Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will pick up after the 2020 release, continuing the story of Final Fantasy 7 with modern visuals and gameplay mechanics for new and returning players. Nearly a year after the game’s first reveal, not much has been said about Final Fantasy’s upcoming installment.

However, Producer Yoshinori Kitase has just provided a small update for fans. According to the Producer, development is progressing smoothly.
