Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and more have maintained their relevance for over thirty years at this point. Further evidence of this relevance is the fact that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was recently crowned the best game of all time in a readers’ choice vote.

Why it matters: From its gameplay to story, visuals, and soundtracks, Ocarina of Time was a perfect blend of RPG elements and adventure on the Nintendo 64.
