Dozens of Trailers From EA, Capcom, And More!

Story Highlight
  • Xbox has just confirmed its second digital event for this year.
  • An Xbox Partner Preview is scheduled for March 6.
  • It will be 30 minutes long and feature titles from third-party studios.

Last month, Microsoft hosted a business update, confirming new figures for Game Pass subscribers, teasing Call of Duty’s addition to subscriptions, and clarifying the exclusivity policy for Xbox moving forward.

Xbox has now announced another event one month later. A Partner Preview is happening on Wednesday, showcasing games from third-party developers.

Why it matters: This event is building up to the eventual Xbox Games Showcase, teasing new projects from the biggest third-party teams in the industry.

The latest blog post elaborates on the Xbox Partner Preview scheduled to arrive on the 6th of March.

It has been confirmed that the event will show games from third-party studios, including Capcom, EA, and Nexon. Titles like Tales of Kenzera: Zau, The First Berserker: Khazan, and more are expected to show up at the event.

Xbox also confirms that no first-party titles will be included. Therefore, fans hoping to learn more about titles like Fable, Blade, or Hellblade 2 should stay patient for the showcase coming later in June.

The Xbox Partner Preview will be the second digital event from Xbox this year. Microsoft has already conducted a Developer Direct in the first month of the year, showcasing the first look at Indiana Jones and confirming the release date of Hellblade 2.

Though the event will only last for 30 minutes, Microsoft promises a look at major third-party games and their release dates. Furthermore, the blog post states developers will join the show to highlight unique perspectives on their games.

Last year, Konami debuted new Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake gameplay at a Partner Preview.

Therefore, fans can expect a few big reveals on a similar scale at the event. With publishers like EA and Capcom confirmed to have a presence, the Partner Preview might be more exciting than fans expect.
