Rockstar Is Killing GTA 6 Marketing Momentum Itself!

Story Highlight
  • Audiences feel GTA 6 marketing hasn’t been the best so far.
  • Fans have called out Rockstar Games for failing to deliver a new trailer in over a year.
  • Many have also stated that Red Dead Redemption 2’s marketing efforts were much more interesting a few months before its release.

GTA 6’s marketing kicked off with a bang last month, revealing plenty of new screenshots and details about the title. Among other things, Rockstar Games was quick to confirm that the game would play best on PlayStation.

The team also teased a potential chapter system for the story, giving fans plenty to analyze and discuss. However, almost a full month later, the team has yet to pick up the pace again, leaving fans somewhat disappointed with the marketing efforts so far.

Why it matters: Games typically go all out for their marketing as the launch draws nearer. Rockstar Games has yet to pull the trigger on its biggest marketing plans, so gamers are now growing anxious with the wait.
