1. Process Size: Starting off the architectural differences, the RTX 4060 Ti has processing nodes of 5nm, whilst the RX 6750 XT has processing nodes of 6nm.
2. Clock Speeds: The RTX 4060 Ti has a base clock of 2310MHz, which boosts up to 2535MHz. Meanwhile, the RX 6750 XT has a base frequency of 2150MHz, which boosts up to 2600MHz.
3. VRAM: The RTX 4060 Ti has a smaller VRAM size of 8GB for the $399 variant, whereas the RX 6750 XT has a larger VRAM size of 12GB. This difference is significant, as some modern games list 8 GB as a minimum for a smooth experience.
4. Bus Width: The 192-bit bus width is also better on the RX 6750 XT than the RTX 4060 Ti’s 128-bit bus. 
5. TDP: Finally, the TDP of the RTX 4060 Ti is 160W, whereas the RX 6750 XT can draw up to 250W.

RTX 4060 Ti Vs RX 6750 XT – Overall Gaming Performance

Let us begin the core section of our comparison i.e. benchmarks of the RX 6750 XT Vs RTX 4060 Ti.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

• In the first game of our testing, both the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 6750 XT deliver comparable performance. The 4060 Ti achieved an average of 76 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT had an average of 74 FPS.
• The disparity in 1% lows was not huge either. The RTX 4060 Ti showed 1% lows of 57 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT had marginally worse lows of about 55 FPS.

Control

• Once again, Control had both of our cards outputting similar averages. The RTX 4060 Ti had an average of 68 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT had a marginally lower average of 66 FPS.
• During action-heavy scenes, the RTX 4060 Ti delivered a 1% low of 54 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT had a 1% low of 51 FPS.

Cyberpunk 2077

• In Cyberpunk, the performance of these cards was almost identical once again. The RTX 4060 Ti had an average of 58 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT averaged 57 FPS.
• In graphically intensive scenes in Cyberpunk 2077, the RTX 4060 Ti maintained 1% lows of 39 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT had a slightly worse 1% low at 34 FPS.

Red Dead Redemption 2

• At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the averages in this game were also almost the same for both cards. The RTX 4060 Ti achieved an average of 75 FPS, while the RX 6750 XT closely followed with an average of 76 FPS.
• 1% lows were also in the same vain. The RTX 4060 Ti recorded a 1% low of 64 FPS, while the RX 6750 XT registered 63 FPS.

Hogwarts Legacy

• In Hogwarts Legacy, these cards deviated slightly from similar performance numbers. The RTX 4060 Ti lagged with an average framerate of around 56 FPS, whereas the RX 6750 XT averaged about 64 FPS.
• The RX 6750 XT also outperformed the RTX card regarding 1% lows. The 6750 XT had a 1% low of 45 FPS, whereas the RTX 4060 Ti had a 1% low of 39 FPS.

The Last Of Us Part 1

• In the VRAM-intensive game of The Last Of Us Part 1, the extra memory of the 6750 XT allowed it to perform the RTX 4060 Ti out. It had an average of 53 FPS, compared to 44 FPS on the RTX 4060 Ti.
• Both cards recorded the same 1% lows in this game at 27 FPS.

God Of War

• In God Of War, the RTX 4060 Ti and RX 6750 XT recorded the same average framerate of 74 FPS.
• 1% lows were better on the 6750 XT in this game. It maintained lows of 64 FPS, whereas the RTX 4060 Ti outputted 60 FPS.

Marvel’s Spiderman Remastered

• In Marvel’s Spiderman Remastered, both these GPUs performed excellently, with the RTX 4060 Ti having an average of 104 FPS, while the RX 6750 XT followed closely behind with an average of 100 FPS.
• During demanding scenes, the RX 6750 XT exhibited slightly higher 1% lows of 83 FPS, indicating better frame consistency than the RTX 4060 Ti’s 78 FPS.

RTX 4060 Ti Vs RX 6750 XT – Overall Gaming Performance

The RX 6750 XT was ahead in terms of average framerate, but not by a large margin. The RTX 4060 Ti averaged a difference of only 4 FPS behind the AMD RX 6750 XT. Consequently, the RX 6750 XT had a 3 FPS higher 1% low framerates than the AMD RX 6750 XT. On average, the performance of these two cards is essentially the same.

Power Consumption

Across the games tested, we saw that the RTX 4060Ti ran at an average power draw which was 72% lower than the AMD RX 6750 XT. The power consumption of the RTX 4060 Ti is drastically lower than the RX 6750 XT. This makes the RTX 4060Ti the ideal card for users looking to avoid a huge electric bill.

Thermal Efficiency

As we performed the benchmarks, we analyzed that the temperature differences between these two cards can be chalked up to the margin of error. The two GPUs had an average thermal difference of only 1°C. This omits the temperature levels as a factor of difference in the comparison of these cards. 

Price And Availability 

The RTX 4060Ti is currently around 40% more expensive price than the AMD RX 6750XT. This price justifies the performance of the card compared to the AMD RX 6750XT. The RTX 4060 Ti should be readily available at your retail computer parts store, though the RX 6750 XT might be trickier to come across in traditional brick-and-mortar stores.

Final Thoughts – Which One We Recommend?

RTX 4060 Ti: The RTX 4060 Ti is nowhere near the best deal on the market, but it is more attractive than the RX 6750 XT. It has better gaming framerates to offer at a lower price. This is coupled with a similar thermal level and a huge average power consumption rating, making it ideal for average gamers. 

AMD RX 6750 XT: On the other hand, if you want more horsepower for your money and can live without frame-generation technology, a used RX 6750 XT will not disappoint. It has excellent raw performance, decent performance with RT on, and good upscaling software in the shape of AMD’s FSR.

I recommend the RTX 4060 Ti over the RX 6750 XT for the average gamer. This is because of its great upscaling software, amazing RTX implementation, and the better value it gives for your money with all other factors combined.
