- Take-Two is planning to launch Judas, BioShock’s spiritual successor, by FY28/29.
- The publisher also aims to add 3 new core IPs to its arsenal in the same period.
- It is already gearing up for a massive year with the release of GTA 6.
Take-Two is preparing for a big year with the release of GTA 6. However, the company already has its eyes set on the future and highlighted its journey after the release of arguably the most anticipated game of all time.
According to its financial report, Take-Two Interactive is planning to launch BioShock’s spiritual successor, Judas, between the fiscal year 2027-2029, and will also release 3 brand new core IPs in the same time frame.
Why it matters: The publisher is one of the biggest names in the industry, and fans are always interested in what they have planned. The idea of Judas is already exciting, but more new IPs will hype the fans even more.

Take-Two’s financial report reveals Judas is planned for between FY27-29 release. This is still a very long wait considering the game was revealed back in 2022, with an explosive trailer, with huge inspiration from the Bioshock games.
Anyhow, the more interesting part is the 3 new core IPs that the publisher has planned. One of them is labeled Project ETHOS, while the other is still a mystery, but this will be their strongest lineup in history.

Additionally, aside from Judas, a new BioShock game is also in development by Cloud Chamber studio. Strauss Zelnick recently showed disappointment at how it has been delayed, but still, fans of the genre will be eating well.
