  • GTA 6 is expected to have a story chapter system like Red Dead Redemption 2.
  • This tidbit was discovered on the game’s site, mentioned within details about its Ultimate Edition.
  • The base game will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition goes up to $100.

GTA 6 undoubtedly has unprecedented hype around it, and Rockstar Games has taken the next step towards promoting its magnum opus. The studio has confirmed the game’s price and the existence of multiple editions in a new update on the GTA 6 site.

However, quite a peculiar detail was also hidden in the description of the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar Games says that Ultimate Edition bonuses are spread through the various story chapters of GTA 6.

Why it matters: GTA 6’s story campaign could heavily resemble Red Dead Redemption 2 if what Rockstar Games says on the official website is correct. We could expect multiple well-crafted chapters filled with various missions and heists for the game.

On the site, Rockstar clarifies that new items from the Ultimate Edition will be accessible in each chapter of GTA 6, confirming that the story structure will be similar to its highly successful Red Dead Redemption 2.

To put things into perspective, the RDR2 story is one of gaming’s best-received campaigns so far, and its chapter-based system also played a huge role in making different moments memorable. Therefore, many events did not blur together because of the smart separation.

GTA 6 is going with a similar approach to ensure that each campaign chapter will stand out in its own different way. We can expect various missions, heists, and heart-tugging story moments to be spread across each chapter.

New pictures have all the GTA 6 fans giddy and excited for what’s to come next.

Regardless, Rockstar Games also shared over 60 new GTA 6 screenshots, showcasing the game’s massive customization potential, Vice City landscapes, protagonists in different story moments, and much more.

The base edition of the game will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition goes up to $100. However, the physical edition only comes with a code since a disc won’t be included.

Regardless, we can also expect to see the game’s next trailer soon as the marketing progresses.

Do you think Rockstar Games will nail GTA 6’s campaign as it did with Red Dead Redemption 2? Can we look forward to a happy ending? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Tech4Gamers forum.
