Testing
I tested the power station at home using 4 Android phones. I charged each phone individually for 15 minutes, noting the maximum current and voltage. Then, I connected all phones to the power station simultaneously and observed the maximum current and voltage during 15 minutes of charging. If the station can power all devices properly, the levels should match the rated specifications.
The following smartphones were used:
- Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
- Samsung Galaxy A5 2015
- Samsung Galaxy Note 3
- Huawei 3C
Device | Original Charger | DUK-5P
Ampere | Voltage | Ampere | Voltage
S7 Edge | 1020 mA | 4.201V | 1040 mA | 4.203V |
A5 2015 | 1195 mA | 4.297V | 1192 mA | 4.198V |
Note 3 | 1200 mA | 4.231V | 1200 mA | 4.158V |
3C | 1170 mA | 4.202 | 1177 mA | 4.311 |
We installed the Ampere app (version 3.11) on all phones to check if each port could charge devices properly without losing voltage.
