Sons Of The Forest: Players Are Riding Sharks To Travel

Who Needs The Boats When You Can Ride Sharks?

Fans have waited for a long for Sons of the Forest, a sequel to the 2014 video game. The game is a massive success on Steam, reaching over 350k concurrent players a few hours after its official launch.

Sons of the Forest is a horror game about survival, but something hilarious is going on. As you might already know, for now, there aren’t any boats in Sons of the Forest, so players can’t explore the ocean. But that isn’t the case anymore.

Some players have discovered a way to explore the sea by riding sharks.

maybe we don’t need boats after all from TheForest

This hilarious yet great discovery at the same time for those who like the ocean or want to explore it can now do it thanks to the creative players of the game. In a subreddit, r/TheForest, a user has posted a 9 seconds video with the caption, “maybe we don’t need boats after all.”

In the video, it can be seen that the player is walking on a shark while traveling in the ocean. It doesn’t seem hard, but it might be challenging to control the character on top of the shark.

However, riding a shark is inconvenient as you can’t tell the shark where to go. You can ride on it and hope it takes you where you want to go. If you plan on doing it, make sure to avoid getting eaten by the shark by quickly dashing.

The players who have played the prequel would already know that there were rafts and boats in the game which you could use to travel and use as a shelter. For now, there isn’t any boat available in the sequel as it is still in early access, but we might get to see some boats soon enough.

The devs are working on adding many things to the game, as they have big plans, including improving AI, which is highly requested. Till then, fans can escape the dirty Cannibals by riding the sharks and having fun exploring the ocean.

Aside from that, what do you think about this hilarious discovery by the players? Will you try this out in the game? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
