Larian’s latest title, Divinity, will be the studio’s biggest and most ambitious title yet.
Geoff Keighley says it’s bigger than Baldur’s Gate 3 and the rest of the studio’s entries.
It currently doesn’t have a release window, and not much is known about it yet.
Before there was Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios was known for its CRPG series, Divinity. After the studio revealed that their next game wouldn’t be a Baldur’s Gate sequel, there was anticipation as to what the next project would be.
And Larian took a grand route to reveal its next. Before The Game Awards, a massive statue emerged, and fans wondered what it could be. Today, at the event, they revealed it was for the studio’s biggest game ever, Divinity.
Why it matters: The Belgian Studio is associated with huge games offering substantially sized maps and hundreds of hours of gameplay, but Divinity will be the biggest of them all.
At the game’s reveal, Geoff Keighley described Divinity as bigger than Baldur’s Gate 3 and the studio’s biggest game ever. It isn’t clear if he’s talking about the game length, but we can assume it’s about the overall scope.
Divinity will be placed as a part of the franchise, but the studio says you don’t need to play older games to understand it; however, if you do, that’ll add additional lore. It’s also the first time it’s being called just ‘Divinity’.
Larian has revealed its biggest game ever, Divinity
The title was shown off with an explosive trailer, which also featured the mysterious desert statue. The studio head, Swen Vincke, also described the project as their biggest and most ambitious RPG yet.
However, the game doesn’t have a release window for now. Larian adopts an early access model as it did with Baldur’s Gate 3, but that hasn’t talked about it, at this point. Nonetheless, it could an another incredible entry from the studio.
What are your thoughts on Divinity being bigger and more ambitious than Baldur’s Gate 3? Let us know your opinions in the comments or join the discussion at the official Tech4Gamers Forum.

This storage weighs only 50 grams and measures 78x23x9.65 mm. The storage features a swivel mechanism with a 360-degree rotating frame. This also protects one connector while the other is in use.
Testing Methodology
How Do We Measure Flash-Drive Performance
We test USB Flash-Drive in a diverse range of software, including various real-world tests, gaming workloads, gaming loading times, synthetic benchmarks, and thermal tests (If it’s supported).
What Tools Do We Test
We use 3DMark, PCMark 10, CrystalDiskMark, and DiskBench for our benchmarks and compare the results against those of other storage solutions.
Preparing The System
The Flash-Drive is plugged on the X870 Nova WiFi in the USB 3.2 Gen 2 support. We format the storage completely to ensure that no data is available on the drive. During the tests, we ensure that there is no background activity in the OS to maintain a clean system.
Starting with Disk bench, this program evaluates storage performance under real life performance conditions, we have made two runs here first copying the file and then reading the file. The test file set consists of 32GB of mixed data including random PSD and excel sheets.

Should You Buy It?
Buy It if:
✅ If you want a portable drive to back up large photo and video libraries: This drive uses USB 3.2 Gen2, which delivers very fast speeds, and is designed to store your data quickly.
✅ If you’re a traveler or on-the-go worker looking for something compact: The storage device is compact, enclosed in a metal case with strong durability, and offers 512GB of capacity, which is enough for most media storage, and has a decent build quality for everyday carry.
Don’t Buy It If
❌ If budget is the issue: This isn’t the cheapest stick. Flash Drives with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface are more expensive than basic flash drives. If you only need a simple or small file transfer, this is way overkill and more expensive.
Final Thoughts
We’ve got our hands on the Netac US9 512GB Stick, which uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface with dual connectivity via Type-A and Type-C, achieving very fast read and write sequential speeds of 1000MB/s, as evidenced by our testing. The flash-drive could be handy for the users who are looking to back up their media files or the games as it’s compact and durable and easy to carry unlike the big enclosures or the portable SSD’s that you can find in the market, The performance is not the top tier and it is not something that you could use as a primary storage solution in your PC. Still, it’s useful if you’re traveling or working on the go, as it’s tiny and durable. The price for this stick starts at $64 for the 256GB variant, $90 for the 512GB variant, and $135 for the 1TB variant.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has dominated The Game Awards in a way nobody saw coming.
The RPG has won 9 awards out of its 11 nominations, setting a new record for the most wins at this event.
This record was previously held by The Last of Us Part 2, which won 7 awards in a single year.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had already made history ahead of The Game Awards when it became the most-nominated title in the event’s history.
Since then, Sandfall Interactive’s RPG has won Game of the Year and set an entirely different record. With The Game Awards now concluded, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has officially dethroned The Last of Us 2 as the most-awarded game in the event’s history.
Why it matters: This record being held by a studio like Naughty Dog was not all that surprising, given the team’s history and talent. However, Sandfall Interactive taking the crown was completely unexpected.
Maelle In Clair Obscur Expedition 33
For context, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was nominated for a total of 11 categories at The Game Awards this year. The title managed to win a whopping 9 of these 11 awards to beat the previous record.
In 2020, The Last of Us Part 2 won 7 awards, so Sandfall Interactive’s RPG has taken a comfortable lead of two awards. The following awards, including Game of the Year, were won by this RPG at the event:
Game of the Year
Best Game Direction
Best Narrative
Best RPG
Best Score and Music
Best Debut Indie Game
Best Art Direction
Best Actor (Jennifer English as Maelle)
Best Independent Game
The Last of Us Part 2’s Record Has Been Broken
To commemorate the occasion, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has also received new DLC at no additional cost. This update brings a new dungeon, bosses, costumes, and much more to the game.
For those curious, all of this content is also available immediately at the time of writing.

Ghost of Yotei was nominated across 7 categories at The Game Awards, including those for narrative, art direction, audio design, and more.
The title failed to secure a single award and went home with 0 wins.
Previously, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 faced a similar situation when it failed to win a single award in 2023.
Ghost of Yotei marked the much-anticipated sequel to Ghost of Tsushima earlier this year. The game also served as PlayStation’s biggest blockbuster exclusive of 2025, following the success of Sucker Punch Productions’ brand-new IP.
Thanks to strong critical reception and impressive sales early on, this sequel saw multiple nominations at The Game Awards 2025. Unfortunately, Ghost of Yotei has failed to win a single award at this event.
Why it matters: PlayStation’s blockbuster titles always become the center of the industry’s attention, making such situations very surprising for general audiences.
As shown in the above image, Ghost of Yotei secured a total of 7 nominations at The Game Awards 2025. These included nominations for the narrative, game design, music, and more.
The title was not nominated for Game of the Year, but many still expected it to take home at least a few awards. However, this does not appear to have been the case, with other titles dominating The Game Awards 2025. In particular, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 swept up awards at the show left and right.
In Ghost of Yotei’s case, the title presented a well-rounded sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Unfortunately, it seems to have done little to stand out in a year full of fantastic offerings like Hollow Knight Silksong and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Of course, this is not the first time a major PlayStation blockbuster has gone home empty-handed at The Game Awards. Back in 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 suffered a similar fate, leaving with no awards to its name.
In a shocking twist of fate, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was also nominated across 7 categories and won no award, much like Ghost of Yotei.
Sucker Punch Productions’ Work Still Received Plenty of Praise
While PlayStation itself is unlikely to be too worried about this outcome, particularly since Astro Bot won Game of the Year in 2024, this situation does highlight the growing fatigue regarding Sony’s blockbuster first-party games.
Perhaps the gaming giant should try more experimental titles like Astro Bot to ensure it stays a dominant force across the industry.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the winner of the GOTY award at The Game Awards 2025.
The title has now won multiple GOTY awards, booking its place in the history records.
It also won 8 other awards at today’s event, winning a total of 9 awards.
2025 has been a tremendous year for gaming. We’ve had some outstanding AAA releases, but even better indie titles. However, across the whole year, since its release, one title has stood out, as it has demolished all competition.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has won the prestigious Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2025. An even more impressive aspect of the RPG is that it was developed by around 30 developers and had a budget of just $10 million.
Why it matters: This year has been filled with brilliant games like Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades 2, and more, but Expedition 33 has been crowned the best of all.
Expedition 33 has won a total on 9 awards at TGA
Today at TGA, Geoff Keighley crowned Expedition 33 as the Game of the Year 2025. It was up against competition from Silksong, Death Stranding 2, Hades 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Donkey Kong Bananza.
All these were excellent titles and completely deserved their place in the top ranks. Notably, Expedition 33 was also the only original game, while the recent ones were all sequels or connected to some major IPs.
Expedition 33 recently equalled Baldur’s Gate 3’s 7 wins record at the Golden Joystick
This isn’t the only award the game has bagged today. It made headlines by becoming the most nominated game ever at TGA, and has managed to win 9 of its 11 nominations, which is a huge feat for an indie title.
It did a clean sweep at the Golden Joystick Awards and has replicated the success at The Game Awards as well. Sandfall Interactive has made a huge name for itself, and fans are looking forward to whatever it has next.

Phantom Blade Zero just received a brand-new gameplay trailer at The Game Awards.
The game’s release date has finally been confirmed after years of speculation, and it launches on September 9, 2026.
This trailer also shows plenty of the high-octane combat from past footage that fans have enjoyed so far.
However, one thing missing from the equation so far is the actual release date itself. Fans were quite happy to learn that Phantom Blade Zero’s official release date would be announced at The Game Awards 2025. As expected, the game now has an official release window.
Why it matters: The next year already looks incredibly stacked, and Phantom Blade Zero’s addition has fans even more excited for the next 12 months.
The latest gameplay trailer once again puts the spotlight on the core combat, and it continues to impress. Every strike and counter feels sharp and cinematic, with many fans already saying it may even surpass Sekiro in terms of execution.
Like past trailers, this video is also quite lengthy, demonstrating various boss battles and interesting encounters. In total, the trailer shows nearly five minutes of combat and gameplay.
As for the release date itself, Phantom Blade Zero is set to launch on September 9, 2026. This means that it is just 10 months away at this point, nearly marking an end to the grueling waiting period since the first release.
Phantom Blade Zero Marks S-Game’s Debut AAA Title In The Industry
Some are even calling Phantom Blade Zero the next Black Myth: Wukong, pointing to its potential to draw hundreds of thousands of players at launch. Considering the heavy marketing push and the sheer hype surrounding it, it wouldn’t be surprising if another Chinese-developed title ends up shattering Steam records.

Arc Raiders has been dubbed the Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025.
The title beat Battlefield 6, Elden Ring: Nightreign, and more for this victory.
This extraction shooter continues to be extremely popular on all platforms.
Arc Raiders has shown the potential of multiplayer games in 2025, becoming the center of conversations. As an extraction shooter, the title already has a massive community of players, and it seems things are changing for the better with each passing day.
At The Game Awards 2025, Arc Raiders has also been recognized for its excellent multiplayer gameplay. The title has completely outshone the competition to win the ‘Best Multiplayer Game’ award.
Why it matters: Multiplayer gaming had plenty to offer in 2025, so this win is no small feat.
The competition for Best Multiplayer Game Was Quite Tough This Year
Among these titles, Battlefield 6 was the strongest contender to Arc Raiders. EA’s latest Battlefield offering has been deemed a true return to form for the series, taking the IP to new heights, both in terms of commercial and critical performance.
Battlefield 6 also took home the award for Best Audio Design at the same event. However, it seems Arc Raiders came out on top when looking at the overall multiplayer offering. Also, FromSoftware’s first multiplayer-focused offering was nominated in this category.
Although Elden Ring: Nightreign was not one of the favorites to win, it certainly offered an interesting alternative to the traditional multiplayer experience of the other games present on this list.
The extraction shooter has been a massive success on Steam.
Many Arc Raiders fans even demanded the title be nominated for Game of the Year. Although this did not end up happening, these fans will likely be glad to see the extraction shooter receiving recognition for its multiplayer excellence.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was announced at the TGA 2025 as a full-fledged remake of the first game.
The remake looks stunning, and Lara appears to be embracing her acrobatic skills fully in this trailer.
A second mainline title, Tomb Raider Catalyst, is also in the works and is set in India, with a release set later, possibly in 2027.
After over 7 years of absence from the spotlight, the Tomb Raider series is officially making a comeback, starting with a remake of the original 1996 entry, releasing in 2026.
Titled Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, this remake will give Lara Croft a brand-new look in celebration of the game’s 30th anniversary.
Why it matters: The Tomb Raider series is one of the most iconic ones in gaming, and despite that, many fans haven’t had the chance to check out the older entries that cemented Lara Croft as one of the great protagonists. This remake is a good start to introduce new fans to the series.
Lara Croft seems to fully embrace her acrobatic skills, as seen in her parkour movements and in doing the iconic handstand pose. Puzzles and trap sequences are also shown in the game, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis seems to be a proper action-adventure experience that fans have been longing for years.
Other than that, Atlantis looks stunning with ancient ruins and lush green forests, and threats like dinosaurs looming. The game also features underwater exploration sequences. Crystal Dynamics is developing the game in collaboration with Flying Wild Hog.
This version of Lara Croft appears to resemble that of the recent trilogy that ended with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. However, the classic feeling of the original character is still there, and the new design appears to be a blend of modern and classical models.
This is only one of the Tomb Raider games in development; a brand-new entry set in Northern India featuring a veteran Lara is scheduled for release sometime in 2027, titled Tomb Raider Catalyst.

Remedy Entertainment has finally announced Control Resonant, a sequel to the original.
The game has a brand new protagonist, Dylan Faden, with new twisted powers.
It has been set for a 2026 release, much earlier than everyone’s anticipation.
Remedy Entertainment is among the best single-player game studios in the industry. From titles like Max Payne, Alan Wake, Control, and Quantum Break, the studio has delivered an immense quality over the years, and now it’s ready for its next title.
At today’s The Game Awards, Remedy finally revealed the next part of its 2019 action game, Control Resonant. Notably, Jesse, the original protagonist in nowhere to be seen, and we instead have a new face.
Why it matters: Control overall had a decent reception and felt like a unique take on an action-adventure game. It was also a part of the Remedy Connected Universe, so the sequel will undoubtedly have easter eggs as well.
Control Resonant is set in a warped Manhattan on the brink of paranatural annihilation. It is an action-adventure RPG, just like the original, but the premises seem to have been expanded a lot with new powers and environments.
The game follows Dylan Faden, the new protagonist and Jesse’s brother, as he fights for his humanity and survival against a reality-bending cosmic threat. Just like other Remedy Games, we might see connections with in connected universe.
Control Resonant introduces the franchise to a brand new protagonist
This could mean we are in for a Resident Evil Requiem-like twist, where Leon was being kept a secret. So, Jesse might be somewhere in the game as well, but might be kept as a surprise for the later stages.
Most importantly, Control Resonant will be released in 2026, much earlier than most anticipated, and will be out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is off to a great start at The Game Awards 2025.
The title has already won two awards, taking home the Best Independent Game and Best Performance titles.
At this rate, the RPG could win across all the nominated categories.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 made a new record when it became the most nominated title at The Game Awards a few weeks ago. Since then, expectations have been high for the title, with many even predicting a complete sweep across all categories.
While it remains to be seen if the RPG will actually dominate across all nominated categories, it is certainly off to a great start. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has now won the best independent game award at the event.
Why it matters: This RPG came from a brand new studio, making its accolades and achievements all the more impressive.
Among these titles, Sandfall Interactive’s first release was always the favorite to claim the award, so this outcome is hardly a surprise.
While accepting the award, Sandfall Interactive noted that its ambitions resulted in something special for everyone. The studio is extremely proud of everything it achieved and dedicated the award to indie teams around the globe.
Of course, this is likely just the beginning for what could be a major success story at The Game Awards. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has also won an award for the Best Performance, with this accolade going to Jennifer English, who voiced Maelle in the RPG.
If Sandfall Interactive continues to take awards home one after another, it could very well make history at The Game Awards today.

Leon Kennedy was showcased as the second playable protagonist for Resident Evil Requiem in a brand-new trailer.
Leon’s gameplay sequences will lean towards action, providing a healthy contrast to the survival horror segments for Grace’s parts.
Other than that, reports also hint at Alyssa Ashcroft being the third playable character.
Resident Evil Requiem is possibly the series’ biggest launch to date, and Capcom has gone all out for the release, pouring hundreds of millions into the game’s development. Possibly the biggest reason for the game’s hype is the rumored appearance of fan-favorite Leon Kennedy.
Finally, Capcom has unveiled a brand-new trailer for the game at The Game Awards 2025, confirming that Leon Kennedy is indeed present in the game and will have his own gameplay segments.
Why it matters: Despite Resident Evil featuring a variety of protagonists across a span of 20+ years, Leon Kennedy remains a beloved character by many due to his charisma and action-oriented gameplay. As such, fans will be excited to hear his return for this new entry.
From the short teaser, Leon’s gameplay segments look more action-focused than Grace’s survival-horror parts. This will make a nice contrast for the gameplay and keep things interesting.
Despite Resident Evil Requiem taking place more than 2 decades after the fourth entry, Leon still appears to look fresh and young, contrary to rumors that he’d have a more rugged, older appearance.
Beyond Leon and Grace, an insider also teased Alyssa Ashcroft as the third protagonist, although it is speculated that her playable sequences will be pretty minimal compared to the rest.
Resident Evil Requiem To Borrow The Last Of Us 2 Combat Mechanics
Furthermore, another report has claimed a PS4 release for Resident Evil Requiem, which is quite unusual for a 12-year-old console. However, it appears that Capcom has taken note of the recent rise in console prices and aims to make the game accessible to as many players as possible.

Lucasfilm Games has finally announced a new single-player narrative-driven Star Wars game.
The title is called Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic and is set at the end of the Old Republic.
It is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and is still in early stages of development.
A brand new title, Star Wars: Fate of The Old Republic, has been announced at TGA. It is a single-player RPG that will be available on PC and consoles. However, all we currently have is a cinematic announcement trailer.
Why it matters: The overall reception of both the recent Star Wars Jedi games has been quite decent. Lucasfilm is now looking to expand the franchise further with another single-player game.
While not too much is known at this point, some information about Fate of the Old Republic has been shared. It will be a narrative-driven game that takes place at the end of the Old Republic and follows the journey of a Force user.
It is being developed by Arcanaut Studios, a new studio launched by Casey Hudson, director of the original Star Wars KOTOR and Mass Effect Trilogy, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
Fate of the Old Republic will be a single-player, narrative-driven RPG
While the game is being built in the same tradition as KOTOR, it is not a direct sequel to it, so we can expect new characters and brand new narratives that will further expand the already quite fleshed out Star Wars lore.
For now, there isn’t a release date in sight, but the game is still confirmed to be in early stages of development, so it isn’t releasing anytime soon. Nonetheless, this will be really exciting for Star Wars fans.
