Today, I have another memory kit from Corsair that I will be testing. The Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 AMD EXPO has been rolled out for AMD PC builders. My team and I have already tested two other variants of the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB, but neither of them were specifically AMD EXPO optimized:

Key Takeaways

  • The CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO is a premium Memory kit that is designed for enthusiast-grade PC users and fans of the Corsair brand.
  • You should buy it if you have the cash to splash and will not settle for a RAM that doesn’t come packing performance under its hood.
  • You should avoid it if your budget is on the lower side of things and you don’t need RAM that comes with a premium price tag.

These are the key specs:

Tested Frequency 6000MHz
Tested Latency CL30
RGB Yes
Color Black
Memory Voltage 1.40V
Rated Frequency 4800MHz
XMP Yes
EXPO Yes
Warranty Limited Lifetime
You can use our RAM Latency Calculator to get the latency in nanoseconds. For this kit running @ 6000MHz CL30, it is 110ns.

How Is It Different?

The Dominator Titanium is one of Corsair’s premium product lines, and the kits released under this line usually are high performers, come with that premium outlook, and cost a lot since they’re designed for enthusiasts.

Initially, the Dominator Titanium launch was exclusive. Corsair’s intention with the launch was to target a handful of the top 5-8% of high-end PC gamers who are Corsair fans and want a premium experience. However, the product line is here to stay due to its positive endorsement.

While the kit comes packed with performance, its most striking feature is its aesthetic quality.

Packing Box

The kit I am testing the silver-gray color of this kit today. Unlike Corsair’s usual yellow packaging, this kit comes in grey box packaging just to stand out from the rest of Corsair’s memory line-up.

Design

The design of this memory kit has also been switched around. Corsair ships this RAM with a grey heatsink and a black RGB diffuser on top.

They are available in capacities as follows:

  • 2x16GB
  • 2x32GB

The kit has black aluminum covers and an RGB diffuser on top. These kits seem to be heavier than the other DDR5 kits I have tested. Under the hood, it has a 288-pin layout and a black PCB.

You can also see the back label, which shows the part number, serial number, tested speeds, and version 5.43.13 identifying Hynix ICs. The front and back sides contain the CORSAIR Logo, which seems to be the standard with all the Dominator Titanium Lineup kits.

Test Build

CORSAIR iCUE software was installed to control the lighting of this kit. I am not going into the details of iCUE since we have already given extensive coverage in our previous reviews. Here are a few pictures:

I also recorded a video of the RGB effects and uploaded it on our channel:

We are using the mentioned configuration for RAM testing:

The following software has been used for the testing:

DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO Kit Test Results

We make it a habit to put the RAM kits we review, through synthetic and gaming benchmarks, so our audience has an idea of what kind of performance they can expect from the product. You can check the results below, however, these are the RAMs that we have tested recently

The above RAM kits are the ones that I will be comparing against this RAM kit.

Coming to our benchmarks. Let’s check out the AIDA64 Engineer results and the kit’s performance. The Memory kit doesn’t fail to impress us with its performance capabilities, and in most scenarios, it comes out on top with its other Corsair brothers. Ultimately, it does impress us and justifies its premium price tag in a manner.

When we ran the Cinebench R23 CPU Benchmark, just like the Intel XMP variant, the kit returned a high score. This makes it earn its second place in our RAM comparison. Goes to showcase its impressive performance capabilities no matter what scenario you throw at it. It will perform.

Gaming Benchmarks

Now that you have an idea of how the RAM performs in synthetic benchmarks, let me share the results of the gaming benchmarks:

The CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM is a top-performing RAM kit and it shows in the benchmark. We tested it in Black Myth Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077, and Apex Legends and it delivers high frames, which just goes to show its capabi

Should You Buy It?

Buy It If

✅ You are a CORSAIR lover and enthusiast: This pretty much explains it. The performance that the RAM is capable of dishing out has impressed us.

✅ You need premium high-performing RAM: If you’re one of those guys who just want the best hardware for your PC and have the cash to splash on it, make sure you buy this RAM as it will push your PC to the limit.

Don’t Buy It If

❌ You are on the lower side of your budget: If you’re running low on budget and can’t spare the bucks, this RAM kit isn’t for you as cheaper options are available in the market.

My Thoughts

I have already reviewed and tested the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5-6000 32GB CL30, which comes in white. I was pretty impressed with its performance.

The same is true with this one! While the color is silver grey, the performance is identical, and it looks great when running with the RGB. You will be glad once you buy it.
