its Q2 2025 results have also been incredibly impressive, with profits up 72.4% YoY.

Stellar Blade was finally released on PC this year after a lot of demand from the fandom. As usual, the game was restricted to countries with PSN availability, but the developer urged Sony to release it globally, allowing all fans to enjoy it.

On launch, the game saw immense success as it sold 1 million copies on the PC platform almost 20 times faster than it did on the PS5. Now, Shift Up has reported a profit for Q2 2025, mainly because of how successful the game was on PC.

Why it matters: Releasing a game on PC is always a strong choice, as it offers access to one of the largest and most diverse gaming markets in the world.

Shift Up Financial Results Q2 2025
Shift Up Financial Results Q2 2025 Show Plenty of Growth

The developer has marked the end of Q2 2025, with its highest ever figures, mainly because of the successful release of Stellar Blade. The quarterly performance has increased by 72.4% and 166.1% Yoy and QoQ, respectively.

The Korean company has earned around 112 billion won ($81 million) in this quarter. Among this figure, more than half of the revenue was brought by Stellar Blade. The game helped the developer make $47.3 million this quarter. YoY, the revenue is up by 154.1%, and QoQ, the revenue is up by a whopping 837.3%

Due to the success of Stellar Blade, Sony may now release its console-exclusive games more quickly on the PC platform. According to an insider, the gaming giant has made plans to do that, but nothing has been officially confirmed.

Nevertheless, the Stellar Blade developer listened to the fans, and ever since, it has been showing pretty positive financial reports. The developer is already working on a sequel, which is potentially targeting a 2026 release date.

New Batman Game Set To Release Before Spring 2026

Story Highlight
  • A reliable insider has confirmed that a new Batman game is coming out before Spring 2026.
  • The game will potentially adapt the 2022’s The Batman film.
  • More titles featuring the Dark Knight are underway as Rocksteady is actively working on new Arkham games.

It’s been quite a while since a solo Batman game was released. Surely, the Dark Knight has made appearances in the recent disasters that Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League were. Still, the superhero is yet to return for a solo endeavour, counting out 2024’s VR Arkham Shadow game.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer, though. An insider with solid credibility has practically confirmed that a new Batman game will be arriving before Spring 2026

Why it matters: Batman is undeniably one of the most loved fictional characters of all time. It’ll be nice to play as the Dark Knight in a new video game.

Insider On TT Games’ Next Titles || X

According to LEGOTtNewsI, an insider when it comes to TT Games, a new LEGO Batman game is set to arrive next year, modelled after LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Previously, the insider also hinted at the 2022 Batman film to be adapted into a LEGO video game. The film definitely has enough content to be translated into a LEGO video game, and it won’t be the first time that TT Games has adapted a film.

The game is also set to be unveiled officially on 19 August later this month.

DC Studios CEO James Gunn Reportedly Involved With The Next Batman Game

The audience very positively received older Batman LEGO games, and an adaptation of the 2022 film would certainly do wonders for WB Games. Surely, this will be a nice project until the next AAA Batman game is finished.

Currently, reports suggest that a Batman Arkham Asylum Remake is in the works alongside a brand-new Batman Beyond trilogy featuring Terry McGinnis’ Batman is underway. The trilogy in question, which will reportedly be exclusive to PlayStation, is still years away.

Battlefield 6 Is Causing Players to Brick Their PCs While Trying to Enable Secure Boot

Story Highlight
  • Battlefield 6 requires players to turn on secure boot to run the game.
  • Most players have bricked their PCs in doing so, because it can be a complex task.
  • Despite requiring secure boot and featuring a kernel-level anti-cheat, Battlefield 6 is plagued by cheaters.

The first week of Battlefield 6 Beta is over, and it’s safe to say that Battlefield is back. Most previews have been quite positive thus far, with the game already outpacing Call of Duty for the most concurrent players on Steam.

That said, the game is far from perfect. For starters, Battlefield 6 requires players to turn on secure boot in order to play. Turning on secure boot isn’t that simple, however, as most players have already bricked their PCs in an attempt to do so.

Why it matters: Turning on secure boot is quite complex (here’s our guide to do so), and most PC gamers aren’t familiar with doing so. As a result, they’re now bearing the cost.

Wanted to play battlefield 6, bricked my computer.
byu/PinkFloyd_rs intechsupport

Many players are reporting on Reddit, Steam, and X that they’ve corrupted their BIOS. Not all motherboards come with a BIOS recovery option, so if yours doesn’t have one, you may have to say goodbye to the motherboard.

The BIOS chip can be removed and reprogrammed, but this process is quite extensive to just make your PC unusable again.

Battlefield 6 already has a kernel-level anti-cheat installed, and a secure boot requirement on top is quite unnecessary. On top of that, the game is still plagued with cheaters, despite being up for only a few days and having all these countermeasures.

The kernel-level anti-cheat also poses problems of its own. For some reason, it’s interfering with Valorant’s anti-cheat and asking players to uninstall Valorant, quite literally.

Secure boot requirements are becoming increasingly common in video games. While Valorant was one of the major games to enable this requirement, Battlefield 6 has become another notable one, and this year’s Call of Duty will also follow suit.

Upcoming COD: Black Ops 7 To Launch With Goofy Skins Yet Again

Story Highlight
  • COD: Black Ops 7 will launch with unrealistic and goofy cosmetics.
  • The special edition reveals that Black Ops 7 will also stick with absurd skins like the last entry instead of being grounded.
  • Battlefield 6 devs have called out COD for these choices, as it is shaping up to be a more realistic FPS.

COD has gone from being a realistic FPS series that targeted core fans to a commercialized behemoth IP trying to collaborate with as many media franchises as possible. Unexpectedly, to fans’ dismay, this has led to the recent titles having many cartoony and weird skins.

COD: Black Ops 6 also came under fire by fans for having many outlandish skins, which led to even Battlefield 6 developers taking a jab at the giant franchise. A new leak now reveals that the upcoming COD: Black Ops 7 will also be launching with these goofy cosmetics.

Why it matters: The leak revealing unrealistic skins shows that Black Ops 7 will be no different than the past few entries, which have featured some of the most absurd cosmetics ever seen in the genre.

The game’s vault edition will come with unrealistic skins, as the leak reveals.

As shared by Call of Duty enthusiast @charlieINTEL on Twitter, Black Ops 7’s vault edition has leaked ahead of the official launch. The special edition has revealed some peculiar and unrealistic skins that are far from a realistic military FPS experience.

While not as weird and goofy as the Beavis and Butthead and American Dad skins that we have seen in Black Ops 6, the leaked cosmetics still suggest that the franchise is going to stick to a collaboration-first strategy with Black Ops 7.

On the other hand, Battlefield 6 developers have confirmed that the game will be grounded and stick to a realistic military theme, unlike COD. This decision has led many industry experts and fans to believe that Battlefield 6 will ‘boot stomp’ Black Ops 7 this year.

American Dad In Call of Duty
COD has featured cartoony skins in recent years.

However, Activision has rejected the Battlefield 6 threat, believing that COD is too big to die—a claim that appears more unlikely over time because the Battlefield 6 open beta has already surpassed 500k daily active players.

Do you think COD: Black Ops 7 will see a loss of players given Battlefield 6’s release? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Tech4Gamers forum.

Mafia: The Old Country Breaks Into Steam Top 3 Best-Sellers

Story Highlight
  • Mafia: The Country’s launch was a bit slow, but it managed to almost tie the concurrent players with the first game in the series.
  • The game has also climbed the ranks on Steam’s best sellers list as it is currently sitting in the third spot.
  • It may not climb further because Cyberpunk 2077 (with a massive discount) and Battlefield 6 are in 2nd and 1st position, respectively.

Mafia: The Old Country was launched on Steam a few days ago, and the release was a little underwhelming. It failed to surpass two of its predecessors’ playercount on Steam, which was a little disappointing.

The main reason for that could be subpar marketing and average reviews from the critics. However, as the reviews (predominantly positive) on Steam piled up, more and more people decided to give it a go. Thanks to that, it reached a new all-time high on Friday and climbed the top sellers list on Steam.

Why it matters: Mafia is a well-known franchise, but the previous entry (Mafia 3) was extremely disappointing. Although the developer addressed most issues, fans remained hesitant to try it.

Mafia: The Old Country Steam
Mafia: The Old Country Is Currently The Third Best Seller on Steam.

As you can see in the image above, the game is in third place among Steam best sellers. We aren’t including Steam Deck because that isn’t a game. Battlefield 6 has been dominating the charts for nearly two weeks now, thanks to the multiplayer reveal and open beta.

At this rate, no game for a while may be able to dethrone it. Cyberpunk 2077 is at the second spot mainly because of the whopping 65% discount and the fact that it is one of the best games ever made. Right below it is Mafia: The Old Country.

It’s still a bit disappointing to see the game ranked below a relatively old game, especially one set to release in two months. However, given the lore behind both of those games, it is understandable, too.

With most of the reviews being positive, it seems like fans have enjoyed the game thoroughly. It also seems like a success for the developer. However, there are significant performance concerns thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

Many negative reviews of the game are about the fact that, as the beast, the RTX 4090 can’t even maintain 40 FPS at 4K max settings

Former Bioware Producer Says EA Keeps Rejecting Dragon Age Remake/Remaster Pitches

Story Highlight
  • Mark Darrah says that EA has rejected his proposal for Dragon Age remasters/remakes several times.
  • According to him, EA is against remasters/remakes overall.
  • Based on an outdated engine, older Dragon Age games getting a remaster/remake treatment poses a problem.

EA has been neglecting its magnum opus franchises for quite some time, or worse, treating them poorly. Dragon Age, what was once regarded as one of the Mount Rushmore of RPGs, has been reduced to nothing but a mere joke thanks to the latest entry.

EA, however, refuses to do more with the franchise. Clearly, the Dragon Age franchise needs remasters and remakes to introduce newer players to the series. However, EA continues to reject remaster and remake proposals from developer BioWare.

Why it matters: Projects like Oblivion Remaster are testaments to why publishers need to go down the remake and remaster path more. It’s a great way to introduce these games to new audiences and also curb the hunger for the series until developers work on new entries.

As per Mark Darrah, former BioWare executive producer, he pitched a remake of Dragon Age: Origins or a remastered collection of the Dragon Age trilogy multiple times to EA. Unfortunately, EA has rejected such proposals every time, refusing to fund them.

Interestingly, Darrah revealed that EA is generally against remasters and remakes, which is quite surprising. Their new titles haven’t been doing well, so rewinding the clock should be the right thing to do here.

BioWare is also quite eager to do these projects, but alas. That said, the real problem is a bit deeper than just approving funds. Mass Effect Legendary Edition got the remaster treatment because all the games were made on Unreal Engine.

Dragon Age The Veilguard Gayming GOTY
EA Wanted Dragon Age To Become A Billion-Dollar IP

The same isn’t the case with earlier Dragon Age games. Dragon Age: Origins and 2 were made on BioWare’s long-forgotten Eclipse engine, while Inquisition was made on the Frostbite engine.

Since shrinking down to less than 100 employees, not many BioWare employees are acquainted with the Eclipse engine. If anything, Dragon Age: Inquisition has the best chance of getting a remaster/remake, but that still isn’t likely after EA has gone through massive restructuring as a measure of cost-cutting recently.

Battlefield 6 Series S Performance Proves It Can Deliver Great Results With Proper Optimization

Story Highlight
  • Testing shows Xbox Series S can deliver brilliant results if games are optimized well.
  • It visually manages to stack up to the more powerful consoles in Battlefield 6.
  • The only drawback is the locked 60 FPS, while the others can do up to 120 FPS.

Xbox Series S is often labelled as the bottleneck for game optimization. Developers state that the console is too weak to handle modern AAA gaming, which in turn affects the other consoles. However, Battlefield 6’s performance proves it can do well.

Testing reveals that the Battlefield 6 Xbox Series S performance is excellent for its price. While it doesn’t deliver the high FPS gaming like its more powerful counterparts, it manages to hold up in the visual department.

Why it matters: Games often appear significantly worse on the Series S, with some even skipping the console entirely, but Battlefield 6 demonstrates that proper optimization can unlock its full potential.

Detailed testing and comparison by ElAnalistaDeBits, the visual quality of Battlefield 6 on all current-gen consoles is quite similar. The PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X provide two performance modes, whereas the Series S has only one.

The more powerful consoles aim for 120 FPS in performance but rarely achieve it. On Balanced mode, all consoles hit a solid 60 FPS, with even Series S showing very consistent performance across the board.

Battlefield 6 shows that the Series S can do well with proper optimization.

The overall fidelity and visual quality of Series S impressively go toe-to-toe with the others. However, it does have a smaller draw distance and no screen space reflections, which are expected as it is lower powered and cheaper than the others.

Nonetheless, this proves that if time and effort are put into it, the Series S can deliver great visuals while keeping solid performance. This could also give a solid case for other developers to follow and try harder with Series S ports.

What are your thoughts on the Battlefield Series S performance? Do you think developers don’t put much effort into optimization? Let us know your opinions in the comments or join the discussion at the Tech4Gamers Forum

How To Enable Secure Boot For Battlefield 6

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is in full swing, and players are loving it. The game’s already smashed records with an all-time high player count. The big draw? Battlefield has finally returned to its combat-focused, no-nonsense roots, something many felt was missing in the last installment. On top of that, the Open Beta is free, surprisingly polished for a test build, and only a 35–39 GB download (depending on platform), so you can be in-game fast.

As far as performance goes, the system requirements aren’t too demanding, but there’s one extra catch: EA now requires Secure Boot to run Battlefield 6. If you’re seeing the error “SecureBoot is not enabled. Learn how to use SecureBoot at [go.ea.com/SecureBoot] (111)” when launching the game, you’ll need to hop into your system’s BIOS and adjust a few settings.

Prerequisites For Enabling Secure Boot

Before flipping the Secure Boot switch in your BIOS, there are a couple of things to confirm. These checks make sure your system meets the requirements so you don’t end up staring at the same error again. The main things to verify are:

  • TPM 2.0 is turned on
  • Your Windows drive uses GPT, not MBR
  • Your BIOS is set to UEFI mode

1. Make Sure BIOS Is Set To UEFI

If your system is still running in Legacy or CSM mode, Secure Boot won’t even show up. You can check your boot mode in Windows by:

  1. Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and hit Enter.
  2. In the System Information window, look for “BIOS Mode.”
  3. If it says UEFI, you’re good.
  4. If it says Legacy, you’ll need to switch your BIOS to UEFI after converting your drive to GPT. The exact steps depend on your motherboard/PC brand.
  5. Similarly, if your Secure Boot is set to Off, this means you have to follow along, as you don’t have Secure Boot on.
  6. In case Secure Boot is set to Unsupported, it can be due to several reasons: TPM 2 disabled, BIOS not UEFI, or motherboard unsupported.

BIOS is UEFI, Secure Boot is On

2. Check If TPM 2.0 Is Enabled

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window.
  2. Type tpm.msc and hit Enter.
  3. A new window will pop up showing your TPM status. If it says “The TPM is ready for use”, you’re good here.
  4. If it says otherwise, you’ll need to enable TPM in your BIOS.

TPM is enabled

3. Check Your Disk Format (GPT or MBR)

  1. Press Windows + X and choose Disk Management.
  2. Find the drive that has your Windows installed (usually called OSDisk (C:)). Right-click the leftmost box for that drive (the one showing Disk 0 or Disk 1) and choose Properties.
  3. Go to the Volumes tab and look for “Partition Style.”
  4. If it says GUID Partition Table (GPT), you’re done.
  5. If it says MBR, you’ll need to convert it to GPT before proceeding.

Drive is GPT

In case you need to convert your disk format to GPT, follow these steps:

  1. Press Windows + R, type powershell, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run it as an administrator.
  2. In the window that opens, type: mbr2gpt /validate /disk:0 /allowfullOS (Replace disk:0 with the number you saw in the Properties window earlier.)
  3. If the validation passes, type: mbr2gpt /convert /disk:0 /allowfullOS (Again, replace disk:0 with your actual disk number.)

Once you’ve got TPM 2.0 enabled, your drive set to GPT, and your BIOS is set to UEFI, you’re all set to enable Secure Boot without hitting any roadblocks.

How To Enable Secure Boot

The exact steps can slightly vary based on your motherboard, but they are more or less the same. The screenshots are from an ASRock motherboard.

  1. Restart your PC. As it boots, repeatedly press the key your system uses to open the BIOS setup, usually F2, F10, DEL, or ESC. Your motherboard or laptop brand might use a different key, so check your manual or look for the on-screen prompt during startup.1. BIOS
  2. In the BIOS, look for a tab called Boot, Security, or sometimes Authentication.2. Security Tab
  3. Look for the Secure Boot option, and hit Enter.
  4. In the Secure Boot tab, change the Secure Boot setting to Enabled. If there is Active written below it, you are good to go. If not, follow along.3. Secure Boot Toggle
  5. Change the Secure Boot Mode setting to Custom.4. Secure Boot Mode Toggle
  6. Install the default Secure Boot keys (you will reboot into the BIOS).5. Default Secure Boot Keys
  7. Try enabling Secure Boot again, and it should work this time.
  8. Save and exit.

What Is Secure Boot And Why Battlefield Needs It?

Secure Boot is a PC security feature that makes sure your system only starts up with trusted software. Think of it like a bouncer at the club door: it checks the ID (digital signature) of your boot files and drivers before Windows even begins to load. If something is fake or tampered with, it’s denied entry.

In Battlefield 6, Secure Boot works together with EA’s Javelin Anti-Cheat to spot and shut down cheats before they can get near the game. By running at a deeper system level, it makes it far harder for malicious programs to slip in during startup, resulting in fewer cheaters and a smoother experience for legitimate players.

Frequently Asked Questions

I enabled Secure Boot in BIOS, but the game still complains, why?

On some boards, Secure Boot might appear enabled but isn’t active. You may need to set it to “Custom” and restore the factory keys before it counts as active.

Does Secure Boot impact performance?

Not really. Secure Boot only kicks in when your PC starts up, not while you’re playing. EA and other publishers say enabling it doesn’t affect game performance.

Modern Tech Has Completely Streamlined Gaming Purchases With Digital Payments

Story Highlight
  • Streamlined payment processes are best for buying new games, subscriptions, and accessories.
  • The likes of PayPal eliminate the need to interact with banks and allow the use of prepaid options.
  • These options also work incredibly well with platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam.

In the modern era, subscriptions and various services have become an integral part of our lives. Between Netflix, Game Pass, and other purchases, managing these expenses is slowly turning into a chore.

This is why the simple approach is always best, particularly when it comes to games. Console gamers have to deal with three subscriptions for online play alone, in addition to all the expenses for game and accessory purchases.

Why it matters: Gamers have to juggle more purchases and items than ever before, necessitating a streamlined solution.

Minimalism Is The Way To Go

game-pass-feat
Managing Different Subscriptions Can Become Troublesome If Not Done Right

Minimalism has outpaced every other approach in modern finance. Gamers looking to buy an upcoming game like Ghost of Yotei or subscribe to Game Pass for a title like Ninja Gaiden 4 don’t want to go through endless logins and bloated apps.

This is why more and more people are shifting toward alternatives like prepaid tools. Buying a PayPal gift card online on Eneba gives consumers the freedom to transfer funds into PayPal without a bank account. This effectively unlocks all types of possibilities without actually needing a bank.

Freedom For Gamers

gamepass-steam
Prepaid Cards Allow Direct Purchases Through Any Game Platform

Modern tools have ballooned into complex ecosystems that demand constant updates and attention. This is why prepaid cards are so interesting since they function in the complete opposite manner.

Prepaid cards are focused on the payment itself and how the money is spent. Consumers don’t even have to worry about surprise overdrafts or hidden interest. In this way, the prepaid card route appeals to people who want clarity and control over their transactions.

Because digital gaming is also growing at a tremendous pace, going this route with money and finance is incredibly handy. It effectively eliminates the clutter, bringing the customer one step closer to that enticing new game.

Prepaid cards are also great because they work across multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and even Nintendo. Since prepaid cards offer so many advantages over the competition, they serve as stress-free alternatives that have a purpose in most lives.

This is precisely why digital marketplaces like Eneba have become valuable resources for people who want to take the clutter out of their spending habits.

Constantly Shifting Valorant Meta Is The Game’s Biggest Strength

Story Highlight
  • Valorant boasts millions of active players each month.
  • The game has stayed fresh since its release due to ongoing balance changes and meta shifts.
  • Riot also adds various cosmetic items to the first-person shooter to keep things even fresher.

First-person shooters are doing better than ever. Between the likes of Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty Black Ops 7, interest in the genre is at an all-time high. Games like Riot’s Valorant also continue to do exceptionally well, keeping players engaged with a wave of fresh content.

Since its release, Valorant has constantly changed the gameplay experience and meta. Among the many elements impacting the skill-based encounters of Valorant, the game’s customization also stands out.

This customization is exactly why many choose to buy Valorant gift cards, unlocking new agents, weapon skins, and battle passes that enhance both style and strategy.

Why it matters: Valorant has established itself as a mainstay in the first-person shooter genre, offering competition to established IPs like Counter-Strike.

The Meta Never Sleeps

Valorant
Valorant Is One of Gaming’s Most Popular First-Person Shooters Today

Riot’s commitment to constantly updating Valorant means that the game rarely sticks to a single meta. At one moment, Jett is the most popular character in the game, while the following patch may make her entirely unpopular.

This constant back and forth keeps Valorant’s core gameplay very interesting. Competitive players also enjoy the thrill of adapting and learning, preventing the game from falling victim to stagnation.

Personalization Is Power

Similar to the actual gameplay, Valorant’s customization adds an element of freshness to the experience. Between skins, gun buddies, and sprays, players have an endless amount of content to choose from.

Players can pick from the many available options to highlight their personal tastes and preferences, establishing a unique in-game identity for themselves.

Competitive Edge

The battle pass and premium bundles also offer a slight competitive edge through XP boosts, extra Radianite points, and exclusive unlocks to streamline progression. These do not disrupt the game’s carefully laid out balance but serve as additional time savers for those looking to gain an extra edge.

To Riot’s credit, the game remains very fair despite these benefits, with the purchases serving more as expressions of one’s personality rather than simple power-ups.

Because Valorant constantly goes through so much change, the meta never becomes stale. If the balancing and gameplay changes alone aren’t enough to change things up, the new cosmetics are always sure to mix things up.

This also means that players always hope to buy the latest in-game items, and digital marketplaces like Eneba offer incredible deals to make it easier for players to buy this content, even when operating on a fixed budget.

Dota 2: Why Position 5 Is The Game’s Hardest Role

Story Highlight
  • Dota 2 generally requires a lot of skill, but Position 5 takes this requirement to new heights.
  • Due to being starved of gold and serving as a sacrificial role, Position 5 is the most challenging role in the game.
  • Despite its difficulty level, this role often goes underappreciated.

Valve is behind some of gaming’s most iconic releases. With games like Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, and more under its belt, the studio has established a legendary reputation.

Dota 2 comes from the same studio, standing as a pillar of competitive games today. In this game, carries usually get the most glory, but the Position 5 support lurks in the shadows as an underappreciated legend.

The Position 5 role is sometimes seen as being too easy or boring to play, but the reality is very different. This is actually the hardest role in Dota 2, and it’s about time everyone started admitting it.

Why it matters: Each role in Dota 2 is important to the team, but Position 5 comes with an even bigger set of responsibilities.

Poor By Design

The Position 5 player’s role is to funnel resources to the carry, buy consumables, and stretch gold as thin as possible. On the other hand, everyone else is usually stacking items and building power spikes, leaving this player scraping together to buy Observer Wards, Sentry Wards, and Smoke of Deceit.

The core design of Position 5 revolves around being starved of gold, so every decision feels more difficult than the last. At some point, the experience may become frustrating enough for players to stop playing altogether.

Fortunately, game keys on Eneba save the day here, offering a large library of games to pick from.

Shot Caller or Scape Goat

Position 5 supports basically play two games at once. Between managing vision, spell usage, and positioning to save teammates, they also sometimes serve as the team’s shot caller.

This player also pings when trying to rotate. It’s clear, then, that this role does a lot of heavy lifting for the entire team, and making one wrong call can lead to major problems during an intense match. Effectively, the Position 5 player is the team’s brain and shield.

Carrying Without Carrying

Dota 2
Position 5 Is Central to Matches In Dota 2

While cores carry their teams with items and damage, the Position 5 player carries games by enabling everyone else. This role requires sacrifice and a deep understanding of macro play, map control, and teamfight dynamics.

Due to the intensity associated with Position 5, it is considered Dota 2’s most challenging role to play. As said earlier, Position 5’s contributions are unfortunately underappreciated, making it essential for these players to take breaks from the game every now and then.

When looking to relax with a game that isn’t Dota 2, players can always turn to Eneba for game keys at the best rates possible.
