  • The Core i5-1135G7 performed 3.5% better in multi-core applications and was 19% faster in the single-core tests. It also outscored its rival in the 3DMark Time Spy CPU benchmark.
  • The Ryzen 5 7520U won the remaining two benchmarks by a margin of 20.1% and 5%. When we look at the price difference, entry-level Intel Core i5-1135G7 laptops cost 25.7% more than Ryzen 5 7520U ones. 
  • The larger 25.7% price difference negates the two wins scored by the Ryzen 5 7520U in the benchmarks. Thus, the Core i5-1135G7 provides a much better value than the Ryzen 5 7520U

Final Thoughts 

This marks the end of my Core i5-1135G7 vs Ryzen 5 7520U comparison. After thoroughly comparing the two CPUs, I’ve found that the Core i5-1135G7 is much better regarding value. It only lost to the Ryzen 5 7520U in two benchmarks, in one of them by only 5%. At the same time, it costs about 25.7% less.
