Capcom has been on an insane run with massive hits one after the other. Some even claim that it has been the studio of the decade, delivering consistent quality throughout the years, and the numbers back those claims.
The Japanese gaming giants have just released their latest financial report, recording a 9th consecutive year of profits led by humongous hits this year, such as Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3, and now Pragmata.
Why it matters: It is now among the only few studios, if not the only one, that has remained profitable for such a long time. Capcom’s consistency is truly remarkable, putting them in this well-earned position.

Capcom has released its FY25 financial results, marking its 9th profitable year. It even saw a 10% increase in operating profit for the 11th straight year. Moreover, it has also reached an all-time high in consumer game sales.
Selling over 7 million units, Resident Evil Requiem has been the biggest driver of the profits this fiscal year. It also helped provide a sales boost to the rest of the games in the franchise, enhancing profits even further.

The studio has predicted yet another successful year, which will make it a 10th straight year of profitability, helped by Requiem, Pragmata, and Monster Hunter. It is also set to release Onimsuha later this year.
