- An analyst believes GTA 6 will arrive on PC within six to seven months.
- Previous reports also suggested that Rockstar Games would hurry up with the PC release.
- The team previously took at least a full year to bring its games to PC after a console release.
GTA 6 is launching in less than a month now, but the game will only be available to PS5 and Xbox Series S|X players at first.
Many have discussed a potential PC version, but knowing Rockstar Games, there’s no telling when the game will launch on this platform. An analyst has now joined the conversation, claiming that GTA 6 on PC is just 6-7 months away.
Why it matters: Rockstar Games typically takes a full year or more to port its games to PC, so GTA 6 could be a huge exception to this trend.

Prominent games industry analyst Michael Pachter was recently featured on BBC and discussed the GTA 6 excitement that has led to a major sales boost for the PS5.
When speaking to the channel, Michael Pachter noted that PlayStation is benefiting from GTA 6 despite the lack of proper exclusivity for the game. He explained that the title will also be available on Xbox Series S|X later next month.
Moreover, according to Michael Pachter, GTA 6 will be on PC 6-7 months from launch.
In about 6 or 7 months, it’ll (GTA 6) come out on PC.
The interesting part is that this isn’t the first time reports of a nearing PC release for GTA 6 have come up. Perhaps Rockstar Games is actually planning to ditch its typical console-to-PC timeline for its latest release.

It’s still worth taking Michael Pachter’s words with a grain of salt since Rockstar Games has said nothing about a PC release officially so far. Still, ongoing discussions certainly suggest a PC release will happen sooner rather than later.
