Since the extended look, GTA 6 has been the talk of the town. Rockstar also invited certain people to previews following the showcase, and we have been getting tons of additional information on this year’s most anticipated release.
We saw a detailed driving set piece in the extended look where the protagonists run away from the cops. The studio has revealed that GTA 6 driving learns from the realism of GTA 4, but remains accessible like GTA 5.
Why it matters: Both titles had their pros and cons in the driving experience. GTA 4 had a lot of realism, but the vehicles were hard to handle, while the fifth game has easy driving, but it just felt a little too easy.
I asked Rockstar Games' Rob Nelson how GTA 6's driving compares to GTA 4/5.
Me: Would you say the driving is as weighty as GTAIV?

TGG asked Rockstar’s Rob Nelson about how driving has evolved in GTA 6. Nelson stated that the team has retained the best parts of both games, removed the bad ones, and incorporated them into the latest title.
Just watching the extended look, you could tell that the driving felt real; you could feel the weight of the car, unlike GTA 5, where it was more like an arcade game. It also didn’t look as jarring as it did with the previous iteration.
Nelson said the driving has been built from scratch for the current-gen hardware. You have much more control over everything, including the tyres and suspension, steering, and driving on multiple terrains.
