According to data from Sensor Tower, GTA 6 pre-orders on PS5 jumped by a huge 606% on August 27th, following the extended showcase on Netflix. Xbox also saw a modest increase in pre-orders on its end, with GTA 6 sales getting bumped by 127%.

Overall, the Rockstar title saw an incredible increase in pre-orders thanks to the reveal, with sales jumping by 572% within just two days of the premiere. Netflix also took home some big wins thanks to its partnership with GTA 6, with viewership on the streaming service rising by 35% when the reveal premiered.

Netflix mobile app users also saw a bump of 50% on the day of the extended showcase, with web traffic rising to such an extent that the app crashed. Sensor Tower also reported that the GTA 6 reveal allowed Netflix to position itself as an overarching entertainment hub while bringing in new sign-ups.
