Hogwarts Legacy climbed to the top of sales charts on Steam and consoles weeks before release. The anticipation for the game continues to grow, and a large number of fans are already playing the game in early access.
While the release date is set for February 10, fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition can already jump in. Hogwarts Legacy has shown incredibly high player counts on Steam so far, reaching nearly 500K concurrent players.
This is an incredible turnout for a brand-new release. For comparison, already-established games like Dead Space Remake managed to gather around 30K concurrent players. A well-known IP like Spider-Man has also seen less than 70K concurrent Steam players with Spider-Man Remastered.

However, Hogwarts Legacy continues to flourish and will likely go on to be among the best-selling games of the year. Since the game is coming to nearly every modern console, fans have no shortage of options and can play the game on their preferred system.
