Call of Duty 2023 Plans Revealed Through Leaked Document

Content Line-up For MW2 Leaked!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is nearly four months old, and Infinity Ward has recently released season 2 for the highly successful Call of Duty game. Season 2 brings a new multiplayer ranked mode, a new Battle Pass, and a new map for Warzone 2.0.

While fans have been busy exploring the new content, Call of Duty’s plans for the coming months have surfaced online.

Activision was hacked last year, and information like the dates for upcoming Call of Duty seasonal updates is now available.

Season 3 will go live on March 15, while Season 4 will be available starting May 15. Interestingly, a date is not mentioned for Season 5, but Season 6 should begin in September.

Furthermore, the leak reveals content that fans can expect in the upcoming seasons. This includes seven core maps for the multiplayer experience. Recently, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 introduced two maps with Season 2, and many were disappointed with the limited offerings for multiplayer mode.

It looks like a similar trend will be observed in future seasons. Fans can also expect more content for the gunfight, Spec Ops, and Raid game modes, along with one licensed operator each season.

Unsurprisingly, Activision will continue to offer more bundles for weapons. The leak points to 240 or more bundles across the multiple seasons coming up. Infinity Ward will also continue refreshing each season with ‘Reloaded updates.’

Finally, the leak also mentions ‘Jupiter.’ While the exact meaning is unclear, ‘Jupiter Alpha’ could mean this is a reference to the next iteration of the Call of Duty franchise.

Previously, it was rumored that Call of Duty would not be releasing a full title in 2023. Instead, Activision would offer a premium expansion for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. However, these plans appear to have been scrapped, with recent rumors hinting that another full release is coming in 2023.

‘Jupiter’ could be referencing this upcoming title, but the validity of the leaks remains questionable. As such, it would be wise to take this leak with a slight grain of salt.
