The difference in launch prices of these GPUs was very small; however, the RX 6800 now costs about 31.8% less than the RTX 4070. It is because the RX 6800 is very outdated. AMD Radeon RX 6800: The RX 6800 provides phenomenal performance for a mid-range GPU, especially for gamers with a tight budget. The RX 6800 is capable of carrying modern-day games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions with good performance with the help of its 16GB VRAM, more ROPs and many RT Cores.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070: The RTX 4070 is an even better GPU with greater performance and better power and thermal efficiency. However, its performance is insufficient, though, given its current cost.
