What exactly are we referring to? We have to look at the data on units sold provided by Statista. As we can see, Switch 1 barely exceeded 2.5 million units in its first year.
This is because Nintendo counts the fiscal year from March 31; that is, April 1 is a new fiscal year. As we know, Switch was launched on March 3rd, so it only had 28 days to be counted in the fiscal year.
Knowing this, the number of actual units should be around 15 million, which is tremendously high if we consider that at its peak, it achieved almost 28 million units by 2021.
Best of all, the Switch 2 forecasts are better and could potentially take the Switch’s sales record even without the aforementioned time lag, as DFC Intelligence claims that up to 17 million units are expected in 2025 alone, which in Nintendo’s fiscal year could mean a few million more.

Connecting to another WiFi or internet network also changed my IP address on the device. Simply, disconnect from the current network and switch to a different one.

The Steam store has revealed the nominees for the 2024 Steam Awards. The nominees were determined by player voting, and the winners of the awards will be chosen in the same way.
Several games were nominated in more than one category, including STALKER 2, Black Myth Wukong, Balatro, Helldivers 2, Hades 2, and Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 received multiple nominations.
Voting for the Steam Awards starts on December 19, and votes will be accepted until the evening of December 31st. The winners are also scheduled to be announced on the evening of December 31st. You can only vote once, but your vote can be transferred to another game.
The Steam Winter Sale will be launched at the same time as the voting starts. It will not end until January 2, 2025.

Henning led the development of the legendary Uncharted and Legacy of Kain series. So, given her work in such titles, it isn’t surprising that she is going with the same strategy for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
Henning also revealed that the game aims for photorealistic visuals, so I won’t just be providing a compelling narrative. She described it as a ‘photo-real, cinema-real level of detail.’
We really wanted the visual fidelity to be high so that you could kind of forget that you’re looking at a game, that it should feel and look and sound and smell like you’re watching a great Marvel movie or TV show, but you’re driving the action.

Fans are calling out Intergalactic for promoting DEI, and this has also led to the game surpassing the record for most dislikes on YouTube previously held by Concord.
Why it matters: The game has been a topic of controversy ever since its reveal at TGA 2024. The criticism even led to PlayStation disabling comments on the trailer, which many people called Concord 2.0.

This could seriously ruin Naughty Dog’s reputation, which it has built over the years with wonderful franchises like The Last of Us, Uncharted, and Jak and Dexter.
