Total Prize Pool Of $2 Million!

Ever since its inception, the Street Fighter games have been perceived well by fans all around the world. The games have gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews, and fans eagerly await each new installment.

It was recently revealed in a tweet by the official Street Fighter Twitter Account that the next Capcom Cup, Capcom Cup X, would feature Street Fighter 6 as its main game and the winner would be receiving a prize of $1 million.

Street Fighter 6 is the upcoming installment in the Street Fighter series, with a release date of June 2, 2023, and the Capcom Cup X would be the first official Capcom tournament to feature the game.

The total prize pool of the event will be $2 million, which was recently revealed at the Capcom Cup IX. The prize pool for the Capcom Cup IX was $300,000, and judging by how big the jump from $300,000 to $2 million is, it appears that many more individuals will be competing in the forthcoming Capcom Cup.

The Capcom Cup IX just ended with MenaRD coming out as the champion, it appears that Street Fighter 5 will no longer serve as the main game for Capcom Cups going forward. Instead, Street Fighter 6 will serve as the main game up until the release of a new installment in the series in the future.

Furthermore, Street Fighter 6 is looking to be in great shape based on what we have seen so far about the game, and it looks like the upcoming Capcom Cup is going to be interesting if Street Fighter 6 lives up to our expectations.

We are excited and looking forward to the Capcom Pro Tour and the Capcom Cup X. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be on the lookout for more news regarding Street Fighter 6 and the next Capcom Cup in the future.
