Fans Outraged As Bloodborne Excluded From Sony’s Poll For Best Exclusive

How Long Will Sony Ignore Bloodborne?

Story Highlight
  • Sony has recently started a poll to figure out the best PlayStation exclusive.
  • A total of 16 games are present in the competition, but Bloodborne is nowhere to be found.
  • Many fans found this unreasonable and filled the comments section with their concerns.

PlayStation has recently conducted a massive poll on Twitter, pitting its biggest exclusives against one another. With the likes of God of War, Spider-Man, and The Last of Us, this poll aims to determine the ultimate first-party PlayStation release.

However, Bloodborne is nowhere to be found, leading to disappointment. Fans are outraged at Sony for not including Bloodborne despite its status as a beloved PS4 exclusive.

Why it matters: This is not the first time PlayStation has blatantly ignored Bloodborne despite the demand for a new patch, remake, and PC port.

Sony’s poll is being led by games like Spider-Man and God of War. While Bloodborne might fail to match up to these massive IPs in terms of sales, it certainly deserved an inclusion.

Famous streamer Jacksepticeye has also replied to the tweet. He has been an avid fan of Bloodborne, dubbing it his favorite game of all time. In addition to Jacksepticeye’s tweet, replies are filled with fans pointing out Sony’s exclusion.

Three Spider-Man games are part of the polls, which added more fuel to the fire. Sony has even included less popular games like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, which also received a PC port last year.

Therefore, many are left wondering why PlayStation seemingly has no interest in Bloodborne.

One user stated that Sony excluded this beloved FromSoftware release because it would easily win the poll. Given the cult-like following of the game, this outcome would not have been too shocking.

While it is a shame that Bloodborne was left out of this poll, we believe Sony has still highlighted many of its biggest games in the list. God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and more are some of the finest works the industry has produced to date.

However, with the inclusion of Demon’s Souls, it is a bit odd that Sony decided to leave out Bloodborne, considering both are similar titles from the same team, and the latter has a much bigger fan following.

Recently, FromSoftware also acknowledged the interest in this PlayStation IP, with an insider stating that a revival for the franchise is still in the works behind the scenes.
