Whether it’s through the recent acquisition of significant companies like Activision Blizzard or the fantastic offerings of Game Pass, Microsoft has been very active and killing it recently.

Many businesses are having problems as a result of the recent global economic strain, including Sony, which raised the price of the PlayStation 5; as a result, upsetting fans all around the world.

However, it appears that Microsoft has other intentions, as recently, the CEO of the Xbox Game Studios, Phil Spencer, in an interview with CNBC, stated that raising the prices of the Xbox consoles is not the best course of action for customers during these times of global economic unrest.

This is excellent news for everyone planning to purchase an Xbox console. Still, it is somewhat negative news for Sony because they raised the prices of the PlayStation 5 consoles, while its most significant competitor, Microsoft, is not looking forward to increasing the price of the Xbox consoles; this gives Microsoft an upper hand over Sony.

Phil Spencer also revealed that they are not pausing acquisitions either; this means Microsoft would continue to acquire more giant studios like Activision Blizzard and expand their portfolio. Their subsequent acquisition is rumored to be Creative Assembly.

Microsoft has implemented many good Xbox console changes, like faster boot times, reasonable prices, and many more. All of this has us very excited for the future of Microsoft and the Xbox consoles.

On that note, what do you think about Microsoft not hiking the prices of the Xbox Consoles, unlike Sony? Let us know in the comments section.
