Runs At Over 60FPS On PS5, Xbox Series X, and Sony's Mid-Gen Refresh!

Story Highlight
  • The hype of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is at an all-time high as there is less than a month left for the release.
  • Fans have been waiting to know about its performance on consoles, especially on the Xbox Series S.
  • Overall, the game runs pretty well on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PS5 Pro; it also maintains 30 FPS on the Series S at native 1080P.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is among the most anticipated titles of 2025. While many fans have been excited to play it, some have had concerns regarding its performance, especially on the consoles.

KCD2 developer has also blamed the Xbox Series S for not allowing it to have freedom over the game’s scope. However, fans shouldn’t worry much as the game is fairly well optimised on the consoles, especially on the Series S, as it runs at a stable 30 FPS.

Why it matters: Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 PC specs are brutal, as even the RTX 4080 can’t run it at 4K 60FPS, but its analysis on the console reveals that the game is well-optimised.

ElAnalistaDeBits on YouTube has released thorough footage of the game running on different consoles. It seems to run pretty great on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PS5 Pro. The performance mode offers 60+ FPS on the aforementioned consoles

On PS5 Pro, the game is upscaled to 4k, while on the base console and Series X, it is upscaled to 2k resolution. However, the impressive bit is KCD2 running on Xbox Series S. Despite the console’s limitations, the game runs at native 1080P 30 FPS.

Not only that, but the console offers a stable 30 FPS experience, which is pretty surprising given how hefty Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is. The image quality, drawing distance, and attention to detail also seem perfect.
