It was recently confirmed that Starfield is still set to release in the first half of 2023, reviving the hype surrounding the long-awaited space adventure from Bethesda Games.
Starfield is going to be the next significant AAA Xbox exclusive which will be released in 2023. All the videos and teasers resealed by Bethesda suggest that Starfield is very different and the most ambitious game the studio has delivered.
Todd Howards has also claimed on multiple occasions that Starfield takes the best from Bethesda’s beloved games like Skyrim and Fallout and makes them better. Undoubtedly, these claims and the gameplay of Starfield have raised the bar of expectations very high, and in situations like this, the worst thing that could happen to a game is not fulfilling the fans’ expectations.
The most accurate example of this would be Cyberpunk 2077, which had a disastrous launch after a massive hype train. However, in a recent podcast, Colt Eastwood claims that Starfield exceeds all expectations and is the next revolutionary game from Bethesda. Colt says that he has heard from multiple reliable sources:
Starfield is bigger and more ambitious than they were expecting. It is bigger than anything they [Bethesda] did in Skyrim. It takes everything they [Bethesda] have done in Skyrim and Fallout and raises it.
This statement by Colt implies that Starfield will be the game it promises to be. As far as the scale of Starfield is concerned, it is confirmed that Starfield will have hundreds of solar systems and around 1000 explorable planets, each with its unique identity.
Besides, it is not holding back in utilizing the next-gen hardware either. To make the experience more immersive and realistic, it will support Nvidia’s RTX technology. It will be interesting to see how the final game turns out to be, fans are hyped for Starfield, and we hope that Bethesda fulfills their expectations with this game.
