- GTA 6 will feature an advanced dynamic relationship system between the protagonists.
- Jason and Lucia can either improve or worsen their dynamic based on in-game situations.
- Stuff like answering texts, exploring the city, and doing activities together will influence things.
We are fresh from the GTA 6 extended look, which gave us our first look at the game’s impressive gameplay and next-gen visuals. The previews for the title have also started pouring in, providing us with some additional information.
We already know that the two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, are lovers; however, GTA 6 has an advanced mechanic that will determine how their relationship strengthens or weakens over the course of the game.
Why it matters: Just from the extended look alone, we can tell that Rockstar’s flagship title features some of the most intricate and advanced game mechanics we’ve ever seen.

IGN’s preview gives many additional details on GTA 6. Initially, Jason and Lucia will seem like an inseparable duo, but their relationship can change based on your in-game decisions, seriously affecting their dynamic.
For instance, both the protagonists will text each other about things like going to bed or going somewhere, and more. If you ignore those texts as either of the characters, cracks will start to appear in their relationship.

In reverse, if you go on missions together and explore the state of Leonida together, do activities, heists, shopping, and whatever, their dynamics will improve even more. This means their relationship is in your control.
This might also hint at a possible game ending, where they might break up if you don’t manage their relationship well. Anyhow, GTA 6 is gearing up to be much more than we expected, and we are all for it.
