The countdown to GTA 6’s extended look was ruined by a guy called Cyberleek, who leaked tons of gameplay footage online. While he claimed that it was the final build, today’s showcase revealed he was wrong on so many levels.
GTA 6 Netflix extended look was an absolutely stunning affair, and it was just Rockstar Games flexing its muscles. It looks nothing like the leaks, which is now quite apparent were from a much older build than claimed.
Why it matters: The massive attention to detail, the sheer volume of everything going on, and the visual masterpiece all represent why the studio took so many years cooking up the next installment in its acclaimed franchise.

The Netflix look contains nearly 26 minutes of footage, captured entirely on the PS5. This is also a great time to talk about how impressive the title looks, given that it was playing on just the base console.
It could look and might potentially run even better on the PS5 Pro, while the Xbox Series X might be similar to the PS5. This version is clearly running at 30 FPS, and many believe the title won’t feature a performance mode.
Returning to the visuals, global illumination has always been the studio’s strength, and GTA 6 is a visual feast for the eyes. The combat also looks a lot more polished, driving is better, and the NPCs all look like unique characters.
Rockstar has truly outdone itself with this look. If there were any doubts, they must be cleared up by now. Also, despite the leaks and all, the studio is sticking with the November 19 release, so there won’t be any delays.
