- Phantom Blade Zero is said to take up over 100GB of storage on PS5.
- The game is expected to be a major AAA action RPG from S-Game that offers players many hours of content.
- Its larger file size could also indicate plenty of secrets throughout the world for multiplayer and cooperative gameplay later.
Phantom Blade Zero has many excited fans after its latest information drop, especially regarding details related to the game’s bosses and difficulty. Information from the PlayStation backend has also revealed size requirements for Phantom Blade Zero, noting that the game takes up nearly 150GB on PS5.
Why it matters: Games taking up over 100GB of storage aren’t exactly new, but they aren’t all that common either. This makes the size of S-Game’s title very surprising.

Phantom Blade Zero will take up around 135GB on the PS5 if backend data taken from the PlayStation Store itself is anything to go by.
Although a large application size makes sense given S-Game’s AAA ambitions, these types of large files are usually reserved for massive games like the latest Call of Duty titles, making this a bit surprising.
Of course, other games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth take up a similar amount of storage, so it seems Unreal Engine 5 might also have something to do with the massive file size.

The good news is that this file size suggests Phantom Blade Zero will be a big title with plenty of things to see and do.
