- Previous reports suggested that GTA 6 will only be restricted to third-person.
- A new leak from CYBERLEEK gives us a look at the game’s first-person gameplay.
- He doesn’t seem to be using any tools, since the perspective looks really polished.
GTA 6 was the target of a massive data leak, right before the official Netflix showcase happened. Now, the same leaker who goes by CYBERLEEK has returned yet again, revealing another 25 minutes of brand-new gameplay.
Despite previous reports suggesting that it won’t be there, this new leak gives us our first look at the first-person perspective in GTA 6. Based on how good it looks, it feels like a completed build and not a throwaway.
Why it matters: Because Rockstar did add first-person support to GTA 5, many believed that it would be available for the next entry too. While reports did suggest otherwise, it might, after all, feature the perspective.

This new CYBERLEEK video gives us a very good look at the first-person gameplay. We won’t be adding the clip for obvious reasons, but it’s there in the wild. Interestingly, it feels polished and properly developed.
The first time we see this perspective is with driving. Eventually, Jason steps out of the vehicle, and the world is also in first-person. It doesn’t seem like he is using any dev tools or something because of how natural it looks.

Rockstar, of course, hasn’t confirmed or denied anything. The game not including the perspective stems from one of the previews of the game, but it seems the studio is taking a page out of RDR2 and GTA 5’s books.
