The Grand Theft Auto series has become very popular since the release of GTA: Vice City. The franchise’s fans have always awaited new entries, but with the release of GTA 5, there has been a particularly long wait for GTA 6.

But on February 4, 2022, Rockstar finally broke their silence and revealed that they are working on GTA 6, ever since the hype among fans has been crazy, and they have been waiting impatiently.

After that news, there have been constant leaks and rumors, which have disclosed a lot about the game, like we previously learned that GTA 6 would not feature three playable characters like GTA 5.

Recently, Rockstar placed a lot of Vice City posters in GTA 5, and they included the date, 7th August.

Rockstar could be hinting at a GTA 6 announcement on August 7th, which is one day before Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call. Additionally, there were a lot of rumors suggesting that GTA 6 would take place in Vice City, which lends some credence to the claim.

In the past, there have been rumors circulating on 4Chan, and a leaker going by the name “Boko” also said, that the GTA 6 announcement would happen after the GTA Online July update, which is on July 26.

However, it should be remembered that these are only rumors and could be proven wrong at any time, so we advise you to take this news with a grain of salt.

This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be on the lookout for more news regarding GTA 6. On that note, what are your thoughts on Grand Theft Auto 6 taking place in Vice City? Let us know in the comments section.

Update: As we mentioned to take these rumours with a grain of salt. It appears that the posters were placed in GTA V a long time ago, and there is currently no information indicating that GTA 6 will be announced on August 7.
