Final Verdict—What We Recommend?
Intel Arc B580: While the Arc B580 proved to be very power-efficient and slightly more thermally efficient than the RTX 3070, it lacked performance in gaming and productivity. However, this doesn’t mean it’s bad. Instead, it is a decent 1080p card that is also affordably priced.
Nvidia RTX 3070: On the contrary, the RTX 3070 consistently showcases its utmost performance in gaming and productivity. The temperature difference is comparatively insignificant, but the price justifies its relentless performance, as it can push through in 1440p and 4K gaming.
That said, the choice is ultimately yours. We recommend getting the RTX 3070 if you have the budget for it and prioritize performance over anything. Conversely, we recommend getting the Arc B580 if you’re on the lighter side of the budget and want decent overall performance.
While the RTX 3070 can support multiple displays, it lacks AV1 encoding, which the Intel Arc B580 does have. Also, the B580 supports up to four simultaneous 4K HDR displays. The RTX 3070 offers a better ray tracing experience because of its 2nd-generation RT cores. While the Arc B580 supports ray tracing, it often struggles with ray-tracing performance comparatively. While the XeSS 2 is a new technology, it is not refined or widely supported in most games. Nvidia’s DLSS 3 is more advanced, provides better image quality, and is also widely supported. The Arc B580’s AV1 video encoding and support for the OpenCL and OpenVINO make it suitable for creative workloads because it can handle up to two 8K 10-bit workloads. The Intel Arc B580 is more or less similar to the RTX 4060 Ti based on the performance. FAQs

Hi! I’m Ali Tauseef, and I have been writing for Tech4Gamers since 2022. I love all things computer hardware but am particularly fond of CPUs and motherboards, and I like to stay up-to-date about the latest advancements in these worlds, and when possible, write about it. When I’m not doing that, I like to get into a little FPS action in CS2 or get lost in the vast world of RDR2.
