First Section Free To Try For iPhone Users!

Apple, a renowned brand for the production of innovative products such as iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and more, has returned with its new flagship iPhone 15 Pro series this year.

The iPhone 15 Pro features an impressive A17 Pro SoC, allowing it to break past the limits of traditional smartphone hardware. Apple confirms this enables the smartphone to natively support AAA titles like Death Stranding and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Following this reveal, Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village is headed to iPhones and iPads on October 30.

Why it matters: AAA gaming on smartphones has been a dream for many, and Apple’s latest hardware appears to be the first step towards realizing the full capabilities of gaming on the go with smartphones.

The game is releasing on October 30 for both iPhone and iPad. In Japan, the game costs 4,990 yen, translating to $33.50, and the expansion of the game costs an additional 2,000 yen or $13.50.

Moreover, the game application will be free to download, allowing Apple users to get a small glimpse at native gameplay as they play the opening parts of the game free of cost.

Resident Evil Village runs at 30FPS on the iPhone 15 Pro. It will also be available to play on devices like the iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chips, and Apple’s MetalFX upscaling ensures the game runs well across these devices.

Apart from Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake has also been announced for Apple devices. However, the game will arrive later, scheduled to be released by the end of 2023.

Resident Evil 8

As expected, the latter will be priced higher since it was released earlier this year. According to the report, it will cost 7,990 yen, making it quite a bit more expensive than the upcoming release.

Resident Evil 4 will also offer a free application, allowing players to enjoy the first section of the game at no cost.

Apple hopes to offer more diversity for its gaming endeavors with the iPhone 15 Pro.

The tech giant realizes that the iPhone’s ability to handle everyday tasks, in addition to games, provides it a unique benefit over gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, potentially making it the best gaming console.
