More Activision Games Coming to Game Pass!

Story Highlights
  • A new listing suggests that Spyro Reignited Trilogy could be on its way to Game Pass.
  • The game has just been added to the Microsoft Store for PC.
  • This could be one of the first Activision Blizzard games to join Game Pass.

There was once a time when iconic characters like Spyro and Crash were associated with PlayStation. However, this changed with Microsoft’s deal with Activision Blizzard, as they now hold the exclusive rights for both games.

Following a new listing, Spyro Reignited Trilogy could also be headed to Game Pass.

Why it matters: The trilogy’s arrival in Xbox Game Pass is significant since it would be one of the first Activision games on the service. It would also show Microsoft picking up the pace with its subscription roll-out.

The trilogy has been added to the Microsoft PC store along with the Xbox achievements list. Usually, when games are listed on the PC store, they make their way towards Game Pass.

The game is also directly a part of the store, and you don’t seem to need the Battle.net launcher to access it. This listing suggests Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be the second Activision IP to join the service.

Diablo 4 was recently added, and we expect a new announcement soon. Meanwhile, reports state that multiple Call of Duty games could join the subscription by June.

Spyro Has Always Been Famous Among Platformers

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy takes the original trilogy and merges it into one package. It features completely revamped visuals and gameplay. Players can consider the Crash Trilogy as a similar example, with both games being remade from the ground up.

Spyro coming to Xbox Game Pass means a long era of the character being a PlayStation mascot is over.

We still remember playing the first on the original PlayStation and loving it. Reports state that a brand new fourth entry is now in development, so we look forward to what Toys for Bob has in store for this beloved character.
