Nixxes Software Working On Port!

Update:-

The PC port has been officially announced, with Nixxes Software working on the port. It will be released on July 26.

Original Story:-

It is no surprise that PlayStation will continue to release more PC ports for the foreseeable future. The gaming giant recently released The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, and it looks like another port will soon be ready.

According to a reliable leaker, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the next PC port.

Why it matters: Previously, a popular leaker hinted at a PC port that would be announced soon. This report appears to confirm the previous leak.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is among the few first-party PlayStation games that have not been released on the PS4. The game utilizes the current-gen hardware in the PS5 to deliver jaw-dropping visuals and nearly instant load times.

Having been released in 2021, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart also received excellent reviews from critics. The game is currently rated at an impressive 88/100 on Metacritic and will serve as the third recent game from Insomniac Games to make it to the PC platform.

Many fans will likely be concerned about PlayStation’s work on the port. While the gaming giant has a solid track record with ports, the recently released Last of Us Part 1 saw criticism for its poor performance.

However, rumors have claimed that Nixxes could be involved in porting Ratchet & Clank. The company previously helped with the Spider-Man PC ports, and this should inspire confidence in PC gamers.

This will also be the first Ratchet & Clank game on Steam. As such, it will likely bring a brand-new audience to the charming world of Ratchet & Clank which may encourage PlayStation to consider bringing the older games to PC or modern consoles.
