Extra Controller Included In The Box!

The last few months have been great for the PlayStation 5. Sony has recently announced that the console has sold more than 30 million units worldwide, and availability is much better than ever before.

Many have been speculating about a new revision for the console in 2023. The PS5 has already seen a recent revision with improvements, like a 6nm process node for the APU, and a new report from Winfuture claims that another revision is on its way.

According to the report, this revision will also bring an official PS5 bundle with two controllers. The bundle appears to be up for pre-order on sites like ebgames for 894.95 AUD.

The new bundle will be available for both digital and physical consoles. The listing from Ebgames shows a February release date, so it looks like the bundle might hit storefronts in late January or early February.

The price shown above converts to $620 in the US. However, Australian prices are not exact conversions from their US counterparts, so it would be wise to wait for official prices from Sony.

This bundle would be an excellent option for PlayStation 5 owners that play games like Fifa and Call of Duty. These games can use more than one controller for couch co-op or PVP gameplay. Existing PS5 owners can also purchase a separate controller for their consoles.

Previously, stores have also sold PS5 consoles with additional controllers. However, the latest bundle comes from Sony, so fans might also see a slight discount on the overall price of the complete package.

Recent rumors have also hinted that Sony is developing an external disc drive for the PS5. This would allow the gaming giant to sell digital PS5 consoles as base units with an optional accessory for buyers who want to utilize physical media.

This supposed model’s exact release date is unknown, but sources claim it will be coming in 2023. Fans can now look forward to this new bundle with the additional Dualsense controller.

An extra controller can always come in handy, and the new PS5 bundle will be an excellent option for new customers looking to try Sony’s latest console. Will you buy the new bundle? Let us know in the comments.
