Why it matters: Budget gaming PCs are practically going extinct, but now and then, gamers end up finding incredible deals on hardware. The RTX 5060 alone has nearly doubled in price since its launch.

Recently shared on Reddit, u/Chocolatehusky226 managed to snag a CyberPowerPC pre-built Intel Core Ultra 5 225F and RTX 5060 PC for just $750 at Costco.
Perhaps the biggest win in this scenario is that the PC came with 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage. This is basically a goldmine in the current era of shortages, since 32GB of memory alone can cost close to $500.
As per the Redditor, the PC was originally listed for $1349, but a discount knocked the price down to $850. However, the user asked the staff for an additional discount and eventually ended up taking the PC home for just $750.
In his post, the Redditor mentioned that he did not initially plan on buying a PC during that particular Costco visit. However, the deal was simply too tempting to miss out on, especially for a console gamer who had wanted to try the PC ecosystem.
One caveat with the PC is that it came with an RTX 5060 8GB, but for the price, it’s unlikely that the Redditor is complaining.
