The Blood of Dawnwalker is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated games of the year despite being surrounded by a number of big titles close to its release, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Phantom Blade Zero, and more.
Led by the director of The Witcher 3, this upcoming RPG has everyone’s attention, and the team has used this occasion to announce the official release date for The Blood of Dawnwalker with a striking new trailer.

As for the story trailer, it highlights the tight balance between protagonist Coen’s human nature and his descent toward madness after being turned into a Dawnwalker. Despite being dubbed the story trailer, this footage shows plenty of gameplay as well.
As expected of The Witcher 3 director, Rebel Wolves’ upcoming title features plenty of exciting melee combat opportunities, with various supernatural elements thrown in the mix for further variety.
Compared to past showings, The Blood of Dawnwalker also appears to have been polished up quite a bit visually.
As mentioned earlier, this release date puts Rebel Wolves’ RPG in direct competition with various big titles of 2026. However, the team has previouly described itself as confident in its work, and this release date further suggests this is the case.
