Dead Space Arriving On Game Pass Ultimate & EA Play On 26 Oct

The 2023 Remake Is Coming To Subscriptions!

Dead Space was one of the biggest releases of 2023. Although it was quickly forgotten, the remake provided a thrilling horror experience during the first month of the year, receiving praise from its original creators for a faithful remake.

Having reached over 30K concurrent players on Steam, it was considered a successful revival of EA’s dormant franchise. However, Dead Space may reach new heights soon, as Microsoft has just announced its arrival on Xbox Game Pass.

Why it matters: Xbox Game Pass is home to 25 million users. Therefore, any new game on the service will immediately have access to a wide audience, increasing its chances of success.

Dead Space Remake

The Xbox Wire confirms Dead Space will be among the next few games heading to the subscription soon.

However, it should be noted the remake will also be available on EA Play from 26 October. Due to EA Play’s inclusion in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, subscribers of Microsoft’s service will be able to enjoy this horror release.

Apart from Dead Space, the announcement highlights games like Cities Skyline 2 and F1 Manager 2023. On the other hand, notable releases like Persona 5 Royal will leave the service this month.

Despite the varied lineup for October, Dead Space is likely to become the highlight for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The game delivers a frightening experience, which can be further bolstered by the use of headphones due to its excellent audio design.

EA Motive’s work has breathed new life into this franchise, with the developer making subtle changes for a modern rendition. The subscription release also provides an excellent opportunity for those who have been waiting for discounts and price drops.

We believe Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers should try Dead Space. Since October is already a spooky month, this remake is an appropriate title for Halloween.

EA has also teased future remakes for Dead Space. Therefore, we recommend fans use this opportunity to prepare themselves for the eventual second remake.
