The latest addition to Tekken 8 marks Roger Jr.’s return next month, but afterwards, Yujiro Hanma will join the game as the latest guest character. Yujiro Hanma has also received a small teaser today, winning fans over with his menacing demeanor and terrifying strength.

The teaser does not show any gameplay, but Bandai Namco has shared a proper gameplay trailer for Roger Jr. for the time being. Once this character arrives in November, fans should look forward to a detailed Yujiro Hanma gameplay breakdown toward the end of the year.
Tekken 8 has already received guest characters like Clive Redfield from Final Fantasy 16 in the past, but Yujiro Hanma’s upcoming arrival has fans more excited than ever before. It will be interesting to see, then, whether the Baki character helps introduce a whole new audience to the Tekken franchise.
Do note that Tekken and Baki aren’t complete strangers to each other. In the past, a Tekken character like Feng was considered to have taken direct inspiration from Baki’s Retsu Kaioh, so the crossover should be quite fitting.
